I absolutely adore this story, so much so that I barely have words to express this. The only thing I don't like about it is that I didn't write it myself. ;)
This fic was without a doubt my favourite response in the whole exchange, and I have NO IDEA HOW IT DIDN'T WIN ANYTHING because it is a literary work of art (really, I mean it). It's so fantastically written, and the story you craft is on point, from your characterisation to how you handle the themes you explore in it. I particularly love that you don't compromise your characters, even just a little bit to further the plot. Anyway, I'm getting a little ahead of the story here, but all else I need to add is that I can rarely bring myself to reread literature, but your story has been an absolute pleasure the second time around so far and I can't wait to finish it again.

Author's Response: Your words mean so much to me! I also don't have the words to express how much your appreciation of this story means. I just value you so much as a friend and a writer, and your high opinion fills me with warm fuzzies. n_n I hope I don't disappoint with the chapters I'm planning on adding later. Thank you for taking the time to reread and to leave a review!

A very cute and pivotal chapter. So much is revealed about their respective personalities through dinner conversation-- Ginny's stubbornness and determination to handle the situation without letting others know that she needs help, Draco's complexity even as his selfish and spoiled qualities aren't exactly hidden, loved his list of pros and cons!, a hint of his desire for something more meaningful in his life... looking forward to the next chapter! :)

Author's Response: As you know from your first read through, and as I hope to highlight even more in the expanded content, Ginny's stubbornness and independence can be admirable, but it will certainly cause some problems for her. That should be fun though. ;) Yes to that hint of Draco's desire for more!! He's stubborn himself so he doesn't see that he wants more yet, but it's there if he'd only be open to it! Thanks so much for reading and reviewing, Anise! n_n

I really loved this story in the exchange, and I'm so glad to see it here! :) This is such a great portrayal of Ginny's character... these lines sum it up, I think:

“Yeah, actually, I do! What do you think you’re doing? She’s my sister! Harry Potter’s ex-girlfriend! She’s a Weasley!”

“Do not define me by my relationships, Ron!” Ginny said, her temper rising quickly. “I don’t belong to anyone. Least of all to you or Harry, so don’t treat me like the only thing that I am is who I am to someone else. I’m my own person, and Malfoy sees that. Don’t you?”

This is exactly how i always felt about Ginny in canon. She could and should have been so much more than a character defined by her relationships, but she never got anywhere NEAR enough of that development by the end (as we all know.) On to the next chapter!

Author's Response: Ugh, Ginny was even worse in the movies, as everyone knows, because she went directly from being Ron's little sister to Harry's love interest. She didn't get enough time to shine as a wonderful character in her own right, which is sad. We did get more of an independent Ginny, not defined by her relationships, in the books, though, before Harry began to notice her. This line you quoted is a direct nod to movie!Ginny's portrayal. Plus, Ron's logic is flawed, and that needed to be pointed out. ;)

This chapter is great. Especially liked Draco's reaction to the letter and photo. I love stories where there's chemistry but takes a while to get there. Looking forward to the next chapter.

Author's Response: Draco's reaction to the letter/photo cracked me up, so I'm glad someone else was amused by it, too! Thanks so much for reading and reviewing. n_n

This is a great story! I think Junker will get what's coming to him and I'm looking forward to finding out how it happens.

Author's Response: I'm so glad you're enjoying it! If Junker doesn't get what's coming to him, there will be no justice in the world, I'm just saying. Hang tight to see how it happens! n_n

I'm loving this. Although I was really hoping Draco would say he wanted to try out dating for real, but I suppose he'll just have to charm her sneakily.

Author's Response: Draco really is going to need some convincing that dating her (for real) would be a good idea! He's blinded by his dislike of blood traitors--Weasleys especially. XD One of my betas basically said that Draco was being silly with his pro and con list because there were no legitimate cons, so why *wouldn't* he want to date her for real?? But it's going to take a little time for Draco to accept that his attraction could possibly lead to something awesome, and he's stubborn (just like Ginny). n_n I'm so glad you're enjoying the story!!

I've always loved the way you write Ginny. Can't wait to see what happens next (especially if it involves Junker getting punched in the face-really hoping for that).

Author's Response: That's such a nice thing to say! I don't think I hear from people about my Ginnys very often, even though she's typically the character I flesh out the most in my stories. It makes me so happy that you like the way I write her! In the original version of this story, Junker didn't get punched in the face, but I'm with you 100%, and I feel like I need to write a punch in somewhere. 😒 We'll see what happens though! Thanks so much for reading and reviewing!
