I like the story, interesting in how things will unfold!
Just a bit of feedback on your writing: you use '...' quite often (although less in later chapters). In my opinion, it looks a bit amateuristic. Which doesn't fit your story :)
Author's Response: Thank you so much for your comments! I often use the ..... just as a pause in conversation to help better set the tone.
