Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww!

Make Lucien strawberry blonde! I don't like red hair on boys. As a redhead myself, I dread having sons with my hair...

Alright then, I did a search on the internet for you:
http://www.soundmedicine.iu.edu/archive/2003/mystery/eyeColor.html deals with the newborn eyecolor.
The breast feeding thing: http://www.breastfeedingbasics.com/html/establishing.shtml this is a long page, search for "engorgement", and read on from there. I gave birth to and breastfed 3 children myself, and therefore speak from personal experience. But the articles will show you the info too.

Also, I thought you'd appreciate some corrections (I believe I read somewhere that you liked those). I did realize that, reading that particular section of the story, you must not have given birth yourself.

But I have really enjoyed the story, it's generally well-written, and of course fanfic doesn't have to be completely accurate. It doesn't matter to me, just trying to be helpful. Thanks!

Author's Response: Thank you for your subsequent review and for the reference links (which I may eventually get around to reading when my PGCE year is over :-S ). I appreciate the reference links because as quoted in my response, another reviewer was most adament that she was right in her assertion re: speed in England, despite having no idea what she was talking about. Similar, I would assume, to me presuming to be the authority on breastfeeding. Which of course I'm not. As I say, I have never had a baby, nor is it looking likely that I shall ever be capable of having a child myself, and this chapter was written a good long time ago (I forget, 2001 ish? Perhaps?) 7 years ago I was in my late teens and my liberality with fact is unsurprising. If you want the honest truth, I am very busy with my career (am training as a Science Teacher) and fanfic writing has not just taken a back seat, but it's out of the car altogether. This story has been going so long I've lost sight of why and how it started and I am beginning to heartily wish I had never become involved with a project like this.rnrnRe: Corrections. Thank you, I do appreciate them, and I appreciate the detail and subsequent effort you have gone to with this response, however it must be said - I am beginning to no longer care about this story. It was written when I was in my mid-late teens when writing was something I did for pleasure and diversion. Sadly I no longer have the time. I have always maintained that I will never abandon this story, and that may or may not be the case, but as a person I have matured and moved away from this work. Reading back through some of my chapters I CRINGE at what I have written (the wedding night scene being the most prevailant example of this), and similarly I am more well informed now about certain aspects (such as birth, and your more recent discussion of Breast feeding) and I KNOW my writing is hopelessly inaccurate and it embarrasses me endlessly. So perhaps that might explain my previous response - do not think I do not appreciate your feedback because I do - I am just embarrassed by it, because I now KNOW that my writing is terrible, but lack the time and inclination to do anything about it. But I am glad you find my work enjoyable. Perhaps I may find time to work on more one-shot drabbles - am still proud of 'Tomorrow' and 'Merry Christmas Draco' as being better examples of such. So again, thank you for your review and this information. It is much appreciated.

Just a few comments...All babies have BLUE eyes when they are born. Their final color sometimes develops in as little as a few weeks, sometimes in as much as a few years. Also, it takes several days for a mother to first start producing milk after the birth of her baby. Ginny couldn't possibly have experienced the 'filling-up' sensation yet, much less any leaks. All there would be at this time would be tiny amounts of colostrum...
Otherwise, great story! :)

Author's Response: Well, having never had a baby (thank christ), all I have to go on is online research, written accounts of other births from new mother support sites (like ivillage and the suchlike), and romantic artistic license. So I expect that some details may be inaccurate. Such is the nature of fanfiction. However further to earlier reviews, please note that when giving me information like this I would like a quoted source of information as one earlier reviewer was quite adament about the fact that in England, because England is part of the EU, speed is measured in km/h which is news to me as I AM English and last time I drove anywhere I can assure my american readers that England is, in fact still using mph.rnrnSo whilst I appreciate the sentiment, it is perhaps a tad unfair to be so dogmatic in asserting that I am incorrect without quoting from an information source to PROVE said assertion.rnrnHowever, as I say, having never HAD a baby myself, the only source of information for this chapter comes from written online accounts of birth on various new mother support sites (and believe me, I did do some reading around this), some minor use of Midwifery textbooks, and a healthy dose of imagination.rnrnBut thank you for your review.

Awww! He loves her (claps happily) Of course, I suspected it, but it wasn't really written out :) OMG, I loved this line: "He gaped at her in astonishment as though she had suddenly developed Seer powers." Lol, that was great. Bahaha. I love this fic!

Wowee, loved it! You know the fab thing about Voldemort dying in no more than ten years? It means that he will die before Lucien is old enough to take the mark! Yipee... Sorry, I'm waffling!

Author's Response: Oh Lucien was never going to end up taking the mark anyway. Draco has already privately sworn not to let his son and heir make the same mistakes he did...

oh man it totally did meet my approval. now she knoews that draco loves her. *sobs* what an emotional chapters. it was great. good job!

Author's Response: Correction. She heard him say it. But will she remember it the next day? Extreme Exhaustion has a habit of making you forget what was said to you. I know it does to me... You'll have to wait and see what happens...

OMG!! This is a wonderful story. You are a truly gifted writer. I love how you wrote Draco, it's just so him. This was such a cute chapter and it was a little sad, but I'm glad that you made Ginny choose her baby. I hope they have a happy marriage and that Voldemort DIES!!!!! Anyways I'm rambling....Great fic, I'll be patiently waiting for the next chapter.
