Just a few comments...All babies have BLUE eyes when they are born. Their final color sometimes develops in as little as a few weeks, sometimes in as much as a few years. Also, it takes several days for a mother to first start producing milk after the birth of her baby. Ginny couldn't possibly have experienced the 'filling-up' sensation yet, much less any leaks. All there would be at this time would be tiny amounts of colostrum...
Otherwise, great story! :)

Author's Response: Well, having never had a baby (thank christ), all I have to go on is online research, written accounts of other births from new mother support sites (like ivillage and the suchlike), and romantic artistic license. So I expect that some details may be inaccurate. Such is the nature of fanfiction. However further to earlier reviews, please note that when giving me information like this I would like a quoted source of information as one earlier reviewer was quite adament about the fact that in England, because England is part of the EU, speed is measured in km/h which is news to me as I AM English and last time I drove anywhere I can assure my american readers that England is, in fact still using mph.rnrnSo whilst I appreciate the sentiment, it is perhaps a tad unfair to be so dogmatic in asserting that I am incorrect without quoting from an information source to PROVE said assertion.rnrnHowever, as I say, having never HAD a baby myself, the only source of information for this chapter comes from written online accounts of birth on various new mother support sites (and believe me, I did do some reading around this), some minor use of Midwifery textbooks, and a healthy dose of imagination.rnrnBut thank you for your review.

I am EEEEEEEEEEing all over the place. I just read chapter 18 on your LJ. I was elated that you'd updated this story. Now, I hope you're holding off on updating this on D&G because you're not going to leave us hanging like you did with that chap on your LJ. I couldn't take it. I mean really, it would hurt me. JK, of course. I'm glad to see you're back into the swing of things. As I said before this is my fave D&G story that was ever wrote and cemented my addiction to them. GJ as always. :)

Whoa, that's the second time he's said that. I absolutely love your story, and you write it believably. Although it's horrid that her family is dead, you've managed to make Ginny living on and falling for Draco work. And holy crap, your Voldemort is scary! I almost want to say moreso than the original. (I said almost! no dungbombs!)

Brilliant! I love the way it's paced, not at all rushed, but not so slow that you loose interest.

Author's Response: If you check my livejournal page, you'll find an un-beta-ed chapter 18...

This is the highest accolade I can give you; you've made my stomach churn, you've made my heart leap, and you've made me cry in joy and sadness.
You are an excellent writer. Thank you!
If you are ever published, please, let me know. I would love to support you and encourage you to write more. Shenna

This is a really fantastic story....I really am in awe of the way each character matures in your story...a lot of people's stories are choppy and make the character's seem not real. I love how you ended chapter 7....And having the malfoy's becoming the new resistance is brilliant and logical. Thanks for writing this and I hope you write much more....Shenna

do u ever plan on adding a new chapter?? cause if u dont u should just tell every1 whoz been following this story for freakin 2 years to see if it got updated!

Author's Response: You might want to check over at my livejournal. As I've been saying for ages - all un-beta-ed work and chapter snippets get posted there first. Do please try to be less aggressive in your responses - I dont get paid to write this story, so when I write, its because I have the time and inclination to.

I absolutely love this story! Please, please, please update it soon. It's been months and I'd hate to see this wonderful story ignored.

Author's Response: Have a look over at my Livejournal - un-beta-ed chapter 18 is up there.

Wow. This is an incredible story, and the situation seems so fascinating, but still realistic, which is hard to achieve. You really show Ginny's turmoil over her relationship with Draco, and her trepidation and fear towards his society. And... yes! He loves her! Though I would love to see more open communication between them. I wonder how she's going to act after his declaration of love?! Can't wait for the next installment!

I spotted this story just a little while ago and I couldn't stop reading it.
It's exactly the type of story that I've been wanting to read!

do you even know how excited i am! i read this story two years ago on hpff.com and then a few months ago i noticed it wasnt there anymore when i was looking in my favorite stories and was like man. but luckily i had printed off one chapter. but that chapter wasnt enough!i have never found a story as good and detailed as yours. then the other day i was sitting here on spring break and i said to myself "hmm i really miss that story." so i googled exquisite irony and nothing came up but then i added hpff to the end and your livejournal popped up and i found my way back to this story! best day of my life so far? i think so.

Author's Response: Wow! Don't you just love those moments? Yeah, HPFF deleted my story because the new round of admins decided the smut was too dirty for their site (even though I'd had each chapter pre-approved by the admins before posting). Sadly Googling ExIr doesn't get results. Googling 'Myanceris' does though... I am so glad you've found your way back to the story. Feel free to share the directions ;-). If you Google me, and scroll down to the bottom, you can read a Pre-Ex Ir Lucius/Narcissa ficlet I wrote and posted on Toujours Pur, entitled 'Elysium Distilled'. You might enjoy that too...

Wow...Draco is in love with her? For how long has he felt for her before he took her as his wife and does Lucius know? Will we ever find out who was behind her attack and will they be punished.

Author's Response: Well put it this way, before they were married, he fancied her a little bit, but buried it and denied it because she was with Harry. Lucius isn't a fool, but nor does he really care either way whether or not Draco is in love with his wife. That's not any of his business and as long as the pair of them do their duty and behave correctly, he really doesn't care what goes on in their heads, hearts or beds. We know who was behind her attack - I said so in the chapter - Bellatrix and 'Karnford'. Bella has some sort of mad fixation I think. You might see more of it in the next chapter. As for punishment... *sniggers* You'll have to wait and see. The plot will undoubtably thicken.

OMG, this is THE best fan-fic for draco and ginny. If it were at all possible, i would suggest J.K. Rowling use this in the last book. not that i want every good person to die, but this is a great post-hogwarts fic. the best, can't wait for chap. 18. keep up the good work.

its been a year since u have updated...just thought i should point it out. pleazzzz do update

Author's Response: Yes, I know. I feel horribly guilty but I jsut can't seem to sit down and get anything done - I write a sentance or two every now and again then delete it a week later. Very frustrating.
