He saw her in the hallway with a broken smile
Then again under the weeping willow
As the rain began to pour
He moved closer, saw her crying
Gave her a hand, brushed away the tears
Watched as her head hit his shoulder in a deep and troubled sleep
And slipped away, leaving beside her
A red rose
