Lord have mercy. I swore I was going to update according to plan come Hell or high water, and I got high water out of the bargain. A lot of homes (and farmland) was ruined, and I spent the better part of April and May helping sandbagging efforts and catering the National Guard dinners (via my family's restaurant). For the record, spaghetti for 600 people sounds like no big deal, just use a big pot...
False. All kinds of False. Nigh on disastrous results. Everybody got fed, but there was a lot of hysteria and tears in the kitchen. There may have even been hair pulling and Molly Weasley-esque spoon brandishing.
Anywho, chapter 19 is here, 20 is on the way, and I will watch my words next time I swear to do something by a specific time. New summer goal: This fic will be finished by the time the fall semester starts. Big bite, kind of doubt that will happen, but it should be close.
