My past seems to be my future
My future is my present
And my present is my past
Am I dead or am I alive? I cannot remember

Lost in the happiness that youth brings

I feel warmth throughout my being

Flickers between life and death
I sense her body next to me
I see an image, something unexplained
Her lips quiver almost as if from the cold

And slowly she raises her hands
Wipes my feverish brow

And the tricks would come one after another

I see she is flitting away
I try to hang on to her

Again tomorrow night
After my magic tricks are done
