Story notes: I just finished re-reading Deathly Hallows, and it occurred to me that there's a gap between when Harry walks past Ginny, who is comforting a girl asking for her mother, on the lawns on his way to confront Voldemort in the forest and when he next sees her when Voldemort comes to announce Harry's death. Draco's whereabouts were also unknown during that period, and that's where this little fic came from.
