I wrote the first chapter of this story in 2008 but never published it to FIA. Inspired by that old Christmas song that Britney Spears sang, but this is NOT a song fic (in that the lyrics do not appear in the story text).
I've succumbed to peer pressure and have included a second chapter. ^^
I wasn't sure if British Christmas traditions were different from American ones, so I Googled it, and that's how I found info about throwing letters into the fireplace.
