So I'm a little speechless right now. The last two chapters of this story have kept me completely spellbound as I read them. The pace at first was a bit slow for how my tastes normally run, but I thought it matched well the subtle cunning of the actions of the Clans... then the first shock for me came in the previous chapter with the revelation of Katherine's twin sister Lily... only to be followed by the culmination of the action which is not unlike the ley lines being drawn together in final resolution. Absolute perfection. I'd write more but I'm dying to get to the next chapter. One of the best plots in fanfiction that I have ever read.
Two and a half years after his failure to kill Albus Dumbledore, Draco has long been accepted back into the ranks of the Death Eaters. He is still obsessively searching for the rebel Ginny Weasley, but he hides that secret well. When she is found one snowy December night, he smuggles her onto the Death Eaters? train with him. And he begins to learn that nothing will ever be the same again?Category: Works in Progress
I really love the way you write Draco - powerful and vulnerable at the same time, but with a twist thrown in that makes him irresistably evil. I guess it just feeds into my penchant for messed up men, but what can I say. You write very well. What gets me is that so far this Draco definitely seems the most normal of all, so I really wonder what must be coming. I see how that is a cliffie, I mean Draco isn't a person to be all normal and happy for long, now is he?
When Ginny Weasley becomes Draco Malfoy's wife, he suspects neither her true identity nor her dangerous motives. But when all Hell breaks lose and their relationship takes unexpected turns, there is more at stake than preserving their marriage--namely, preserving their lives.Category: Long and Completed
Just wanted to drop a quick review to let you know how much I enjoy this story. I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop...
Author's Response: I\'m glad you\'re enjoying this, and thanks for taking the time to tell me you do :) (question: what does \"the other shoe to drop\" mean?\")
Another great chapter, as usual. Sorry I'm not a better reviewer, but I get excited every time I see an update.
From your comment on my other review: I used "the other shoe to drop" to describe the suspense, and waiting for whatever is to come. I don't really know where the phrase comes from, though.
Look at me getting all excited that you updated, and then getting all disappointed, 'cause right... I already read it.
Great job, as usual!
Author's Response: LOL Lyndsie... Sorry I can't surprise you anymore :/ (Although I DO have one page of the next chapter. Wheee! I think I might have to start it over, though...)

Sequel to Break in the sun (till the sun breaks down). For a few blissful hours, the differences between them did not matter. But as Draco and Ginny struggle with their budding relationship, they must soon discover that many things separate them still - family, friends and society as well as their own explosive tempers. The future they want for themselves comes at a price, and reconciling what they each want out of life is a challenge that might just break them apart...Category: Works in Progress
Yay, another wonderful chapter. I'm horrible at actually reviewing, but I've been following this since the first. You write their relationship very realistically. The end left me smiling.
Author's Response: Thank you for following the story all this time! I\'m happy you\'re still enjoying it :) Thank you!

Great job! I love the atmosphere that you have created, and the interaction between Fred and Ginny is endearing. Looking forward to more.

*cheers* Very evocative. I know you said you only have time to read drabbles anymore, but how about writing them? *points to "challenges" section on the sparkly new forums* I'm so glad the corruption is complete!
Author's Response: The corruption is very, very complete! (Sorry. I'm trying to zero out the reviews I haven't responded to. XP)

Ooh, you are tricky. Great job!

I may have said this already, but I love the atmosphere you create here - especially the way you manipulate light. I also really like the imagery at the end, and the juxtaposition of calm and chaos. I'm going to have to go read "Stone Muses".
Author's Response: I’m glad you noticed how I used light throughout the story :D. Thanks for your review!!
A post-HBP Christmas fic. Christmas is a time for new beginnings and whether the gift is great or small, sometimes it is enough to change the course of a life.Category: Completed Short Stories
Aw, I loved Draco's present. Both of them. Great little holiday fic!
Author's Response: *hugs* Thanks, Lyndsie! Though the D/G\'er in me wants to like the kiss better, I\'m totally fond of his Mummy coming to him for Christmas. :)

I long to speak the truest words I have to you... (in which I exploit Rabindranath Tagore's song, The Gardener, 41)Category: Completed Short Stories
This is really good. Draco's emotions are perfectly described. I really like playing with the idea of the facades that people hold on to, and their consequences. The ending was really well said, too.
Author's Response: Thanks! I like playing with that idea too, that\'s why I wrote it :) And I\'m so relieved you liked the ending, because my beta didn\'t understand it.
After Harry Potter defeated Lord Voldemort, and the Aurors counted the survived and the fallen, two people are missing – Draco Malfoy and Ginny Weasley. The story follows the last days before their disappearance when Draco had a memory-loss and an important mission for the Dark Lord, and Ginny had the Malfoy engagement ring on her finger and determination to stop him from massacring dozens of people. After a year, a postcard comes and assures their families that they’re not dead – they just fled so he can show her the world.Category: Long and Completed
I read this over at the exchange. I enjoyed it then, and again now. One of my favorite parts: So since when I first woke up the people around me explained who I am, whom I socialize with and what I should do, I’m kind of disappointed. I’m a Death Eater, I’m evil, and I really thought that I was a better person.
This was very poignant for me. I liked it very much.
Author's Response: Yeah, people loved that characterization of Draco, how he\'s disappointed with being an evil person and all that. I don\'t really like it, and I usually characterize him differently, but I was playing on Draco\'s ego for a bit, so he\'d expect himself to be a great person. I tried very hard not to make it one of those stereotypical memory-loss fics.

Ginny and Draco exchange Christmas Stockings. Fluff abounds.Category: Completed Short Stories
I have to sympathize with Draco. I don't like feet much, either. Great story! It was the perfect holiday piece!
Author's Response: *laughs* I'm afraid I modeled Draco after my husband. The only time he'll touch my feet is when I'm pregnant. :) Thanks for reading--and for covering for me with the ficmas thing! -seegrim

I care what's on Myn's lists of hates. Lots of people care. In fact, I'm not sure if it is Mynuet who really hates 'Mal-ferret' or another member of the Cabal--who decide the rules based on things and behavior we hate, so you should care as well.
And I don't believe it's that complicated to get a beta on PI. A little time-consuming, if it takes a while to find someone who'll accept your project, but not that complicated. (How do I know? I'm an admin at PI as well.) Also, you can go to our very own FIA Forums, in the beta section, and look for one there, as well as on many other sites (I know for sure that Fiction Alley has a beta area).
Author's Response: It\'s not complicated getting a beta. Its changing beta\'s, that\'s the difficult part. And I like my beta, although getting in contact with her has been tricky of late. \r\nAnd I actually need to get rounding to getting myself beta-accreditation. I didn\'t get it completed in time when I did the test-thing. Such is the work-consumed life of the AS student (stupid English education system).\r\n\r\nAnd apologises for the \'Mal-ferret\' on caring or not. It\'s not that I don\'t care about others opinions, but whether or not it\'s a Cabal hate, I\'m not using it to demonstrate Ginny as a spitfire or because it\'s \'clever\' - I don\'t think it is anyway. I\'m using it a simply a nickname or passing phrase. One which, as an author of D/G fanfiction and shipping, am rather fond of, hence the inclusion.

That's an interesting choice of gifts, and I think a good one given the tenor of the story. Looking forward to more!
Author's Response: Thank you!
Selling herself into a marriage contract, Ginny finds herself playing a deadly game, ultimately pitting her husband against her lover and a father against his son. Many twists and turns, depth and evil characters - and a long story of sweet and true love.Category: Long and CompletedNew! Epilogue is up! Yes, I know, the story has been "complete" for a couple of years, but this ending has been partially written for a long time and it ties up some loose ends.
I'm interested to read more, to see the direction of this story. (I'm terrible at reviews, sorry; that's why I tend to avoid writing them at FICL, lol.)
Author's Response: Hi! I apologize for the late response! So glad that you find it interesting so far. I promise to try to keep that up as it progresses. Thanks for the feedback!!! Totally appreciated.
hugs!

Author's Response: Thanks mucho! I\'m glad you liked it. Haha. You know, since you beta most of my stuff, it\'s difficult for me to imagine that you like it. But I guess you should be able to like what you beta, huh? Anyway, your review means a lot to me! :D

I edited out whatever that was. You should check the area to make sure no words got cut, as I had to guess what was supposed to be there.
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I tried to fix it this morning, but I had to go to school. :D I was about to toss my computer against a wall.
