Ginny has had feelings for Harry for as long as she can remember. One summer, she decides to take things into her own hands and find out if she’s really in love with him, or if it’s just an infatuation. She gets her answer, and things spiral downhill from there.Category: Long and Completed
I loved this so very much. Ginny's struggle, her feelings of being trapped in a loveless relationship, her panic attacks, her recklessness -- all ring so true to life. She and Draco are given the kind of life-like depth canon never achieves. Well done!
Meet Ginny Weasley, a girl who alienates herself from her family and house when she becomes friends with two Slytherins. One of them is her best friend, and the other is her family’s enemy; both are in love with her. When the war finally reaches its terrifying end, Ginny finds that she can't choose between them. Well, wars have a funny way of making decisions for you...Category: Works in Progress
I had to stop here to tell you what an amazing chapter that was.
" Blaise had Ginny's hand in his lap and was stroking it softly and absentmindedly. Although his light touch tickled her, Ginny was more disturbed by the fact that Draco's thigh and arm were in direct contact with hers. Blaise's presence was comforting but Draco was so warm that he felt like fire. Every point of her skin that touched Draco sent tendrils of adrenaline throughout the rest of her body. When Ginny shivered from this effect, Blaise looked at her with a sweet smile."
That is some of the best UST I have ever read! Squee. On to the next chapter, then. :)

A Weasley at the Daughters of Hecate Debutante Ball? That's almost as unthinkable as a Weasley and a Malfoy in love!Category: Long and Completed
This really was the perfect fairy tale -- bad guys embarrassed and punished, hero and heroine happily ever after, humor and romance throughout. I loved it so very much!
*Complete* "There are hundreds of invisible people in the world – the ones that you would never notice. You can see them, because they are there, but you don’t SEE them really. I realized that night that I was invisible." When you feel invisible, you'd do anything to have someone really see you; the way you've always wanted to be seen. But if the only person who actually sees you is the last person you'd ever expect it to be, what do you do? [Post Hogwarts]Category: Long and Completed
I really enjoyed this story. Great characters, really exciting plot, beautifully written descriptions (I especially love the way you described the Manor in Bulgaria). Neville as a dark wizard I wasn't so sure of, probably more because the name "Longbottom" sounds so very unscary, rather than because he seemed OOC. I actually liked the motivation you gave him for being resentful and turning to the other side. Great job, going off to read your other stuff now!
Author's Response: Thank you! And you are absolutely right about Neville being OOC, because I love him like woah and know that he\'s Gryffindor to the core and would never become like that... But he\'s the only one that really fit the \'invisible\' type that I needed for the story... I felt bad about abusing poor Neville this way, but it had to be done!
When her dreamworld begins to crack and nightmares seep into her life and overrule everything she ever believed in, Ginny has no other choice but to run. But when her hero becomes yet another threat, the Fates bring an unexpected aid to her side. Why is she haunted by the nigtmares of twisted and untrue reality? What do prophecies have to do with this? And why does it feel right to trust a former enemy?Category: Works in Progress
Most of the story has been betaed by dragonsangel68, to whom I shall forever be grateful for her input and willingness to help.
Interesting so far! I like F&G calling Ginny "oyster" -- very funny. The scenes between Ginny and Draco in the manor remind me of Beauty and the Beast -- particularly when her favorite foods are appearing, and she's given money. I hope this story has a happy beast-transforming ending, too!
One morning, Draco Malfoy woke up to find himself half-drowning. He sat up quickly, water running off the planes of his face as he tried to decipher the cause of this nocturnal aquatic apparition. He was in his private room at Hogwarts. Peeves did not appear to be in the vicinity. He looked up to see if perhaps his bed's canopy had developed a leak when he saw it. Against all the laws of sense and probability, a tiny grey cloud was hovering just above his head, sending out an inexhaustible amount of rain.Category: Works in Progress
Oh, I really love it! I hope you'll update this some time -- it would be great to see where it's headed.
A Vesica/Mynuet Collaboration. If Ginny had even the slightest inkling of what the day would bring, she probably would have called in sick. A disastrous press conference proved to be no match for the spin doctoring talents of Lush's chief and Ginny finds herself catapulted from being a lowly intern to the very eye of the storm, living a double life as a careerwitch and glamorous front woman for a racy new line. Throw in a few A-list events, a few dozen crises, an endless promotional tour with her new co-worker and the last person she wanted to spend time with, and a mystery waiting back home that neither of them may be able to solve….Every day's an adventure when you're living the Lush Life!Category: Works in Progress
Ahhhhh! I'm so glad I started reading this! I just laughed so hard I had tears in my eyes. Oh, my stomach hurts! On to chapter two . . .
Author's Response: Ves says: Oh, it\'s just getting started! Welcome to the insanity!
Myn says: Make sure you put down the food and drink before reading. We wouldn\'t want to be blamed for any shorted-out keyboards.
Just a bit of randomness: I love the verb "foofing."
Author's Response: Myn says: That was Ves\'s word, but I love it, too. Foof! Foof! Foof!
Ves says: Was that mine? *blushes* It\'s a nice verb. Implies the action and the silliness of it at the same time. :D
The poor intern! That part was hilarious (well, the whole chapter was, but that was my favorite). And I love Narcissa with her little herd of stilletoed (sp?) help. I can just picture them clicking their way around the office. Nice alliteration in the chapter title! I tried to think of an alliterative review, but alas, am not clever (or patient) enough. The best I can think of is "I chortled my way through this chapter." Sad, really.
Author's Response:
Ves says: The image of a flock of ladies on ridiculously high heels prancing around after their chief got stuck in my head. Glad to have passed it on!
Myn says: Total credit for our awesome chapter titles goes to Ves. Yay, Ves!
Ves says: Thank you, thank you. I think the trick is not taking the titles or the chapters themselves too seriously.
Ginny awakes with a terrible hangover and a strange feeling that she’s missed something important. Her good friend, Neville, is behaving very strangely. Oh, Dear!Category: Completed Short Stories
I so totally loved that. Hilarious. And the recipe sounds great -- I'll have to try it. My favorite line from the story: "While there, she convinced herself that she could never date Draco Malfoy, and could certainly never love him. Once all that was decided, she stopped at the apothecary and purchased a contraceptive potion." Hehe.
Category: Works in ProgressIn a world where it seems increasingly impossible to find and maintain a lasting relationship, two people find that love has not passed beyond their reach.
I really like this so far. It's a great premise for a story. Draco's a complete and utter ass, but I have faith that Ginny will help him see the light. I'm glad that Blaise has a mistress -- that'll keep us from sympathizing with him when he gets dumped. Can't wait for your next chapter!
Life after Hogwarts was a mystery to Ginny Weasley, until one night she spent in the arms of Draco Malfoy changed everything. Now she has to deal with the unforseeable consequences. Will she be able to handle the hand fate had dealt her with?Category: Works in Progress
Wow - I'm the 50th reviewer for this chapter - that has to be some sort of record for an unfinished fic. But let me say, all the accolades are completely deserved! I noticed this fic on the top ten list and finally sat down to read it. I'm so glad I did! This is one of the best D/G stories I've ever read, and I've read a lot. I'm so excited about this story - can't wait for your next chapter!
Ginny Weasley has gone through a string of men, even suffering through a stint being married to the Savior of the Wizarding World. She keeps her pain bottled up inside, until when she finally snaps, she does something drastic that changes her world forever.Category: Long and Completed
Just wonderful so far (like your other work)! I'm looking forward to the next installment.
Sequel to Quidditch. Short, happy, and succinct. Un-understandable without having first read Quidditch.Category: Completed Short Stories
I both love the end of "Quidditch," and thought it was a perfect, complete story all by itself, and love this sequel, too. For all its happy-endingness, it never veers into super marshmallow bunny fluff. And darn it, I want Draco and Ginny to be together! So thank you! Sorry for not reviewing "Quidditch" -- I read it all at once and had to rush off to read this. Definitely going on my favs list!

That was lovely and bittersweet. Very well written!

Well, it figures with the way my life has been turning out recently. With my luck I'll end up being Harry fucking Potter's pet ferret. Bugger. --Draco Malfoy
This looks really promising. Neat premise. I really like the line "and scrambled to get back into the safety of his little dark box with the apple slice." That struck me as very funny. Looking forward to more!
Author's Response: Thank you. I thought that particular line was cute too. I have no clue as to why. There is another funny ferretism that Draco picks up on in the next chapter.
Poor Draco, getting his ferrety bits scrubbed down! This story is just too funny. Great chapter!
An extended short story especially for Halloween. A Slytherin dare forces Ginny into the Shrieking Shack on Halloween...and during a full moon. Watch the events unfold as unexpected company arrives.Category: Long and Completed
Ah, great! How very fun. I thought for sure the story was going to take a turn and have it be Nott dressed up like the werewolf, accidentally killed b/c of mistaken identity, but I guess that wouldn't have exactly been the fun, fluffy ending you were going for, huh? Thanks for the story, and have a happy Halloween!
A bet, a wanted witch, and a magical contract land Draco in a most unexpected situation. Can his Slytherin soul survive intact or will he succumb to one redheaded witch in bondage? Snarky humor, romance, and a pinch of angst. “I don’t want it. I didn’t order it. Now leave me the fuck alone.” He slammed the door closed. Only it didn’t close due to the enormous boot wedged into its threshold. One loud grunt later and it flung back open, almost hitting him in the face. Draco reflexively leaned back, and that’s when she was thrust into his unsuspecting arms.Category: Works in Progress
This is a really great start. Very well written and an interesting premise. I'm looking forward to your next chapter!
Author's Response: Wow. Thanks, Ada Achlys. Chapter 2 should be up soon!
Another great chapter! I love the hint of humor over whether or not Draco is too old to play Quidditch -- his characterization in this fic is great. And it makes me happy every time he catches the snitch. I'm looking forward to your next chapter -- can't wait to hear Ginny talk more!
Author's Response: Glad to hear you approve of Draco's characterization so far. Yes, we will be hearing more from Ginny as the fic rolls on! Thanks for your review! -fallenwitch
I'm so glad we got to hear a bit from Ginny's perspective in this chapter! It's good to know that she isn't as underhanded or coldhearted as she's appeared so far.
Lovely description of Draco's emotional state -- he seems so believably brokenhearted. Looking forward to your next!
Author's Response: Thank you. I was esp. heartened to hear your comments about Draco. -fallenwitch
A series of ficlets chronicling Draco and Ginny's relationship, both the good times and the bad.Category: Long and Completed
That was so wonderful, I wish it weren't over. It was sweet, and beautiful, and sad, and funny -- I loved it. My favorite line:"I know," she said. "For one thing, you're too damn cheerful in the morning." -- just perfect!
A family Christmas. This is a very short holiday ficlet that is eye-bleedingly fluffy, horrendously cliche, and has absolutely no redeeming value past the warm and fuzzy feelings that come from reading it.Category: Completed Short Stories
Really nice story! Details such as Ron's childishness even as an adult, the men and women separating after dinner (how very British), and Ginny's nervousness letting Draco know she was going to have another baby were perfect, and made this a really fun read. Well done!
Author's Response: I\'m glad you liked it. I\'m such a terrible review whore, so thank you for your kind comments. As for the britishness of the splitting, that was inspired by my boxing day evening spent with a very large extended not-quite-family-yet. As for the choice of drinks, well a Snowball is as traditional as Turkey and Baileys is properly getting there! LOL
