How would things be different if Draco had accepted Dumbledore's mercy at the end of book six? Follow the canon characters as they are forced into company with Draco and struggle to survive in a warring wizarding world. And yes, there will be romance.Category: Works in Progress
Aaww, poor Dracobeing stripped of his right to insult others... It's almost sad. I do wonder where Ron went. Perhaps to coax Ms. Granger out of her room, hmmm? And where is my Cissy? I love Narcissa, she has great potential! Can't wait for the next update!
Author's Response: I haven\'t decided about Narcissa yet... buuuuuuut I\'m leaning toward leaving her out of this fic... for the purpose of the plot (which is all planned out in my head, no holes!) I think it would be better without her. Sorry! :)
Oh, as for the italics thing, it sounds like you're not ending the code. After you've put everything you want italicized after , you need to end it with I had to put periods in there otherwise it wouldn't show up, but be sure to remove the periods when you use the code.
Author's Response: I think it still didn\'t show up... but thanks for trying! I think I\'m going to mess around with it right now...
Author's Response: I just figured it out! I feel pretty dumb... it was very easy--you\'re right, I wasn\'t ending the code. Thanks for your help!! :)
A bout of hot sex is the perfect way to add excitement to an otherwise dull Ministry gala. Sometimes, two people keep getting thrown together, regardless of their feelings and pasts.Category: Completed Short Stories
This was fantastically written and the plot was very original. I also liked the idea that this was not their first encounter and moreover that they were both okay with this particular instance when they discovered each other's identities... Draco's last line was both intriguing and satisfying. I only have one quip and that was Draco's asking Ginny for a kiss, I don't know, but for me that read more Neville than Draco...
Author's Response: Ah, Draco\'s request. Yes, that\'s slightly passive for Draco, but you have to remember that he did that when he was dancing with someone he thought he didn\'t know. I imagine Draco is a bit more circumspect in public, especially if the possible consequence is public humiliation.
In her nightmares he comes to her.Category: Works in Progress
Actually, this makes a lot of sense. It was so emotionally jarring and intriguing. It was beautiful like the most magnificent painting and yet too sad to linger upon. That's the way I felt reading this and although it may have more to do with personal experience than anything else, the fact that you affected me so deeply speaks greatly to your talent as a writer. I understand that sometimes, a story simply stops, and I don't think you should apologize one more time. These pieces were more than enough to both placate and please and you must know how much we appreciate them.
"It was a war, and he was determined to see her back down first." ~ Written for the D/G smutakkah 2006.Category: Completed Short Stories
Oooo, this was very sexy. I loved the banter, it was equally humorous and arousing. The plot was very clever. Most of all I loved Ginny's fiery personality. It's nice to see a Ginny that can stand up to Malfoy. It's makes for one hell of a combination!
*DH SPOILERS* Theorizing that one could time travel within his own lifetime, Dr. Sam Beckett stepped into the Quantum Leap accelerator and vanished ....Category: Works in Progress
I don't usually read cross-overs as they always seem a bit silly to me. But this was an excellent idea! Quantum Leap is one of my all time favorite shows and using it to change DH is absolutely brilliant!!! Can't wait to see what you do with it! :D
Already this is wonderful! Fred is alive! It can't get any better than that... Oh wait, it can: Draco and Ginny must end up together! How long do you think this fic will be?
*DH Spoilers* For Severus Snape, who should have had a chance with the girl he loved.Category: Completed Short Stories
And for Draco and Ginny, who deserved a much better ending.
Awww! I liked this a lot! I love how you paralleled Ginny and Draco's past with Lily and Sev's present predicament. Combined with the brilliance of having Scorpius go by his middle name, "Sev," made this just wonderful! And oh, the subtle details about Ginny and Harry fighting and there being no passion between Draco and his nameless wife... This piece has quiet, but irrefutable D/G brilliance!
Author's Response: This is such a nice review! Thank so much for picking up on EVERYTHING I tried to tie in there. I appreciate it!
Miss Weasley,Category: Works in Progress
The War has caused a drop in the population of the wizarding world. To correct the situation, the International Confederation of Wizards is arranging marriages for every witch and wizard of age. The marriages are determined by a soul mate spell. Each couple will have to produce three children minimum. All forms of contraceptive are banned. Please come to the Ministry of Magic at 9:00 on Monday morning to be paired with your soul mate. If you do not show up to receive your fiancé(e) on the date above, you will be exiled from the wizarding world.
Sincerely,
Rufus Scrimgeour
Minister of Magic
I don't think I've ever laughed so hard. Very interesting the way you paired the couples. This would be fine as a oneshot and I'm curious to see what more chapters will bring. Excellent work!
Ginny Weasley has a secret.Category: Completed Short Stories
This was really cute. I loved the way you lead us to believe that Draco and Ginny were enemies only to spring that surprise on us at the end. I always enjoy the secret love affair fics. ;)
Boggarts reveal Ginny and Draco's greatest fears.Category: Works in Progress
I'll just say I can't remember the last time I laughed so hard! Great chapter!
Author's Response: Thank you. I love to make people laugh.
I love it! Can't wait for more!
When I’m alone, I wonder if it could have been different. I wonder if I could have been different. I wonder whether, given the right circumstances, I could have made different choices – better choices. I wonder if I could have been happy.Category: Completed Short Stories
Oh gosh. Poor Draco. This piece is just so raw and resigned. It's terrible. No, it isn't terrible, it's brilliant! But it's terrible for Draco and that last line truly made my heart clench. Very well done.
Ginny is twenty four, and the war rages on. Draco is a Death Eater, and he needs her help. Of course, he doesn't give her a choice. Now she's surrounded by the enemy. She begins to see that not everything is black and white. Can she come to terms with her new role in his life?Category: Works in Progress
I'm enjoying this a lot. The dry humor is especially refreshing. I am a little afraid of what's to come because right now things are too good to last... I can't wait to see what the sleeping arrangements are. Why do I get the feeling that one bed is all there is?
I am loving this story. The plot has such a unique twist and you surprise me in every chapter with something new. I adore Narcissa, who is just perfect and there is something very alluring about your guarded, yet gentle Draco. I am positively hooked!
Author's Response: Thank you. I like letting Narcissa be a nicer person. Draco is more complex in this fic than in my others.
What does Draco love? He contemplates it one evening. *Fluffy*Category: Completed Short Stories
Awww! Too cute! I loved all of Draco's rambling. It was very IC and very amusing! And ferret patronuses were just the perfect topper!
Author's Response: thanks. i loved that patronuses. i thought they were too funny!
*DH SPOILERS* Draco and Ginny discover that it is never too late to find true love.Category: Long and Completed
Nice! Talk about a unique plot. I love how Draco hasn't changed a bit, even in his 90's! I can't wait to see how this develops!
Author's Response: I'm glad you like it so far! Thanks for reading and for the review!
Two co-workers decide that something needs to be done about the excesses of Christmas spirit.Category: Completed Short Stories
This was very cute. I like the comraderie you created between Draco and Ginny here. I liked them as partners in crime and I loved that last line!
“I know you,” she said softly. “I know that marriage is the last thing on your mind. I don’t want you thinking I’m dying for a sparkling diamond on my finger and happily ever after and all that.”Category: Completed Short Stories
“Don’t you?” he asked simply.
How adorable! This was a perfect blend of snarkiness and sweetness; the essence of good D/G. I loved this line: “You essentially said that you wanted marriage. I decided that being married to you would be quite tolerable. I don’t understand this need for you to hear this again.” Only Draco could get away with such a line! I especially loved the end. It was perfectly timed, humorous and rounded the story out nicely. Excellent job!
Author's Response: Haha thank you. :) I just have this vision in my head of Draco\'s face while saying those lines. Something along the lines of looking at her like she\'s completely insane to be having him explain himself.
