Aaaw, that is how I always picture Draco with Ginny. Needy and pleading for her to save him, although neither of them know how she can do that. It's so raw and real and beautiful. Once again, I am awed by you. Keep up the good work.

It was beautiful, as always. I'm glad that Ginny's pregnant, should add an interesting element to the story.

I think I'm starting to understand why this is called "Lies." Poor Ginny has been so manipulated that she'll believe anything he says... The wedding should be interesting...

Oh! I knew all of that was too good to be true! Of course, something else had to crawl out of the woodwork and ruin everything or rather, Draco hid it there and now he's decided to pull it out. Goodness gracious, I can only imagine what's going to happen when the baby comes! Oh now, wait a minute. "...her world went black." Maybe there won't be a baby...

OH MY GOD! You said absolutely no happy endings and yet I would not believe you! I'm speechless,;this is fantastic. I mean, obviously it's not fantastic, but rather it's brilliantly written and so spectacularly unique. I can hardly even find the words to describe how impressed I am. Just a few days ago, I was thinking of this story and hoping you hadn't abandoned it. I'm so glad you didn't. It was really worth the wait. The end scene and epilogue are especially poignant. Draco truly did ruin Ginny and she knows it. She stated it so perfectly: "I'm a product of you." She had Ron Obliviated and felt no emotion about it or his subsequent death. And Draco is such a sociopath in this. He believes that leaving her there in that horrid bed is the best thing, even though he knows she's insane now. And the fact that good triumphed and Ginny's entire family was not dead is just the icing on top of the cake here. Draco didn't save her from anything, in fact, he did just the opposite. He damned her... I'm just speechless. This truly was amazing, Jess. Thanks so much for writing this and for sharing it with us.

Author's Response: thank you thank you thank you! i was really worried about everyone\'s reaction to my ending. i mean, it was what I wanted it to be, but let\'s face it. sometimes you have to give the people what they want too! yay! i am in such a writing mood, which is great since i have so much homework, but instead i\'m going to go work on another one of my NOT forgotten works! thank you again!

I think I may be the only person who's picked up that this is largely derived from Lost. But I think it was incredibly clever of you to relate Sayid's story to Draco. It actually makes a lot of sense. I can't wait to see where you take this.

Author's Response: Thanks! Glad you like it. In the first chapter, I did state I got the idea from that particular episode of LOST in the author\'s notes. However, I don\'t know how many people here watch LOST so i am glad you like the derivative. :)

The Vault Incident by Myanceris    (Reviews - 41)

Draco and Ginny get locked into the Malfoy vault when a Goblin has an unfortunate accident. How on earth are they going to pass the time until they are rescued...? One-shot, PWP Smutty goodness. Oh, and there is a teeny, tiny, insignificant HBP spoiler. But the only way you'd recognise it is to have read HBP. So I doubt it really counts.

Along Came A Wizard by fallenwitch    (Reviews - 642)

A bet, a wanted witch, and a magical contract land Draco in a most unexpected situation. Can his Slytherin soul survive intact or will he succumb to one redheaded witch in bondage? Snarky humor, romance, and a pinch of angst. “I don’t want it. I didn’t order it. Now leave me the fuck alone.” He slammed the door closed. Only it didn’t close due to the enormous boot wedged into its threshold. One loud grunt later and it flung back open, almost hitting him in the face. Draco reflexively leaned back, and that’s when she was thrust into his unsuspecting arms.

Wow,I read this whole story in one sitting- I couldn't tear myself away from it. Even when my stomach assaulted me with hunger pains... I must say this story has one of the most unique and gripping plots I've ever had the pleasure to read. I can't even begin to imagine what will happen next, nor do I know if I want to! It's been quite a roller coaster ride, with you playing with my heartstrings! I hope we're all rewarded with a bit of fluff in the end! In any case, I'm desperately awaiting the next installment.

Author's Response: Isn\'t this the kind of review every author hopes for? Wow. Thanks so much. Fluff? God, we could all use a bit of it right now, don\'t you think? - fallenwitch

Oh God, I could just see them there, his head cradled in her hand, that one last kiss... Goodness how do you get me to start crying with just 2 sentences? This chapter was so heartbreaking. But you know I love it! It only makes the making up more beautiful. There is going to be making up, isn't there? Please say yes! Or at least, be cryptic in a very positive way... ;D

Author's Response: Hi xNymphadoraX! Hmm... \"cryptic in a very positive way\"? Nope. Can\'t do it. Sorry. You\'ll see what I mean in the next chapter. I loved, loved your review. Thanks so much for stopping by with your thoughts! I hope you don\'t abandon us. -fallenwitch

This was absolutely heartbreaking. (I mean that in the best way, only something meagerly well written can even touch uponsad. This, with its poignant likeness to reality made me want to cry.) How is it that life hands you something you don't want and then snatches it away just when you've realized you can't live without it? It's the cruelest truth in life. Unfortunately for Draco and Ginny, it has presented itself in the most irrefutable way. I was so proud to see Draco pull himself together, to find the courage to go get Ginny and then prepare himself to lose her all over again. '"I am not the weak-hearted wizard you believe me to be."' I loved that line. Draco, despite his downfalls, is not a weak man and you have fleshed him out well enough to show all the contours of his personality. I'm almost dreading the next chapter, but I'm sure you'll lure me in and surprise me. You usually do.

Hmmm, I have to be optimistic here. I'm not going to believe that Harry has been overtaken by the oldest, darkest magic and is going to stand here and kill Draco and Snape. No, no, I refuse to believe it. He is going to open his mouth and petrify Scrimgeour or maybe kill the bastard, whichever is more convenient to the story. ;) Which is brilliant by the way, I'll be waiting on pins and needles...

Oh gosh! You haven't had my face that close to the screen since the early chapters! This is an amazing twist of events. Scrimgeour could become the next Dark Lord, Bella helped create LV... Wow, ingenious. Of course Ginny is Draco's last hope, but I wonder how she'll be able to get to him. Can't wait to see what happens next!

Reviewer: xNymphadoraX Signed

Hmm, I must admit I'm a bit confused. How did Scrimgeour get involved in all of this? I'm also a little surprised that Hermione didn't tell Harry where he could go when he ripped her away from her son like that. I guess that will become clearer once we understand why they're all in danger of Scrimgeour in the first place. I was so happy to see Ginny finally stand up to Harry, especially by way of praising Draco. ;D

So now we see why everyone is so intertwined... Very interesting. I really like that Harry overheard that conversation between Snape and Ginny. It must create some very conflicting thoughts in his mind! I loved when Harry said he was sorry that Malfoy has to be Ginny's first and not him. The wording is very subtle here and yet very meaningful. It's reminiscent of the Harry we saw in earlier chapters when we were all so afraid Harry and Ginny would sleep together. I think this must have been the time when he decided that he wanted Ginny. Particularly because Draco entered the picture. It's as if he could only begin to appreciate Ginny when he realized that he might lose her to his enemy. Brilliant. Absolutely brilliant.

Well, it figures Harry wouldn't listen to Snape. He never has. And besides I really don't see any other way for this to be played out. What else were they supposed to do? It's amazing how the one order member who would have stopped this is no where to be found. I can't remember whether or not Ron even knows about this plan. I remember when he was looking for Ginny and he came to Azkaban, but I don't recall whether or not he was aware of the plan. Wow, can't wait until Ron reappears. Should be interesting...

Poor Draco. It must be truly horrible to watch the hatching of a plan which enevitably lost him his soul... That's a real (pardon my french) mind-fuck... Anyhoo, I love the turn this story has taken. Who would have thought back in chapter one that motives would be so complex, pain would run so deep and the outcome could be so life-changing for so many people? I was just wondering if you knew from the very beginning that you wanted to bring the story to this place because now that you're starting to bring up things from past chapters, everything ties in so well and is so seamless. I can't even begin to imagine how this is going to end...

Reviewer: xNymphadoraX Signed
Date: Jul 01, 2006 Title: Chapter 50: Chapter 50

Hmmm... Well, you've told me not to be afraid and so I'll try not to be, but I honestly have to say, I was warming up to Harry in this chapter and now I'm worried. I'm thinking if the obvious meaning of Harry's words is misleading then what he must mean when he said he wanted her is that he wanted to love her. And why wouldn't Harry want to love Ginny? She's a Weasley (therefore he would officially become part of the only family he's ever known), she's conveniently there and after everything Harry has lost in his life I could see how he would want to be in love. I dunno, but I'm real nervous now...

Reviewer: xNymphadoraX Signed
Date: Jun 30, 2006 Title: Chapter 49: Chapter 49

Well, at least the noble part of Harry is still in there somewhere- he knew that he shouldn't be taking advantage of Ginny's vulneranility. I really appreciated that because I think even if Harry were furious with her, he wouldn't do something that cruel.

Reviewer: xNymphadoraX Signed
Date: Jun 29, 2006 Title: Chapter 48: Chapter 48

You know, I must confess I really haven't liked your Harry in this story and not just because he's being a bastard but because I thought he was incredibly OOC. But I must say, after reading this chapter I'm starting to see how after such events had transpired, our Harry could become this man. He's really in quite a predicament. He's responsible for the fate of the entire wizarding world (or so he feels) and he's lost the only power he ever had over Lord Voldemort; or rather he's had it stolen from him by Hermione. I can see how he would be even more furious with Ginny because he loved her and she knew it was a hoax but she just let it continue. Now he's watching everyone around him die and there's nothing he can do. So, I definitely think it's plausible that he would get Ginny to do this. I mean it's really that or nothing, isn't it? They would have lost- they would have all died...

Love the flashbacks by the way, I always love a story which doesn't reveal it's secrets until the end because it makes you think you understand but really, you never did... You're brilliant.

Reviewer: xNymphadoraX Signed
Date: Jun 28, 2006 Title: Chapter 47: Chapter 47

Well, now I'm starting to understand why this entire plan was concocted in the first place. I kept saying to myself in earlier chapters, "Why is Draco so important?" "Why did they have to do this to Ginny just to get to Draco?" I think I can see where you're going with it now and it really is quite clever, although I never expect anything less from you! I am so impressed with the speed at which these chapters have been coming out and I hope you know how much we all appreciate it.

Also, I had forgotten about Andrew and his brother entirely so kudos for mentioning them. As a matter of fact, anything else you'd like to mention from previous chapters would be received with great enthusiasm!

Goodness gracious. I didn't know you'd been updating, so I had 5 chapters to read and boy was it something to read! First of all, Hermione's heartache was one of the most powerful parts of this story. So sad and real and just wow. I can definitely see how she was driven to make the choice to leave Snurk behninf but I can only imagine what it must have been like for him to wake up alone. I wish Ron was here. Speaking of Ron- where is Ron? I think I've lost track of a lot of this story in my mind. I guess I'll have to go back and reread. Anyway, I loved the end of this chapter. We all know Draco is still head over heels for Ginny, I've just been waiting for him to give in a bit, just show her... I loved it!
