Two and a half years after his failure to kill Albus Dumbledore, Draco has long been accepted back into the ranks of the Death Eaters. He is still obsessively searching for the rebel Ginny Weasley, but he hides that secret well. When she is found one snowy December night, he smuggles her onto the Death Eaters? train with him. And he begins to learn that nothing will ever be the same again?Category: Works in Progress
How evil, to end it here! I'm so anxious to see what Ron reveals to Draco and what they find in this mystical library. I really feel for Ginny; it's hard when you can't have the one thing you want most, it's hard to do without it... Anyway, I'm as intrigued as ever. Can't wait for the next update!
Wow, I've just sat and read all the recent updates. I'm so glad I got to read them successively; some of those cliffs were far too steep for me!
So much to say.... Firstly, I find it very interesting that Harry has lost his mind. I really feel that given the amount of stress he grew up with (first the Dursley's and then the prophecy and Voldemort) there is no way he could have come out of it completely sane. I'm enjoying seeing that side of him.
Next, your imagery of the library is amazing. I'm awed by your ability to conceive of something so intricate and your talent to convey it so vividly.
Luna was a wonderful addition to the story. I like that she turned out to be Draco's cousin and thus the important female relative we need. Very creative! I can't wait to see that pan out and especially what happened next on that parchment!
One quirk: Ron. I know Ron is not a patient man, a planner, or a thinker so to speak. But I felt that everything I love about Ron (his courage, his loyalty, his sweetness...) is quite lost. Of course, given everything he's been through he would have changed, but that's exactly my point. He's 21 and I don't see a lot of maturity in his actions or especially his words. But to each writer, her own Ron.
I did get a little confused after Draco awoke to find Death by his bedside. How is it that in the next chapter he was suddenly holding a piece of very helpful parchment?
I can't wait for the next set of updates; it seems as if we're drawing toward a very dramatic close. I can't imagine what's going to happen but I try not to think about it; I'd much rather read what your wonderful mind comes up with. :)

Awww, this was an incredibly sweet story. I especially enjoyed Ginny and Draco's letters. I'd love to see a little sequel of the afternoon of December 31st!
Author's Response: There will be more, never fear! ;)
Category: Completed Short StoriesA triumph of bad taste, this stupid, dreadful, and hastily thrown-together thing began as a post in ARGH, and went from there. Basically, we were all arguing that Harry saving Ginny in the CoS did not foreshadow eternal deathless twu wuv, because, well, he’s saved a lot of people. My twisted little mind then wondered, “Hmm… what if the same thing had to be true of everyone’s Harry ever saved?” And this was born…
Oh dear! What an imagination you have! Seriously amusing, and for the little they say, everyone is extremely in character. Snape's lines especially, brought me to tears with laughter.

I'm not gonna stand here and wait.
I'll hold onto the wings of the eagle,
watch as they all fly away...
This is a short and bittersweet songfic.
Wow, that was incredibly unexpected. For a moment, I even thought Draco was dead, but for Ginny to be watching the entire seen, from outside her own body, was incredibly inspired. I can't believe more people haven't reviewed, this was brilliant!

Tomorrow, he thought, as he looked down at her battle-ravaged face. It begins tomorrow."
A short ficlet based on a drabble I wrote a long time ago. After the final battle, Ginny seeks comfort and Draco is there for her.
I liked this fic a lot. I enjoyed it's cryptic nature, and fantastically vivid imagery. I love a good angsty fic and this one is especially touching. Ginny's pain is so raw and Draco's response to her is just so... genuine. I adored it.
Author's Response: Thank you! This is a new style of writing for me, and I\'m pleased it worked out so well.
Harry Potter defeats Lord Voldemort, and the wizarding world rejoices. Ginny Weasley's hopes and dreams seem to come true, at last; Draco Malfoy's end in Azkaban prison. But there is more to life than the obvious choices, and as Ginny and Draco struggle to redefine themselves in a post-war world, a chance encounter leads to more than either of them could ever have imagined...Category: Long and Completed
Wow, I just stumbled upon this story and I must say, I'm quite hooked! I love your rendition of Draco and Ginny, it's unlike the usual characterizations we usually see of them and yet I feel it's closer to canon than most stories I've read. The plot is unfolding just marvelously and I can't wait to see what happens next.
Author's Response: Thank you, I\'m glad to hear it :) I try to stay as close to their canon personalities as I can, which isn\'t always easy *g* so I\'m happy that you think I\'ve been successful so far.
Wow, even though I suspected Draco would twist the contract that way, I wasn't sure you would actually do it! I adored this chapter. It was so sweet and real. You could have just made her give him an answer but the fact that she chose to think about it, makes it more realistic. I loved when Ginny imagined how he would react to a "no" but then wondered how he would react to "yes"- what a sweet line... I'm desperately hanging off the edge of my seat for her answer- I hope it's a yes! Now *that* would be an interesting twist and I'd love to see Ron's reaction!
OH! I'm so excited! I'm singing, "Ginny's going to marry Draco...." Can't wait for the next chapter!
I have thoroughly enjoyed this fic. I loved your Draco, he was exactly the way I see him. This last scene was an especially good read because it was literally their blood sweat and tears, their love and hate for each other wrapped up in this heated sexual encounter- I adored it! Can't wait for the sequel!
Sequel to Hero. Draco mourns the loss of his loved one. Draco/GinnyCategory: Completed Short Stories
You've done a wonderful job conveying the overwhelming feelings that come with loss. Especially that gut wrenching thought that it's just over and they'll never be with you again. It was beautiful...
Every time Ginny and Draco get together, he disappears, leaving her with a broken heart. This time, she is determined not to give into him. **Fluffy, AU**Category: Completed Short Stories
Aaaww, you have brought ther biggest Kool-Aid smile to my face with this fic. It's got just the right amount of fluff. I adored the shower scene- it was brilliant the way you incorporated a memory with present events. Another wonderful fic...
Hogwarts is shattered by the news that someone tried to commit suicide. A recount of Ginevra Weasley's last year, what drove her to suicide and everything that she left behind. Pre-HBPCategory: Works in Progress
Oh my goodness, that was intense. I think you're doing an impeccable job of unfolding the plot and the pace is absolutely perfect. I know this because I am filled with an overwhelming sense of anxiety and dread- which is fine! I'll be desperately awaiting the next installment.
I don't think Draco's indifferent at all. You clearly explain his thoughts and feelings throughout; just because he's trying to keep his composure doesn't mean he isn't felling anything. I think you're doing an excellent job and I can't wait to read the next chapter. I'm wondering, about how many chapters do you think this will have?

Ooooo, I liked that very much. It was both well written and entertaining. The ending was very sweet! Loved it!
Author's Response: You make me blush. Thank you for the kind words, I\'m glad you enjoyed it.
Draco and Pansy like to play games. What happens when a Polyjuice Plan goes wrong?Category: Works in Progress
This is very cute! The plot is original and spunky and I can't wait to see what Draco does next!
Author's Response: Thank you for the review. I think plucky is a good description.
Ginny goes for a little walk after a quidditch match.Category: Completed Short Stories
Hmph! I just wrote you a review and it disappeared when I clicked submit! Anyway, I had said something to the effect of, Ginny was very spunky and very IC. That men are thick and it was amazing that he thought a line that worked on Narcissa Malfoy, would work on Ginny, and that the, "cut off your balls and make you eat them," thing was absolutely hilarious and I'll have to use it someday... Hope this is just as effective...
Sequel to Break in the sun (till the sun breaks down). For a few blissful hours, the differences between them did not matter. But as Draco and Ginny struggle with their budding relationship, they must soon discover that many things separate them still - family, friends and society as well as their own explosive tempers. The future they want for themselves comes at a price, and reconciling what they each want out of life is a challenge that might just break them apart...Category: Works in Progress
Oh gosh, that last scene with the music box gave me chills. He repaired it and yet, it made no sound... Very metaphorical. Anyhoo, I liked the way you described Draco's return to Azkaban and how it was affecting him. It was very realistic. I can't wait to see Ginny in the next chapter, I have a feeling she's avoiding Draco for a reason...
Author's Response: I liked describing it again, now that he\'s out - he is so different from who he was when he was imprisoned, and I thought that showed nicely, in that chapter :) Thank you for reviewing!
I must say, I am thoroughly impressed with your Percy. So many writers tend to turn him into this one dimensional prick, when really, everyone has motives for their behavior and they believe that they're valid, even if they aren't You really made that clear with Percy and it gave him an enormous amount of depth. Narcissa was brilliant, as always! Just had to mention that, now I'm off to the next chapter!
Author's Response: Thank you! I\'m happy you liked him :) I tried to give his actions some justification, in a weird, Percy way :) After all, he had to believe he was doing the right thing, didn\'t he? I don\'t think any Weasley would be so malicious as to have a big fight with their family over something they weren\'t really sure about. Anyway, thanks!
Aaaw, that was precious and perfect. I must say, Ginny was really starting to get on my nerves. No matter what kind of man Lucius is, he is Draco's father. How could she not understand his wanting to get his father out of prison? Anyhoo, this was a lovely installment and now you've got me thinking about the next generation of Malfoys. It just seems kinda weird to have Malfoys in Gryffindor, even if they are freckly, red-haired vixens like their Mum. I always picture Draco's kids being fiery, self assured, smart-alecky Slytherins who are the perfect combo of mum and dad. But seriously how could anyone raised by Draco not be pompous enough to be a Slytherin?
Author's Response: I agree - Malfoys don\'t belong anywhere but Slytherin. It\'s family tradition, after all *g* And no kid of Draco\'s could ever be Gryffindor material, lol! I\'m glad you liked this - yes, it took Ginny a while to come around, but she did, in the end :) And that\'s what counts, right? Thank you for reviewing!
I always enjoy reading different author's interpretations of what a wizard wedding would be like. Personally, the idea of an unbreakable vow as part of the ceremony just seems natural and I like the idea a lot. I'm glad that Ginny likes it too! There is nothing more beautiful than making a promise to love and cherish someone until the day you die, or in this case, so you don't die...
Author's Response: I think so, yes - there must be some kind of magical ritual at a wizarding wedding, and the Vow makes sense, imo. It\'s really risky, of course, so I\'d imagine that there\'s also something less binding, but Draco is the type to go to extremes *g* Thanks for reviewing!

That was lovely. It was simple and sweet and yet, still quite intricate in it's plot and diction. Thanks for a great read!
How would things be different if Draco had accepted Dumbledore's mercy at the end of book six? Follow the canon characters as they are forced into company with Draco and struggle to survive in a warring wizarding world. And yes, there will be romance.Category: Works in Progress
Marvelous, marvelous! Do you think we could get JK to replace this scene with hers? No? *sigh* This really was perfect, exactly the way I would imagine events to play out if Draco had acted faster (I do believe he was about to give in). Anyhoo, so far your Harry seems forgiving, I hope he stays that way!
Author's Response: I wish she would! But then I would have nothing to write about. Haha. And I do enjoy writing it, so I guess I won\'t bug the great Rowling about it. Harry probably will continue to be forgiving, but it may often be a two steps forward one step backward sort of deal. We\'ll see.
Your Draco is a very unique one. We're used to sarcastic, suave Draco and condescending, bully Draco. But yours has a new level of depth, a frailty which is very humanizing and still very believable. Excellent!
Author's Response: I love these kinds of reviews! Not because they\'re so positive (though of course I don\'t mind that either--haha), but because you tell me WHAT you liked about it, not just THAT you did. It really is very helpful. And it\'s great to have the readers analyze the characters... it helps the writer to step back and view the story through different eyes. I\'m glad my Draco is believable! Thanks for a great review! :)
