This was funny and cute. The dialogue was fantastic.

Author's Response: Thank you. I do enjoy dialogue so much more than long descriptions.

This story is great. I like the building of Draco's and Ginny's relationship. Serena is just darling; just what you think the offspring of a Draco/Ginny pairing would be. I've read a couple of stories where I wasn't too fond of Ginny's family, but I must say you may be at the top with how you're portraying Molly. Keep up the good work! Look forward to the next update.

Author's Response: I wrote a few stories in which the Weasley family, well Molly, became the big enemy, none published but this one. I do adore Molly Weasley. So, perhaps, just maybe, I'll make her realize her huge mistake. I'm not very sure. I'm pretty undecided on this fact.

This was a great chapter. My favorite part- Draco getting rid of Tracey. I can't see him putting up with someone like her for too long. Your Pansy is great. Keep up the good work.

This was such a sweet chapter. I'm really enjoying this story. I like both your characters and the storyline. Can't wait for the next update. Ginny has some feelings for Draco; perhaps Draco has some feelings also?

Author's Response: Mm, well, I do love my twists and turns. So, we will see what happens. I'm glad you love the characters though as it has taken me a while to actually get the nerve to publish a fanfiction, though I write them often. I mean I always think my Draco is too mean or too sweet, which I think he has one of in this story. I can never get the write balance. Damn, Draco and his stuborness to be an easy character to write!

Ohhhh you're so evil. Thanks for the quick update, but now I need (not want) another update. It ended so sad. I'm feeling for both D & G right now. Ginny went through hell after she thought her baby had died; blaming herself, having no one to share her pain with-not even her family. But I see Draco's side too. I'm sure his parents reminded him constantly about his mistake- "He keeps ranting on and on about some mistake Father made while in school." And not to mention having to listen to people talk sh** about his daughter being born out of wedlock. And his pride.... come on, we may think he's being a prat but his arrogance and pride is one of the things we (I) love about him. And I've known women to voice the same feelings as he is, even so far as having to deal with a crying baby 24hour a day. You did a fantastic job on this chapter. The emotions were so real and raw. My one consolation is that Draco won't be sleeping any better than I will. If he was much a cold-hearted b&stard as he's pretending to be, he wouldn't have kept a picture of Ginny to tell Serena about her; or at least that's what I think.

Author's Response: You're correct on the being evil and loving Draco for his arrogance and pride. And yes, Draco is well within his rights to let out a little bit of his anger as is Ginny, more sadness on her part. And as for Draco being a bastard, well, we all know he's a big bunny on the inside, kidding. But I'm sure he didn't sleep too fantastic...

Great chapter and thanks for the quick updates. It's good that he "cares" for her but doesn't "love her" at this point. They had a physical relationship but there's no indication it was anything more than that. This is more realistic. Also I love that her brothers are by her side; although I noticed Ma and Pa Weasley aren't there. Maybe this will be how Mr. Weasley starts to rebuild his relationship with Ginny.

I know this is wrong, but I kinda want Serena to get a hold of Tracey. She's a mix of Draco and Ginny which means between her temper and ability to hex she should be more than a match for Tracey; darn, if only she had a wand. If not Serena than how about a beat down from Pansy, and two pregnant women-Luna & Hermione. (Bad, bad, Dracogirl for advocating violence. ^_^)

Author's Response: Ginny's parents are complicated characters in this story. They'll be making appearances soon, though. Of that I am sure of. As for Tracey's beat down, well, let's just say I will have total and extreme fun with it. Advocating violence is the way to go, by the way. Life wouldn't be as much fun if we all got along as lovely as it would be.

I always enjoy when I see that you have updated. I love the interaction between the characters. The banter when everyone was in the bakery was great. I know I said it before, but I really love how her brothers have rallied around her; and also how they have even tried to foster something with Draco-even if it's for Serena and Ginny.

The kiss was a surprise; the Sleeping Beauty part was cute. The biggest surprise for this chapter (I was as shocked as Bill), Draco would have married Ginny if he had known about her being pregnant. Yay Draco!!

Author's Response: Draco believes in family and he knows he has a duty to his family. As for Ginny and her brothers, well they're her brothers and they'll do anything, except maybe kiss Draco, for her.

So it will be the men, not the women, who extract revenge. Darn, no beat-down for Tracey. =( I noticed (well Bill did too) how unhappy Draco was with the thought of an ex-boyfriend of Ginny's guarding her. And I think it's sweet that Lucius is warming up to Ginny. This is a great story and thank you for the updates.

Author's Response: Well, we'll see who gets revenge in the end. You never know.

I loved this chapter. Yes! Yes! Tracey got what she deserved, too bad she won't remember what Ginny and Team Weasley/Malfoy did to her. The parts with Draco and Ginny were sweet. I think he's starting to realize what Luna said was true-that what he's feeling (for Ginny)is not enough to get married, but it is enough to ask someone on a date. They both seem confused and scared right now. By the way; the flashback was....steamy.

Author's Response: Don't worry. She will experience irrational fear as you will come to see in a later chapter...that's a spoiler though. Shhh!

This story is getting better and better. I loved their conversation on the balcony, their banter was great. He was caring- "No. If we were speaking of worth you're far better in that catagory."; and lustful(which could be a good thing especially in Draco)-"Mmm you shouldn't blush like that in front of me. Brings back lovely memories of where that blush spreads." :)

The breakfast scene was great also; the Weasleys and Malfoys interacting was great. Thanks for the updates

Author's Response: Yes, Draco is full of lust...A wonderful thing that date will be.

This was great!!!
No there wasn't too much smut; but then again if it's written well, there is no such thing as too much smut. Oh and Draco with a tattoo?? OMG-so hot!! Thanks for the update.

(P.S. I hope everything is okay and thinks remain normal):D

Author's Response: Thanks, everything is remaining normal so far. And yes, smut, how I love it. I'm starting to believe the no such thing as too much smut statement after reading some of these reviews. People seem to really enjoy it. Yay, I'm not the only one! LOL.

I absolutely love this story. This chapter was great. Serena is wonderful; I love how you can see Draco and Ginny's personalities in her. (I'm guessing she has more Draco because she's been around him longer)

Your supporting characters are great. Of course Serena :) but also Pansy, Narcissa and Lucius. By the way he was great in this chapter; I love how he was able to make Ginny feel better about Serena. I like the twist with Molly and her reasoning for doing what she did; I still don't agree with what she did. Of course now I'm kind of wondering who she was suppose to marry; Lucius maybe??? I hope not, it will cause too much trouble.

Draco and Ginny were so cute in this chapter. Not falling madly in love (yet), but enjoying and dealing with a growing relationship. Can't wait for you to update.

Author's Response: You know, a lot of people think it will turn out to be Lucius. I didn't really expect to have to elaborate more on that. I suppose people are curious. I'll have to make a note to clear all of that up in the future. Molly is a complicated creature at this moment, hard to write too. On one hand, I would rather Ginny not bother with her. On the other, I want them to make up. Ahhh, the confusion.

Such a sweet chapter. I love the interaction between Draco and his new extended family. The way they tease and joke is so heart-warming, especially given their past history. I like the maturity Draco shows in realizing that the Weasleys would have been there had he reached out to them; not because I want him to feel guilty for what he did 'cause I think he tried the best he could, but because I like how far they (yes even Ron) have come-all for Serena and Ginny.

I have two big questions after reading this chapter: What has Serena so relieved that Ginny and Draco aren't dating? and What the h*ll is Warrington going to do? -Please don't make me cry :(

Author's Response: In the next chapter, Draco speaks about his maturity very briefly. The Weasleys and Malfoys have one common bond, Serena. I really want to show how one common thing, one single person, can bring together two families that have always hated each other. As for your questions, they'll be answered in future chapters. Serena being relieved about her parents not dating is in the next chapter.

A wonderful chapter, it really kept a smile on my face. From Draco having to go the balcony to 'hide' the evidence of his appreciation for Ginny's attire- to Ginny and Luna's teasing about their times at Hogwarts. I can't wait for the next chapter.

Author's Response: I did my best to interject some humor. I love that people genuinely like my attempt at humor.

This was such an emotionally draining chapter for me. I know Luna feels bad and I hope she, Draco and Blaise can work through this.

Serena is six (going on thirty-six) so of course she's going to blow things out of proportion; do they take kids out to the woodshed in the HP universe? I was really scared that Warrington or Davis was going to find her before the Malfoys or Weasleys did.

I know Draco and Ginny have a lot of things to work out both with each other as well as internal issues. I hope you don't drag it out too long. You have done a great job writing the D/G interaction. Whether they're trying to be good parents, friends or lovers it's fantastic.

This is a great story; I may say many times because it is.

Author's Response: I don't think Draco has a woodshed...the Weasleys might. Oh, they may have a broom shed. I'm glad I managed to convey that fear to the readers though. It was definitely one of my goals. They do have some things they have to work out. Just keep in mind that I love writing DG interactions, especially smut scenes, as much as everyone loves to read them. Thank you for your review. I do appreciate it a lot.

Thank You! Thank You!
What a wonderful Christmas Present. I just love this chapter. You have portrayed such fantastic chemistry between Draco and Ginny. Not just the sexual thing-which is seriously hot-but their banter; their budding relationship/friendship; and starting to care for one another, not just as the parent of a child they love, but as a person.

I was smiling this entire chapter..okay
maybe I wasn't happy that D/G still haven't worked things out, but it was so funny and cute and fluffy and sexy I couldn't help but love it.

Enjoy your Christmas Holidays!!

Author's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed it! Yes, Draco and Ginny are beginning to realize exactly what they've gotten themselves into.

Thank you so much for the update :) I actually read this several days ago but realized today I hadn't let you know how
wonderful it was.

I loved the interaction between Draco, Ginny and Serena in this chapter even when they were arguing about raising Serena. The scene with Ginny and Serena in her bedroom was nice. Serena can be a handful but you convey really well how
much she loves her daddy and you could see how much she loves her mommy here.

I love their banter throughout this, it was witty and flirty-
"The things required for an island vacation are rather miniscule," Ginny said, an imitation of Draco's smirk appearing on her lips when he glared at her.

"Are you planning on doing that all weekend?" snapped Draco.

"I don't know what you're talking about," Ginny said innocently. "I'm not doing anything."
^^^^
"I suppose you have no urges to shag me then?" asked Draco after a moment of silence.

"What?"

"The last time you played in water and talked about your brother, we shagged and conceived Serena." Draco raised an eyebrow. "Having any of those urges?"

Ginny couldn't help but to laugh. "No, I can't say I am."

"Liar," Draco murmured, his eyes flashing. "I can read you like a book, Ginevra. Don't forget it."

Suddenly uncomfortable, Ginny said, "I better go get dressed."

"Don't mind me," Draco replied with a grin.

***************
I think I know what Draco was going to say when he said "Not for—" or at least I know what I am hoping he was going to say.

I can't wait until the second part of their vacation. I know Ginny doesn't want casual sex, but I would LOVE to read about some 'sex on the beach' - and not the drink :)

Author's Response: You'll get to see what he was going to say in the next chapter. Ginny will bring it up. I know that a lot of people have pretty much hit the nail on the head in regards to that though. So, I have no doubt that you probably did as well. LOL. I love your sex on the beach line. It was hilarious. I'm glad you liked the Serena/Ginny interaction too as it is very important to my story. Thanks for the review!

I loved this chapter; this part of their vacation was great. I'm starting to like Serena again. She's a sweet girl whose father and grandparents let her have way too much and get away with her temper tantrums for too long. But they really make a lovely family; the family scenes were great. It was interesting that Draco thought about what he and Ginny talked about regarding Serena wanting a parrot...how she was 'almost daring him to say no'. And I liked how they told Serena about their various punishments as children - 'Ginny and Draco both entertained Serena with stories of various punishments they underwent in their youth. By the time they reached the top, Serena was ready to vow never to misbehave again because her parents knew too many terrible punishments.' The
family standing on the cliff, Serena talking about a 'little brother or sister' and their arms brushing against each other. I had a smile on my face because I could just see the picture they made.

I was pleasantly surprised by Draco's "Birthday present" to Ginny. I didn't fault her or find her weak for doing something she wanted even though she tried to rationalize it. She had been thinking about it for a month and Draco even gave her a chance to back out - "You're sure?" No he's not as connected to his feelings as we the readers or more importantly Ginny would hope. But she knows he cares, even if he doesn't want her to know and maybe hasn't fully admitted it to himself. The women he was with previously didn't expect him to say why he was sorry as long as he did it with expensive gifts. I think on some level he knows he cares but isn't use to talking about it because of what he said last chapter "Not for -" before stopping himself. And when she tells him she did come for him "for us" he's shell-shocked. Probably because he's so Slytherin he thinks he's fooling her.

Author's Response: Yay, Serena love. I love when people love Serena. The family moments are essential to the story. It is coming to an end soon, and these are ways to show how far they've come from Draco's reluctance to have Ginny take part in their lives. I'm glad you didn't think Ginny weak because that isn't at all how I wanted her to come off. And you're right about him struggling with showing his feelings. It's difficult for him because it isn't something he's used to. Thanks for the review! -Ann

I sooooo need a cup of herbal tea right now. You're right, I can't kill you because I have to see how this ends. Great job bring Michael to the beach; jealousy always helps Draco gain some clarity - "Michael, a word," Draco ordered, not bothering to wait for Michael to answer.

And cunning Ginny is always fun - "You've been hanging out with too many Slytherins."/"What are you talking about?" asked Ginny, innocently eating a piece of strawberry.

I was scared that something awful was going to happen to Luna and/or her baby
but then it was something sweet - "this is the best gift ever. What more could I ask of you except for my goddaughter to be born on my birthday?"

Draco did some growing, he and Ginny sharing a look about Serena; him being concerned about how Ginny would deal with Luna's birth not being able to hold Serena herself and thinking about Ginny caring about him.

I was so happy; then what did you do!!??
Bring Warrington in the picture out of the blue (which I would say was brilliant if I wasn't so distraught) to ruin everything. If there was a silver lining in this dark cloud it was Draco's other clarity tool coming forward; anger and possession - "I'll kill whoever took them from me, Mother, with my bare hands," Draco said vehemently. He said THEM!!! YEA!!

Author's Response: Did the tea help? I think that I did sort of set it up to seem as if something would happen to Luna, but baby and mommy are healthy. Yes, Draco and Ginny certainly have progressed a lot since their first meeting. Yes, Warrington did come out of the blue for all of you (rhyme) but not for me. I've had this planned since the beginning, and I wanted him to be forgotten. :) Thanks for reviewing!

I was so happy to see an update, thank you. I was so scared for Ginny, in fact I'm still scared. I hope she recovers quickly and there's no lasting damage. I also hope Draco somehow heard what Warrington said about Tracey. Please feel free to inflict further torture onto Warrington.

Author's Response: Ah, Warrington will get his due whether by the hands of the Malfoy or the law, I shall not say for now. Thanks for the review!
