I'm a rabid fan of anything Draco, Ginny, or Luna and any combination of the above. I beta for a couple of Draco/Ginny fics, but haven't yet writen anything I can post here.

Besides that I'm obsessed with all things Japanese (especially Dir en grey, a slightly deranged Japanese rock band), musicals (Rent and Wicked are currently fighting over the top spot on my list of obsessions.), and emo boys kissing.

Draco and Ginny had a "moment" in the past that resulted in... another person. A person whose Malfoyishness was always mistaken for Weasley spunk.

Quite amusing. Though, I was disappointed that Tracey didn't ever get a partner. (Not counting the banana here.) But that's because I'm less than straight and slash about everything I see so I tend to hold it out for my own kind.

I actually don't think Goyle was that OOC. I tend to be one of those people who want to see the good in everyone, even if I don't trust them to show it all the time. (I've even had my times when I desperately want to turn Voldemort around and have him working for the good side only to realize that there would no longer be any kind of a fight.)Anyway, I like to see Goyle as being more intelligent than he lets on, and you did give a good reason for him to do so.

While a couple other characters might have been slightly OOC, it's hard to tell because they are characters we don't know enough about to get a firm grip on. This means the author is almost completely free to show them in whatever light they want to.

Sorry, but, How do you put italics into your story? I'm BETAing for someone who needs to and can't figure out how. I know it's a pain, but as you've already figured it out, I thought it wouldn't be that hard for you to explain. I'd really appricaite an email at priorincantatem@gmail.com.

Author's Response: haha Thanks for your review! I basically used HTML in typing up my story. For Italics: < i > your text here < / i > (It should be w/o the spaces, but I\'m not sure if that\'ll translate via this review: your text here To make something bold, replace the \"i\" w/ a \"b.\" Hrmm... I was under the impression by the last of the sixth book that Harry didn't plan to tell anyone but Hermione and Ron (and maybe he told Ginny, I'm not sure) about the Horocruxes. You're welcome to have everyone know in your fic, after all, it's yours, but you should probably explain what led Harry to tell everyone.

Author's Response: Yeah, you\'re probably right. Hadn\'t thought about that but oh well, like you said, it\'s my fic and its mainly about Draco and Ginny anyway so hopefully I can just get away with it this time. I guess I am assuming he told most people right after he told them about Dumbledore\'s letter.

I didn't understand this sentence in Draco's third paragraph (just after the first 'x')

"No underclassmen, and he meant none, had ever hexed him with anything harmless, much less harmful."

Author's Response: He was thinking about the nasty hex Ginny hit him with in his fifth year. Since she is younger than him, that would make her and underclassman- probably not a term they would use in Europe, I don\'t know but I am beta-less at the moment so I have no one to correct such mistakes besides the Cabal. Also, Draco may have been hexed by someone younger than him at school, but I am assuming he wasn\'t. And by harmless- it could be something like a little tripping jinx. Ginny\'s bat-bogey was harmful. Harry hit him with that SectumSempra but Harry is in the same class, so he wouldn\'t be an underclassman. Does that make sense?

Yay, finally an original circumstance. I must say I've never read a fic where Voldemort is in complete power (though I'm sure others exist, I've never read one).

My only criticism is that I'd like more on why Draco wanted to fall away. I'm not saying he needs some miraculous "turning point in my life" story. I'm just saying you need a reason. All you'd need to do is mention that he had never really agreed with his father, or that Snape had led him after sixth year and taught him (that would require a good Snape), or whatever. You just need to make sure your characters are real and part of that is making sure there are believable motives behind their actions.

Author's Response: Well don\'t worry, I definitely plan to do that. But the fic is very much from Ginny\'s Point of View so I didn\'t want to introduce too much of Draco too quickly. Draco is a very private sort of person so he\'s not going to reveal all his deep dark secrets within the first few hours of \'meeting\' Ginny. All will be revealed in due course...

Okay so my question is: which one of them is the one night stand? Or is Ginny just flighty?

Anyway, I think this is good, and a good issue to deal with. I like it when people are willing to take the load of putting real world problems into fics. But I like depressing stories. Life is depressing, and that's what makes it so wonderful: when you realize that somewhere hidden in the darkness is something happy.

Wow, wasn't that eloquent now. ^_^

Author's Response: Okay, so my answer to your question is: you\'ll have to read and see. It will all come together in the end. =D Thanks for the review! Yes, I do agree that life is depressing - and that we shouldn\'t hide it. Yupyup, very eloquent. Once agin, thanks for the review!

Luna is a little OOC. She's my favorite character in the series so I'm a little bit of an arse about it. She's talking about stuff that, generally, she wouldn't even talk about. But, re-reading the following sentence, I realized that might have been your intent.

"She didn't see Luna jump as if waking from a dream, and shake her head as if to clear the cobwebs from it."

If you do mean for her to be acting normally though, you should probably have her a little more dreamy saying things more like "I don't see why you minded so much. He's quite good looking. " In a sort of Luna matter-of-fact voice as opposed to the more normal seeming "I don't understand what the problem is, Ginny. You were kissed by one of the hottest guys in school, he initiated it, and you're upset why?".

I really can’t write her as well as I’d like to be able to, but I do think I can tell pretty decently when she’s not right.

Author's Response: Thank you so much for your offer of beta! I just might take you up on that offer! As for Luna, I really like your suggestion and I see how much more like Luna that is! I\'m not that god at writing Luna either and I really appreciate the advice but I wrote her that way for a reason. If that reason falls through in the rest of the fic then I\'ll revert to the normal Luna behavior. I\'d also like to thank you for the review in general! I always love it when my readers give me advice/criticism (no matter the popular belief!). So thank you! Keep a look out for a new chapter real soon!

Along Came A Wizard by fallenwitch    (Reviews - 642)

A bet, a wanted witch, and a magical contract land Draco in a most unexpected situation. Can his Slytherin soul survive intact or will he succumb to one redheaded witch in bondage? Snarky humor, romance, and a pinch of angst. “I don’t want it. I didn’t order it. Now leave me the fuck alone.” He slammed the door closed. Only it didn’t close due to the enormous boot wedged into its threshold. One loud grunt later and it flung back open, almost hitting him in the face. Draco reflexively leaned back, and that’s when she was thrust into his unsuspecting arms.

I was wondering when he'd lose it. I was really proud of him when he didn't. At least he's still got some semblance of dignity. That was a good idea for both him and for you. I don't see Ginny forgiving him. She's been through a lot but I still think she has enough of herself left to hate those who put her through it. If Draco fucks her before she asks for it, I don't see them really getting together.

Poor Draco, he's completely caught up with Ginny and can't do a damn thing about it.

Just so you know this paragraph was especially brilliant.

"
But it was the masochist in him that couldn't seem to get enough of the irresistible torture she dished out, so he decided to Port on over for a second helping of the stuff, hoping to rid himself of his miserable affliction. Maybe after gorging himself on her foul presence and rotting from the inside out again, maybe - just maybe - that ridiculous, brain-dead excuse for an organ in the middle of his chest would learn a bloody lesson. Forget the noxious wench. If she screwed you over once, she'll do it again. How ruddy basic was that? Even a two-year-old Squib could magic that one. Merlin."

So, now the question is really whether Ginny plans to kill Chervenko or not. I didn't really like how Draco treated her in the middle there, but I think it's realistic; even if I'd like him to be perfect, he isn't.

I liked Draco's thought's about Ginny. They seemed to be really well thought out. And besides, with someone like Draco, if he doesn't stop lusting after her, then realizing how much he loves her will be difficult.

I truly admire you for your dedication to this. Seriously, I update so slowly there are probably people who wonder if I'm even working on my stories. Anyway, it's wonderful, but don't worry about taking your time. If you need to, then you need to. Fandom should never take too much precedence over living life; that can get very unhealthy.

I have to say I'm glad those memories are over. We needed to see them all, I suppose, but they were getting a little long and I truly wanted to get back to the story.

That was a very interesting end of a chapter. I have to admit that I can't really remember what Arthur was doing before because I haven't seen him in so long. But, I can take a peak back and check, so no harm done, really. That's how it is with longer fanfics sometimes.

Keep it up. This story is quite an accomplishment.

Harry has a lot of memories of things he shouldn't have done, more than either of his friends. Interesting.

I am absolutely amazed at your ability to update so quickly. You've had a chapter almost everyday. It makes me wonder if you are doing anything other than this fic. Well, however you're managing it, it's quite mind blowing.

You've gotten a lot of comments about loose ends and dragging on and such from both me and other reviewers. I just thought I'd say that the references to Draco's legilimency before in the story were really helpful. It made me remember the gist of that whole part of the story. I think you should be okay if you just keep remembering to do that: refer to other parts of the story for those of us who read too much fanfiction and can't keep it straight.

Reviewer: Kisou Signed

Good chapter.

This is a small thing, but I thought I'd point it out. I didn't understand what you were trying to show in this paragraph. "His palm lay flat and outstretched perhaps a few millimeters from the door. Then he let it fall, and he went on. ?It seems like that would be a really awkward gesture.

But, all in all, this is making more and more sense as I read on. You're doing a wonderful job of making sure we don't stay in the dark for too long, just long enough to keep us on the edge of our seats. Keep it up.

Reviewer: Kisou Signed
Date: Jun 27, 2006 Title: Chapter 46: Chapter 46

Harry's certainly gone over the edge a little bit. (Or, at least, he had.) I like that. Truth shows that no one's perfect, our heroes least of all in some ways. This is getting pretty long, but the chapters are getting shorter, so not quite as much as it seems. Still, I'm hoping this will tie itself up soon. I'd hate for such a wonderful story to drag on and lose part of its magic. Well, good luck, and keep it up. This is great stuff.
