I just wanted to drop a quick (and probably rambling) review to let you know I appreciate your story and hope you will continue to update.
I read a little of this a while back and tonite read through it to where you are at.
I just wanted to let you know that I think you are doing a great job on this story. It is well written and flows well. The premise is interesting too. I hadn't thought about Draco missing before. It is significant that he isn't mentioned at the feast. Harry does tend to mention him all the time in the books.
It is one of the better stories on here. It holds a person's interest and the writing really is quite good.
I'm looking forward to reading more and seeing where you take it.
When I have some time, I'll go back and review the chapters.

Draco is the only one that is resisting the power. Is it because it belongs to his family/he grew up with it? And there is something different/wrong Because some was taken and it is out of balance OR there hasn't been a Malfoy there?? OR does this power seek souls to devour.

Finally, Harry's memory.
I hate that he forgives Hermoine and blames Ginny, but It makes sense that he would.
But then later, after Ginny gave herself to Draco, Harry wanted her. He's more than a bit twisted isn't he.
Poor Ginny, she has been through so much.
Draco's thoughts through all of this are perfect.
