You can only betray something you once supported. Draco and Ginny didn't have a relationship, so it couldn't end, so none of the rest of it mattered. Right?Category: Completed Short Stories
I read this beautiful piece of work a long time ago and I'm glad I found it again. It just resonates with anguish and beauty. Thank you.
You know the rhyme... first comes love, then comes marriage... Except it doesn't quite work out that way for Draco & Ginny.Category: Long and Completed
Brava! I thought it was wonderful, as are many of your other stories. =)
COMPLETE A week of detention bring Draco and Ginny closer together, and against all odds, an unlikely friendship emerges. But what will happen when their bond is tested and they both have to face the things they fear most? COMPLETECategory: Long and Completed
When they first started this, he made her promise that she wouldn't try and change him, but in the end, she hadn't needed to – he changed anyway.
It's almost 5 in the morning now and I have French class in a few hours. But I just had to finish.
Ginny can't see the stars and Draco helps her find them.Category: Completed Short Stories
That was sweet. I like the spinning star theme. I might have done similar things...okay, I have, but unfortunately, no Draco.
A bet, a wanted witch, and a magical contract land Draco in a most unexpected situation. Can his Slytherin soul survive intact or will he succumb to one redheaded witch in bondage? Snarky humor, romance, and a pinch of angst. “I don’t want it. I didn’t order it. Now leave me the fuck alone.” He slammed the door closed. Only it didn’t close due to the enormous boot wedged into its threshold. One loud grunt later and it flung back open, almost hitting him in the face. Draco reflexively leaned back, and that’s when she was thrust into his unsuspecting arms.Category: Works in Progress
That was...evil. Maybe I need to rethink the cliffs I write now because I'm just dying to know what happened...and why Ginny...I just don't know...
But I'm very happy with how things shaped up with Blaise. I was concerned. Of course, I'm now concerned in other ways but at least one thing got cleared up. Okay, right, I'm suppose to be finishing up my thesis...
Author's Response: Yes, it was ebil, and I can only that my ebilness will move you to write the next chapter of A Common Cure. Because if it does, then it was worth it! I can only hang on my fingernails for so long! (a tiny request but no pressure I know how busy you are!)
Whew! - now that I\'ve got that off my chest... yes, Blaise is by Draco\'s side. He cruises in with him at the beginning of the chapter for Quidditch, and he picks him up at the end of the chapter, when he\'s too drunk to know left from right!
Thanks for your review. I loved it! -fallenwitch
::sigh:: you're going to kill me with your work. and the lack of updates for the slytherin's witch. i suppose i'll be so kind as to do the same ;)
Author's Response: Well, I guess that means I\'m just about dead now... taking my last raspy breath...waiting for that update on A Common Cure. Thanks for your review. It made me laugh! Oh, forget about that update on The Slytherin\'s Witch. That is so not happening right now. But it will, eventually, I promise! -fallenwitch
"This isn't about us, Draco."
I was just waiting for Draco to say or think, "For you, it's never about us." This fic is going to kill me. Next chapter then...
His kitchen knives were running around Bulgaria killing people.
Haha. And yet, it fit so well with the horrible horrible heart-wrenching scenario that Draco was in. Bloody hell, how is that wizard standing?
As for the rest of it, I used to think *I* was unfair to Draco but now I've realized that I've been handing him lollipops and giving him puppies and rainbows.
Author's Response: How is he standing? Well, I\'m holding him up from behind by the scruff of his Slytherin neck, that\'s how. Oh, don\'t worry. You are being unfair to Draco. You just tried to kill him off, remember? Thanks for stopping by, Black Alnair, and for the wonderful review! -fallenwitch
Two and a half years after his failure to kill Albus Dumbledore, Draco has long been accepted back into the ranks of the Death Eaters. He is still obsessively searching for the rebel Ginny Weasley, but he hides that secret well. When she is found one snowy December night, he smuggles her onto the Death Eaters? train with him. And he begins to learn that nothing will ever be the same again?Category: Works in Progress
This chapter was so well done I can't possibly comment on it all. The entire fall, from the very first line, was just tremendously well-written. I can't wait to read the rest of this. And while I fear you have other plans for Bella, and I rarely have this wish for even ficitional characters, I do hope she dies. ;) I just can't have people treating Draco that way after all...
I like the dangeled hope line. Draco's really got a lot of character (no pun intended) in this chapter, and it's very interesting to see how quickly his responses change. Poor Draco. I like to play with him too sometimes. =)
Ginny, Harry, and Draco have been leading separate lives for years, but then a disturbing case involving mind manipulation brings them all together. Rows break out, animosity and hatred grow, people die, and friendship is tested. In the midst of all that, is it possible for romance between two unlikely people to bloom?Category: Works in Progress
Amazing twist. I can't wait to read more. I'm especially interested in what Ginny's perspective of everything was. Please post soon.
Author's Response: I will do my best.
A series of vignettes in which Ginny and Draco discover what they mean to each other.Category: Completed Short Stories
Oh I loved it. It's being added to my favorites as soon as I finish typing.
"He wondered what had happened. Who was dead, who was hurt, and who survived? From both sides.Category: Completed Short Stories
Tomorrow, he thought, as he looked down at her battle-ravaged face. It begins tomorrow."
A short ficlet based on a drabble I wrote a long time ago. After the final battle, Ginny seeks comfort and Draco is there for her.
That was a nice little ficlet. Though I do wish you would finish your other stories! Like Oh Dear Gd and Refraction. =)
Author's Response: LOL. I\'m glad you liked it. As for my other stories, worry not, updates are in the pipeline. I\'m just a very busy girl and sometimes writing has to take a back seat for longer than I would like.
Ginny Weasley and Draco Malfoy are stuck together at the Order Headquarters. Will they find friendship? Something more? DGCategory: Works in Progress
actually, i think this is the best chapter yet to date...though i'm waiting for the snogging to commence. the build-up is tantalizing nonetheless
Author's Response: Thank you very much! Hope you enjoy the next chapter as well...
Harry Potter defeats Lord Voldemort, and the wizarding world rejoices. Ginny Weasley's hopes and dreams seem to come true, at last; Draco Malfoy's end in Azkaban prison. But there is more to life than the obvious choices, and as Ginny and Draco struggle to redefine themselves in a post-war world, a chance encounter leads to more than either of them could ever have imagined...Category: Long and Completed
Sometimes you post faster than I can read it! Not that I'm complaining. I'm always very excited to see this because I can depend on reading something entertaining and just plain good. And I especially like the progress made here between Ginny and Draco. Oh, and feel free to use Boy-Who-Must-Be-Incredibly-Jealous to your heart's desire. I love people's reactions to DG...though not as much as I love them together. The entire library scene was superb.
Author's Response: Thank you! The library scene has been sitting on my harddrive for a long time, and I was happy to finally be able to post it! The boy-who-must-be-incredibly-jealous will definitely make an appearance in my fic at some point, though maybe not in this one *g*
Wonderful. I had wanted her to say yes but I think the delay was well done. It provided some great insight to Draco's character and a better transition to 'that' stage. Absolutely great chapter.
Author's Response: :-) Thank you! I\'m very happy with how this chapter turned out, personally, so I\'m happy you liked it, too. And I think we all want her to say \'yes\'...but that doesn\'t mean she will, of course *g*
Ginny Weasley and Draco Malfoy have always been enemies. What will happen when they end up in a place where no one knows of their family rivalry?Category: Long and Completed
::snicker:: Step 2 and then Step 6? Of course Draco is an overachiever. =)
Author's Response: Ha ha, of course.
2nd Place at Pud's D/G Fic Contest! Five years ago, Draco Malfoy was offered sanctuary by his mother’s cousins in India. Now, with the death of his father, the Malfoys need an heir, and Narcissa sets out to find her son a wife through the aid of the far-seeing, fortune-telling Morcant sisters, who decide upon none other than Ginny Weasley. Seeing this offer as a means of escaping the horrible war that has descended upon England, Ginny accepts their proposition, and finds herself in a foreign land engaged to a Draco Malfoy who seems to be a strange mix of the old and the new.Category: Long and Completed
Shockingly beautiful writing. I'm sufficiently intrigued. (I've been tempted to place Draco somewhere exotic myself and am playing with the idea of putting him in Algeria. And like you, have not been there...ever.)
Author's Response: Wow, thanks. Glad you like the writing, and VERY glad you\'re intrigued! I\'ll have you know I considered Brazil for a time, but then decided India was way better.
Dramatic ending. I'd like how you carried the sky motif through and juxtaposed Draco/Ginny with India/England. The Shakespeare quotes were slightly distracting and perhaps it would have been more effective to stick with quotes from the work's namesake. But overall, no other complaints because it was just so bloody brillant! Now I think I have to go and read your other work. ;)
Author's Response: Thanks! I\'m glad you thought it was brilliant, LOL. I would\'ve put only Tempest quotes, but alas, they don\'t apply quite as well, so I branched out to Shakespeare in general. (My favorite has to be the last one, however: \"For the rain it raineth every day.\" Hurray!) Anyway, I\'m glad you enjoyed the fic, and please do check out my other stuff! :-)
Sequel to Break in the sun (till the sun breaks down). For a few blissful hours, the differences between them did not matter. But as Draco and Ginny struggle with their budding relationship, they must soon discover that many things separate them still - family, friends and society as well as their own explosive tempers. The future they want for themselves comes at a price, and reconciling what they each want out of life is a challenge that might just break them apart...Category: Works in Progress
That was beautiful and painful. Haha, beautiful because it was painful perhaps. I exhibit a bit of sadism when it comes to Draco I'm afraid. But in any case, the shattered music box was wonderful. Looking for more DG interaction though.
Author's Response: *g* Yes, making Draco hurt is great - but I do love me a happy ending, too. Well, we\'re only getting started. Thanks for reviewing!
Another wonderful chapter. Your work keeps distracting me from briefing my cases! But I'm glad to be reading this exceptional stuff. And I love the music box motif. Well done.
Author's Response: Umm, sorry? *g* I\'m really glad you like it that much, though, so thank you!
I absolutely love the insight on the other Slytherins. Draco is more of a leader than even he realizes. Another well done chapter! I can't wait for the next chapter and some DG interaction.
Author's Response: I just posted some D/G interaction :) Thank you, I enjoy writing Pansy, now and then, and making up characters for a story is always a challenge. I\'m glad you liked the way I handled it.
I absolutely love the insight on the other Slytherins. Draco is more of a leader than even he realizes. Another well done chapter! I can't wait for the next chapter and some DG interaction.
Aww, the amount of sacchraine was just right for an after-Halloween post. Thanks. Another great chapter. =)
Author's Response: *g* Thank you, glad you think so.
After an unexpected attack on Hogsmeade takes the lives of several loved ones, Ginny Weasley is left with only grief as a remnant of war. But what she never anticipated, in the wake of all the tragedy, was to find her will to live again in the form of a bawling, grey-eyed baby left to die in the wreckage of battle... the baby of Draco Malfoy. REVISED VERSION.Category: Long and Completed
I am sufficiently intrigued. Ready to read the next part!
