I have decided that it is time to part company with FIA. I am still writing, however I am now posting on a fic journal with Peki of Shall Rise Again fame and fallenwitch of Along Came a Wizard infamy. I am honored to be accepted into their company and I look forward to this new chapter in my life though I am always sad to see things end. I apologize that the end of A Common Cure will not be posted here but it will be finished and everything I will write from now on and also, my other fic, And the Twilight Sounds, will be posted at: WeThree. All are welcome. Be well, readers. Thank you for everything.

After an unexpected attack on Hogsmeade takes the lives of several loved ones, Ginny Weasley is left with only grief as a remnant of war. But what she never anticipated, in the wake of all the tragedy, was to find her will to live again in the form of a bawling, grey-eyed baby left to die in the wreckage of battle... the baby of Draco Malfoy. I really like this story so far. The other characters are well done even when they are not important to the plot. I can't wait to see how this unfolds.

His Girl by Persephone33    (Reviews - 47)

Voldemort has been defeated and Harry and Draco have become reluctant friends. 'His Girl' features a lovesick Harry, a calm and collected Ron, a Hermione that drools over anything male and Slytherin, and a very sexually frustrated Ginny Weasley. When you throw in an after Quidditch party, an illicit love potion, and a couple of threesomes, you have a Hogwarts like you've never seen before! Book six is completely disregarded.

Draco exploded. “Yes! Everything is bloody well fine with-- if you-- I mean every available empty place that–Potter and… PANSY!” he stopped, calming himself. “Blaise, perhaps you’d better take this.”

Haha, that was great. It was fun, interesting and well-balanced between the characters. And Crabbe confunding himself. Ack, classic...

Author's Response: Thank you! I\'ve always thought there must be SOME explanation for Crabbe being so stupid.

Beautiful use of music as a means of healing. I was at a concert a few weeks ago - and it's always incredible when the singer puts down his mic and everyone is just singing along in one single drawn out moment - really really incredible. And you've described it perfectly! Made the sensation palable.

And I loved Draco - I wondered how he was when he walked in, how the conversation struck up between them, and how he's changed. His question, "So how was your day?" was so simple and potent. It's something that is asked all the time but you've elevated the ordinary into something truly meaningful.

Looking forward to more of your work rockmysocks. Fantastic penname btw! ;)

I'm interested to see where this is going. It seems like it would be a fun read - but there also seems to be some hidden angst and emotions that need exploring which I also look forward to as well. And of course, the romantic interaction...

Also, great description of the technical aspects of Quidditch! I was impressed!

Yay for happy endings! Again, the Quidditch descriptions were amazing. You have a way with weaving the technicality into the story well. I have to admit that Draco was OOC even in context but it was an interesting spin nonetheless and I do hope you will write more. :)

Great work! I have to say, I'm wary of poetry (translation: I usually don't like it) but the structure added to the potency of the words and the haunting repetition of "I remember" was just simply fantastic. Thanks!

Again, I love this story - I even nominated it for best dark fic. And of course, I thought it should have won.

But anyway, I actually didn't think Draco died at the end at all. I imagined that by end, you meant the end of them as a couple. Or at least, you left that interpretation open to us. But given how essential they are to each other, even if they aren't puzzle pieces that fit, they *need* each other so badly that what I now imagine, reading it again, is that it's the end of the run around. He actually doesn't want this to end, he's no longer pushing her away. And I think (or at least) hope that he is closing his eyes not because he's dying but because he is finally willing to accept her and let her in. It's the end of the most troubling part between them. Anyway, I'm probably all wrong about this but thank you so much for writing this wonderful piece.

By the way, in reference to your other stories, I love the idea of Draco and a piano.

Ha! After all that, we're back to the splash! Oh, all that anxiety. But it was an enticing read the oh, fifth time around anyway - and I'm sure Marcia will love it just as much. I especially like what you ended up doing with the dissolve line - a real post-War axiom. And you know, my services are available anytime - as to how helpful they've been to you - that's up to debate but of course you don't need me to creae great fiction. :)

Author's Response: *laughs* Yes, back to splash, sorry. It was a sound thing, not an intellectual thing. I spent some time wrestling with the dissolve line, trying to fingale something that would meet with your approval. Glad you finally freaking approve of something in this fic. *snickers* Thanks again for your help. You really know how to put an author through the hoops. *collapses from exhaustion*

I love the threads concept. And the setting. A couple of my friends are in Japan right now and so some of the words are familiar and it's fun making the connections but what I like even more is how different it is from many stories.

The fresh fish line gave me the creeps - I like sushi but I read that expert chefs can cut the fish so that it's still alive when you're eating it! I don't need to see the fish gulping as I eat it. I know that's not what I meant but it's the exact image that popped into my mind.

Great so far!

The Slytherin's Witch by fallenwitch    (Reviews - 81)

One heartbroken witch, one Death Eater wizard, a dash of Firewhisky and a Muggle pub all add up to a dark and twisted romance with buckets of angst and a shot of humour. “Be careful, Gin. Not only is he a little unbalanced, but he’s also got the worst of the wizarding world out to kill him. Call me if you need me.”

Dark pubs. Bottles of Firewhiskeys. Drunken heartbreak. Who else but you would weave these elements together into such a gut wrenching story of discovery? I'm looking forward to getting reacquainted with this over the summer and investing my time in Draco's vulnerability - even if I don't get to read the resolution. You've been stringing me along like a yo-yo with this guy for so long - but I still love you. *Throws hard uncooked brussels sprouts your way* Oh, did I actually hit you with one? I have such terrible aim...

It looks like you're going to have a lot of email to deal with in the wake of your exodus - but of course, you're so dreadfully popular. ;)

Fantastic. The built-up tension was nearly palable in those surreptitious glances they gave each other, and their relationship developed at an even realistic pace that pulls you into their world. And then those heart-breaking lines: “If I know what it is I’m going to, I’ll have a head start.” and “The deepest level of Hell. For traitors.” Bloody hell - wrench my heart out why don't you? And that death - so fitting. I could almost feel his death coming and heaven forbid, I was thinking she *had* to go to. Thanks for this - it was well done and satisfying.

Btw, should I admit what a sorry excuse of an English major I was? Never read the Inferno - always wanted to though. Maybe I'll add it to my summer reading list...which now has about 20 books on it. Doubt I'll read more than 10 though. Haha, took DG to revive my interest in reading that again.

Author's Response: :D I\'m pleased you enjoyed it! Haha, I know what you mean about unrealistic reading lists- especially with DH coming (so I have to re-read the entire series, right? :P) I would definitely recommend Inferno if you have the time, though. Thanks for the wonderful review!
