Your general style of writing is different; not in a bad way, this story just felt like the writing of someone who writes less about Ginny and Draco, and more about their general feelings, the war, etc. Not too involved, like hearing about a dream or something. That's how I've always thought of those stories. It's interesting, as that's not how this story was, that it would feel that way to me. But I liked it. I'm not normally a fan of indecisive, inconclusive endings, but for this worked, and it felt as a good an ending as any other. Perfect for this story.

If only? This is way better than your original ending! Then again, I hate Harry/Ginny. But still, this was better, not counting the pairing side of either chapter. Are you more of an H/G shipper? Obviously that was the way you wrote this story, originally, was with them being together in the end, but it seemed like more effort went into the D/G part, like you enjoyed it more. But maybe that's just me. Loved it all the same, and I'm completely disregarding the end of the first chapter as much as I did the epilogue of the HP books. ;)
