This is really good! You did a great job of characterizing Draco. Just enough of his natural Slytherin-ness, mixed with a bit of conscience. Very believable, and doesn't seem contrived like some authors have a way of doing. Two thumbs up!
Ginny is a reporter for the Daily Prophet and needs an interesting story to get her onto the front page. Draco Malfoy, serving a life sentence in Azkaban, is suddenly up for re-trial. He seems kind of creepy, though. Not in a bad way, by any means (that totally sounds wrong), but more in a kind of deep, depressed, really need a big hug sort of way.
That makes me sound really weird. Anyway... very much like this chapter and can't wait to see what happens when (if?) Ginny finally gets to interview him!
