This is a basically good story. The plotline is interesting, and you've kept them in character (mostly, and after all, they have grown up), without cliching them. However, the transitions seem rather rough around the edges, and the ending extremely abrupt. I like this sotry, but I think it could be edited to be a bit more streamlined, without any detriment to the basic structure of the tale.

Author's Response: This was a stream of consciousness type of thing. I couldn\'t sleep, and this is what came out when I sat down to type. I\'ll check back and see if I can clear it up a bit.

Benediction by Mourning Broken Angel    (Reviews - 56)

A post-HBP Christmas fic. Christmas is a time for new beginnings and whether the gift is great or small, sometimes it is enough to change the course of a life.

This was excellent. The characters seemed very in character, the plot was good, the storyline made sense. Probably one of the better-put-together stories on this website.

Author's Response: What a lovely thing to say- thank you!
