Ginny watches Draco. Sometimes, he looks back.Category: Completed Short Stories
This was very suspenseful and emotional and I thoroughly enjoyed every word. Wonderful ficlet.
Ginny is the object of Draco's quest for the SnitchCategory: Completed Short Stories
Yum. The way you moved between their minds and emotions was so subtle and tantalizing, like you were caressing your words across the page.
In his fifth year, Draco was moving towards a dark destiny... and slowly, inexorably, he began to pull Ginny in. Find out what *really* happened between those two during the events of Order of the Phoenix. Harry didn't know the half of it...Category: Long and Completed
This chapter was so tantalizing it deserved its own review. You write the confusion, curiosity, and discovery very well, weaving them together subtly.
Oh Ginny. This chapter was beautifully written, especially the description of Umbridge's office.
So much has happened and now Ginny is torn once more, not between love and hate but between who she loves. This whole chapter came full circle; so soon after there was resolution there was another conflict that did not hold romantic melodrama. Again, beautifully written.
And just when everything was wrapping into the perfect ball of angst you have to go and make it a cliffie. Snape's trace of smile was a nice touch.
After her first year, Ginny keeps a very tight circle of friends. A chance meeting in the Potions Hall sets off a chain of events that will burrow her into Slytherin, and ultimately, Draco Malfoy.Category: Works in Progress
Entertaining so far. I'm sorry you're having computer troubles. Keep it coming!
Draco Malfoy's first kiss - just a tiny fluffy holiday ficlet.Category: Completed Short Stories
The last sentence is really quite a shock. It reminds me very much of a ditty: short, sweet, and entertaining the whole way through.
Sometimes even happiness needs to be hidden. (one-shot)Category: Completed Short Stories
Beautiful. I especially like the way you wrote Molly's discovery of them; there was an undercurrent of overprotectiveness and outrage masked by intense care.
Everyone has their own unique way of expressing affection. Ginny Weasley's happens to involve snowballs.Category: Long and Completed
It's very cute so far. I especially liked the way you had Ginny respond; usually she gets all stuttery and flustered and for some reason I dreaded having a kissing scene just then - it just seemed inappropriate. I hope you write more soon.
Nice quick update. I'm intrigued as to how the Harry/Ginny scene is going to go - Harry can be such a blind dolt when he wants to.
NEW, REVISED EDITION!! The Last Chapter. See what you think of this version! :)Category: Long and Completed
By the spring of her fifth year, Ginny Weasley had almost convinced herself that she didn’t really still want Harry Potter. But when he finally kissed her one Hogsmeade weekend in June, she couldn’t resist the power of all those years of waiting and watching and hoping and praying. Six months later, her dream has finally come true… except that Draco Malfoy just won’t leave her alone. Strange things are afoot, and once Ginny starts to figure out what’s really going on, nothing is as simple as it seems…
You have a nice mix of memory and plot so far.
Lovely chapter. I especially like how chaste everything appears on the surface, but something - I can't point out what - hints at a more sexual attraction.
Binding spells and how they could be broken... There seems to be a wrongness in the story that you've purposefully put it. I feel uncertain for Ginny because while the Order has good intentions for her, she wants something different, like smoking cigarettes. I wonder if Draco began smoking before or after she did. It's a pity though; cigarettes do all sorts of nasty things to young skin. But it is the perfect small rebellion.
Draco slept with Ginny because of a bet, and the time for reckoning is at hand.Category: Completed Short Stories
I like the new spin you took on an old situation. You've left so many threads loose and yet managed to capture a moment. I wonder how they got there but at the end I know that it's all trivial because I know where they're going and I like it.
A Vesica/Mynuet Collaboration. If Ginny had even the slightest inkling of what the day would bring, she probably would have called in sick. A disastrous press conference proved to be no match for the spin doctoring talents of Lush's chief and Ginny finds herself catapulted from being a lowly intern to the very eye of the storm, living a double life as a careerwitch and glamorous front woman for a racy new line. Throw in a few A-list events, a few dozen crises, an endless promotional tour with her new co-worker and the last person she wanted to spend time with, and a mystery waiting back home that neither of them may be able to solve….Every day's an adventure when you're living the Lush Life!Category: Works in Progress
Hilarious!
Author's Response: Ves says: Indeed!
Myn says: Thanks!
War never leaves anyone unchanged.Category: Long and Completed
“Do we really have to do this?” “Do what?” “Dissect what happened?” “I’m not trying to dissect it, Ginny. I’m just trying to understand it.” Lovely little wordplay.
"He loves them both, and he doesn’t like to entertain the thought that he may be losing them. The idea that he’s losing them to each other is even more painful." Again, wonderfully illustrative phrasing.
Sex and men are never easy...Category: Long and Completed
The way you portrayed Ginny was hilarious! And the last chapter was so dramatic yet well-written. Seriously awesome job.
Draco faces sixth year without his father's support, but standing alone in Slytherin is by no means easy. Can he do it alone? Or will he need help...Category: Long and Completed
This is Erised from ff.net but I thought I should drop a review here too because I love this story and how you focused mainly on Draco with the relationship between Draco and Ginny an intriguing side plot. You've created a world out of clan politics and I admire your ability to do that.
She thought that her writing was the thing most likely to help her be noticed as herself.Category: Completed Short Stories
I read this last week and forgot to review. I wanted to tell you this was quite an intriguing chapter and I look forward to more, if more is to come.
Draco Malfoy learns that some mornings, he should just stay in bed.Category: Completed Short Stories
I had no idea what was actually going on. At first I though maybe Draco was seeing two other people, which strengthened when Blaise was found snogging a red-head. It was clever of you to introduce the bogart - and Draco though it was so simple! - yet wouldn't a bogart pick up on what Draco most feared, and not what would cause him the most anguish? And yet, it could make sense because Draco did experience an emotional pause during which the bogart could have attacked. Still, this was a wonderful story. Though Ginny being so concerned about saying "I love you" I didn't like so much.
Canon proof for D/G! JKR’s hidden da Vinci code! Draco as the HBP! Yep, it’s all here, and more, in this essay. I decided (with some nudging from Mynuet) that it was now or never, for publishing this thing. Read it, and make of it what you will.Category: Essays
I'm also LookingGlass on fictionalley. I enjoyed your essay, thought you made some really good points, although I felt you repeated a couple when you didn't intend to. I too believe that Draco will hold a very important role in HBP and believe your connection between Ginny, Draco, Harry, and Voldemort. I also agree that Ginny and Voldemort appear to have some unfinished business. However, your arguement lends, in my opinion, the inevitability that Draco will be used, but Voldemort, to work his evil. It may be the most plausible option, but I don't like it. There were many things that I wanted to comment on but I read it reather quickly without jotting down any notes. If you'd like, I can do a point-counterpoint for you. Ironic that you mentioned the Valentine's day scene in CoS as I am working on a story about it. Thank whoever selected the featured stories section for getting me back into writing for the fandom, though I can't guarantee that I'll post the story. Overall, a very persuasive and interesting essay.
That parody is hilarious! Lots of interesting points, such as all the small slipped in details, of which there is such a great quantity that for them all to turn out to mean nothing is highly unlikely. I found this chapter more convincing than the last, perhaps because you had already begun to lead me down the path of believing. Oh, I'm just itching for the next book to come out!
Draco Malfoy smelled like citrus lemons.Category: Completed Short Stories
That was extremely sensual without being over-the-top. Well done.
I hope that's a recipe I can try out ;-)
