The minutes ticked by, long enough for Ginny to know that against all reason, all common sense, she still wanted impossible things from him. But she would leave. Author's Response: Thank you! :) I love Andy too. The idea to use him in the story was actually based on a play produced by the Red-Eye Theater in Minneapolis several years ago, called "Andy Warhol Goes to Therapy." It was a musical, and it was performed at midnight every night, and everybody was in drag... anyway, I saw it a bunch of times, and it kind of stuck in my mind. I came up with the idea that he was actually a wizard who chose to live in the Muggle world so that he'd be able to observe everybody without ever giving himself away, and while I toyed with the idea that he faked his own death, it somehow just seemed to work better to have him come back as an unusually solid ghost. :)
So, I just caught up on this, and already I'm wondering where the next chapter is. I really do like Loftia though. I hope we continue to see more of her. I would never have thought of the Inanim idea. It's much more intricate then anything, and it really works. It isn't just a talking mirror or Loft. They have a place and meaning in the story. Amazing ass. =)
Author's Response: Hi! :) (waves) the next chapter is coming soon, I hope! I just love Loftia. She's trying to help Ginny as much as she can, but she's bound by the Inanim's laws, so there's only so much she can do... I'm kind of feeling my way through the next chapter-- it honestly feels like I'm trying to pick up the clues, figure out what happened,and then write it down as accurately as possible. It's all due to Draco, of course. ;) More soon...
I feel that as SUCH good friends, you should tell me any and all secrets for this story. Haha! I loved the wording for her pact with Astoria. There is a difference between fucking and making love. I'm not sure if anyone else caught onto that ONE word, but it makes all the difference. I know that was a clue. Technicalities for the win and all that jazz.
I'm mentally piecing everything together at the moment. You promised that Draco and Ginny do sleep together. So if I'm not correct, then Draco DOES sleep with Astoria. Draco, you poor soul. I wouldn't even use her for a one night stand.
The summary mentions time-turners, so I am still of the opinion that Ginny does go back in time, and that she actually is Marie. The latter part is a leap, but it IS possible.
OR she uses the portrait of Draco. But I'm not sure how that would all work.
I do think you should give me at least one hint. It is only fair, and we are all about fairness! *hides Slytherin items that decorate her room and whistles innocently while throwing up a Hufflepuff banner*
Author's Response: Um... I don't know about ALL the secrets... ;) But okay, here's one. The wording of the Ginny/Astoria pact will turn out to be absolutely critical, AND the results have been planned for a long, long time. Honestly. Nobody has faith in me. :P
Marie hasn't been forgotten. Not at all. But a lot of things had to happen with the D/G relationship first, and the biggest event is still to come. Soon. How's that for a hint? :)

Ginny leaned towards Draco, who was currently lounging around in the enormous four-poster bed. Linen shirt, silk undershirt, astonishingly well-cut trousers, and snugly tailored boxer shorts were strewn all over the floor. In fact, he had removed everything but his smirk.
"Who wears tailored boxer shorts?" Ginny wondered aloud.
"A Malfoy, of course," said Draco. "Now, are you going to stand about asking useless questions, or are you planning to come to bed?" He held his arms open wide.
"I think I like the second choice better," admitted Ginny.
"Good," purred Draco, "because I've also got rather a lot of melted dark chocolate, and it would be a shame to let it all go to waste."
So without further ado, Ginny jumped onto the bed, he pinned down her wrists with lightning speed, he bent his head down towards hers, their lips met in a sizzling kiss, and then--

Damnit, Anise! You make it so good, and then it ends! I love the... blurry sequences though. I feel as confused and muddled as Ginny must. I just cannot wait for the next chapter to be up!

And, well, the chapters DO have to end at some point. ;) There's a reason why Ginny feels so confused at the end of that sort-of-but-not-entirely dream sequence-- Draco is definitely trying to hide something from her, and as she correctly guesses, it's the big reason why he's there in the first place. But we WILL find out. Eventually... ;)

So, having read the past chapters (a few of them, anyways), I'm once again wondering when Draco will find out about Tom Riddle. And how much longer until those "erased" memories of Ginny's resurface. They started to in past chapters, and I know she won't be very happy with Draco when she realizes.

Blaise has an important part to play at the Pureblood Ball. ;) You know, that gives me an idea... maybe I really will bring back the Emporium. (ponders a possible cameo by a flag-waving new character known as "Dykeadellica." ;)
I thought Draco already knew she was pure from his father? And had she not been, would he have taken her right there and then?
Author's Response: Nope. Lucius Malfoy always had a vested interest in leading Draco to believe that Ginny had been sleeping around with all and sundry. The scene in Chapter 34 is a good example, when Lucius talks to a seventeen-year-old Draco during what would have been his seventh year at Hogwarts, in February 1998. (Ginny saw it when Stephen Jay Gould made her watch it, remember?) Lucius offers Ginny as an incentive to Draco in order to get him to keep cooperating with Voldy's plans, but Lucius keeps saying that Ginny has already shagged half the male population of Hogwarts even though he knows perfectly well that she hasn't. It was always part of his plot to keep Draco in a state of lustful obsession over Ginny while never trusting her; by the time he found out that his father had lied about her, it would be too late.
I'm not sure what Draco would have done at the time-- he was about ready to give in anyway. But he still might have been able to resist. ;)

Author's Response: Yes, Draco does do that for sure, and it's exactly why he's still doing it by the present time of the fic... but that time is drawing to a close pretty fast. And BTW, we WILL see those crates again. ;) The mystery of Marie will resurface, too. At the present time in the fic, Ginny has shoved the whole issue to the back of her mind, more or less, but she's only fooling herself. ;)
