What really happened in the DH Epilogue of Doom. Poor, poor Harry, so very clueless...Category: Works in Progress
Chapter SIXTY-NINE quote of the day:
Ginny scowled at him. “You don’t know me very well.”
Draco shook his head, his eyes more sorrowful than ever. “No. I don’t. Eternity wouldn’t be long enough for that.”
“Why do I feel as if we’ve suddenly wandered into the set of a men’s cologne commercial?” complained Lucifer.
“Can’t you keep your damn mouth shut, Lucifer?” spat Draco.
“Please… really… I don’t think you should talk to him that way,” whispered Ginny.
Wow this was nothing short of amazing! I am hoping that you will eventually get back to this story, it really is one that leaves me on the edge of my seat wanting to know how and if they will ever be happy.
Hilarious, I jumped with joy when I saw the update and am already anxious for the next chapter. :)
My favorite line, “Fine. I’m off to find the strawberry margaritas.” hahahaha
Author's Response: Thank you! Yes... virtual strawberry margaritas were necessary after that synopsis, I think... ;)
Wow I am so sad yet so happy for them. Since the moon has been referred to a lot during this chapter I suppose it is having a negative effect on Draco leading to more bad news for Ginny. I am glad there is no doom and gloom cliffhanger but I am still anxious to see what happens next.
Author's Response: I couldn't leave them with gloom and doom at the end of the chapter! ;) But yes, what happens to the moon is very significant here. Let's just say that the timing is important... Much more coming soon!
Happy dance for another chapter so soon! Another great chapter of course as well. I feel so sad for Ginny :( I cant imagine what her path to her man has on it to deter her after this. I'm wondering since he is in hell will it deal with her dying... Hmmmm Anise you have me stumped on this one.
Author's Response: Thank you! :) (does the Happy Dance too...) Okay, I'll say one thing-- Ginny absolutely *will* find Draco again, although she has a little bit of work to do before she can manage it. And we'll find out what that last deal was that he made with the Devil. It's been in the works for a long, long time... ;)
Selling herself into a marriage contract, Ginny finds herself playing a deadly game, ultimately pitting her husband against her lover and a father against his son. Many twists and turns, depth and evil characters - and a long story of sweet and true love.Category: Long and CompletedNew! Epilogue is up! Yes, I know, the story has been "complete" for a couple of years, but this ending has been partially written for a long time and it ties up some loose ends.
Ahhh I was so scared for a second for them, good chapter :)
Your betrayal of Lucius has me going nuts hahaha I do love a good antagonist. He really is some kind of horrible. Definitely enjoy reading this story and am on the edge of my seat waiting for more. THUMBS UP!!!!
Author's Response: Lucius is complicated in this story. In fact, I originally had him as being even more horrible to Ginny and others, but I cut a lot of it out, since it seemed to be unpopular with my readers. Despite his evil actions, he's not entirely evil. I see him as mentally ill, stubborn, and in some sort of denial that he'd actually done anything wrong. In a way, I wish I focused more on him in this story because he's so complex, but this is D/G-centric, after all. Thank you so much for the review! Your feedback really does mean the world to inspire me to work harder. :)
All Ginny wants is to get the upper hand just once with drool-worthy hunk of man candy and callous playboy Draco Malfoy before he moves on to his next careless conquest. So how did this simple plan lead to time travel, nefarious plots involving the most infamous whorehouse in the wizarding world, and the teenaged Draco’s achingly sweet, chocolate-flavored kisses? Even Draco Malfoy was innocent once, as Ginny learns all too well…Category: Long and Completed
Chapter ONE HUNDRED EIGHTEEN Quote of the Day:
THE LAST CHAPTER
The minutes ticked by, long enough for Ginny to know that against all reason, all common sense, she still wanted impossible things from him. But she would leave. Even after today, even when her body ached from him and for him, when she could feel that he had begun to shape her to him, she would turn around and leave him. I will, I will, she thought.
“You don’t understand,” said Draco.
“Oh?” Ginny said stiffly. “At least he hadn’t touched her, she thought. She would not be able to find the strength to pull herself away from him, and she knew it.
(stands up) *round of applause* I read this twice hahaha very good and well worth the wait.
Author's Response: Thanks so much!! I know... it was a long wait... but think of how much worse it was for them. ;)
I was so scared in the middle, definitely wanted to shake Ginny (she just can be so dense sometimes). Love the ending, its full of a hope that they can move forward knowing the love that they have for each other and try to tackle the obstacles in their path to happily ever after.
Author's Response: I think that Ginny was afraid to believe that what Draco seemed to be offering her was real (and there are obviously some obstacles up ahead, too, just as you've guessed.) But they really are going to try to move forward, even though they're going to have plenty to struggle against...
I almost spit out my drink when I saw the words The End hahahaha bizarre indeed. Interesting twists going on but it has me intrigued!!! Favorite lines are:
“Oh gods, oh gods, oh gods…”
“No gods here, I’m afraid. Perhaps a devil or two,” said Lucius."
Ginny is definitely in a bind here between two Draco's... An interesting chapter of course my dear. I want them to give in to their feelings for one another already hahaha
Author's Response: Yes, she is, and in more ways than one. And you just may get your wish, but in a way that I don't think anybody quite expects. ;) More soon...
That little shit, I knew he was the cause! I can definitely tell you I had a ton of outbursts during this chapter... "Whoa", "Really Ginny", and "Whattt" were frequently used... I totally did a fistpump and a squeal when I saw this super duper fast update. Hmmm that apple was rather creepy, kudos to Ginny for figuring out the culprit. My fav line, "Are you quite done screeching now? Yes?" I heart Draco hahahaha
Author's Response: Yep, portrait-Draco has kind of been caught red-handed here. ;) But there's more to the story of who's really at fault, as we will find out in the very next chapter. Have you figured out what the apple means yet? No worries if you haven't... that's one of the first things we learn in Chap 79!
So first *happy dance* for another fast update! I figured that the apple had something to do with time since that was the one thing that they were depending on and Portrait Draco had an abundance of. I have to say Portrait Draco lives a rather sad and lonely existence but in the end the was no happy ending truly for him anyway. I imagine after death it is fulfilling to be a portrait but to be stuck at an age where it was sort of the calm before the storm of life changed you drastically has to be hard. I feel like with the end of Portrait Draco and the l-word being revealed we shall see a change in Ginny, hopefully also these promises/vows will be put into action. I am rather curious as to how the sculptures will turn out after all this deception hahaha thanks for the entertainment Anise :)
Author's Response: Thanks! The Happy Dance is always good. :) (Does the kickboxing version...) And yes, you were right about that apple. I feel very sorry for portrait-Draco too, but he just wasn't going to get what he wanted so desperately at this point. (Ultimately, though, we haven't seen the last of him yet. He'll have his day... although it will be quite a while until he does.) Both Ginny and real-Draco do have some major changes coming up. And it all depends on that Pureblood Ball.... ;)
My last review for this chapter was eaten by one of the shadows within the soft places! I am so happy things have turned towards a seemingly more safer route at least for now. Draco's positive outlook is surprising but as he stated in the story, "...things cant get any worse." You can insert your evil laugh ->here
Author's Response: Yes, those shadows do seem to be pretty active lately, don't they... :P For instance, I was sure I responded to this review, and I think a shadow may have eaten that. Anyway, yes, a whole bunch of evil laughs can be inserted here, because Draco really should have known better than to say that. ;) More soon.
Oh my Anise, I wish you nothing but the best regarding your health. Staying positive and being surrounded by those you love is the BEST medicine. I know it works, I had the chance to experience this recently with the passing of a loved one. Stay strong!
Ok now on to the chapter... LOVED IT!!! Draco and Ginny make me so frustratingly excited to see their relationship turn from annoyingly hot to painfully cold only to hover over the surface. I mean its DRAMMMMMMA at its best. I hope they get those sketchbooks and charcoal soon!
Author's Response: Thanks! :) I'm so glad my brother's here (even though he annoys me sometimes), because he really helps. And I get unemployment! So in a way, the layoff was okay. Kind of like getting off a sinking ship, considering the way that place was going... :P
Anyway. Draco and Ginny are really hot and cold just now, but the're truly headed somewhere, trust me. It'll all go down at that PB. And you just may get your wish... ;)
Anise! I continue to wish you nothing but the best with your health. I have been busy but I have finally caught back up with the latest chapters. Amazing as usual and I was sooooo moved by them drawing or rather sketching together, it made me smile :) I am super excited for the dream sequence!
Author's Response: Thanks! I love it when they create art together too... and they'll be doing it much mo in the next chapter. And that dream sequence is coming up soon...
Anise I hope you are well, I have loved the latest chapters! I was anticipating a scene like that between Ginny and Draco... Definitely wanted to be in her shoes hahahaha my fantasy Draco is nothing short of amazing. Oh the things my mind can imagine hahaha the last film was bittersweet but an accurate depiction of the story.
Author's Response: Thanks! :) Yes, I'm doing pretty well. And we couldn't exactly hope that the alternate ending to the film would be shown... the one that the aliens were keeping on the planet Zardoz... but WE know what it actually was and that it certainly ended D/G, so there you go. ;) Anyway, DDD continues, and there's so much more to come between Ginny and Draco at that ball. Readers will TRULY want to be in Ginny's shoes at the end of it all (that's my prediction...) because she gets to do so much more than just watch. All in good time.
I love Blaise in almost every story, either he is the ironically enjoyable prick or an outstanding gentleman and a mix of both which you show here. Blaise's explanation of Draco needing to follow rules had me cracking up. These personality traits are ones I expect most Slytherin males to have hahaha super excited for the next chapter my friend :)
Author's Response: Thank you dear! :) I really like Blaise in this story-- I think he plays off Draco particularly well. In some ways, he's what Draco pretends to be, but he's also finding out that he has deeper qualities he didn't think he had. Much more coming up!
Oh Blaise, always one to state the facts. What I liked most about this chapter was how quick paced the flow was as well as the instances where Ginny is constantly looking for Draco who she can't help but be drawn to. I feel like things are coming together piece by piece. So intrigued to read the next installment :)
Author's Response: Thanks! (Happy Quick-Paced Dance) Yes, the PBB really is like a huge puzzle (as noted below, actually.) Everything's starting to fit together, too... and we'll see exactly how it all does very very soon. More is on its way!
Whoa Pansy knows how to make some plans hahaha this chapter had me thinking deeply on these new twists and turns but still laughing as well. In almost every story Millicent has not been a character I enjoy, not sure if anyone can make her interesting enough for me. I am going through Draco withdrawals... might have to sleep in my slytherin shirt tonight hahaha
Author's Response: There are a lot of twists and turns for sure, but the solutions are coming soon! I love Millicent, but she's not for everybody, I know. Let's just say that she did her best here. And Draco is on his way very very soon... (probably not by tonight, tho.) Just watch this space!
Hmmm just wanted to say you are an amazing writer. The clever things that you come up with are nothing short of mind blowingly amazing. It's not often a story gives me an ah ha moment or keeps my interest. The super long stories are what I live for ;) well I figured I needed to say a bit of positive words. Hope all is well with you!
Author's Response: Thanks! :) Positive words are ALWAYS very very welcome. I'm good and taking it all day by day!
Ahhhhh double chapter! :) I am so happy with the way the story is progressing. Astoria still makes me want to kick her in the shin. I giggled at the description of her face as horse-like. I am curious though to where her more than desperate motivations have led her. Really excited Draco decided to grace us with his presence hahahaha like Ginny I felt relief. Awesome chapters Anise :)
Author's Response: Thanks! Much more very soon about exactly what both Astoria and Draco have planned.
Yessssss, suck it Harry and Theo! I love this chapter, Astoria surprised me I had been prepared to call her out her name hahaha. I am doing a happy dance that everything is coming together and the drama is coming to a close at the moment... or is it? We still have to see how things will play out with Ginny and Draco, see if Harry is full of empty threats, and if the Crystal Palace will take them for a wild ride once again...
Author's Response: Snerk! Yes, they all got the smackdown for now, but as for later... I make no guarantees. ;) Um... about that "drama coming to a close" thing... (eyes possible exits) Lots and lots more to come. :)
Love is such a dangerous thing, this chapter was full of wows and swoons... My favorite line has to be, “I swear by every god or demon or anything else there is that I’ll come to you as soon as I can. If you’ll just wait for me. Just this once.” Draco is one of those guys that girls should stay away from but simply are unable to.
I'm hoping Ginny doesn't get in too much trouble.
Author's Response: What a WONDERFUL summary of what's going on here. :) Yes, Draco's a dangerous one, isn't he? But as for how much trouble Ginny gets into... wait and see!
Oh man, this chapter is crazy! Astoria seems to have gone to the extremes... I'm stumped on how Lucius is now flesh hmmm just when I thought I had a hang on things.
Author's Response: Astoria is pretty desperate by this point. In fact, she'll try to do something really nuts a few chapters from now... I wonder if anyone will guess what it is. I've dropped a few hints, but probably not enough to expect anybody to figure it out. Some other characters in the fic have been convinced that Lucius is not a ghost, let's just say (Draco is one,) but I'm not saying either way. ;)
Ahhhhh my jaw is on the floor! Super excited for the next chapter!!!!
Author's Response: Thanks! The next chapter is when the long-awaited evil plot twist is finally revealed... ;)
