I love Harry Potter fanfiction, although I'm not a great fan of the books. And a huge D/G shipper (well who isn't on this site?!)
I also draw Harry Potter on occassion, but mainly fantasy, fairies, illistrations from my own books I write and my fanfictions.

You're a Dead Man, Mr. Potter by Ahranne    (Reviews - 29)

It had started with those eyes. Whenever Ginny looked back on the past few months, she always came to this same conclusion. How something so innocent had ended up so horribly wrong she couldn’t say, but she knew, she just knew, that it had started with those damned soulful eyes.

I loved it. Its a rarity that something not by some of the Cabal, but I've really enjoyed this so far. (and I so very VERY rarely review ever, which tells you how much I've enjoyed)
Keep posting. It really is an intriguing story.

I have to say, I am actually adoring this fic. I haven't read a Draco/Ginny fiction I've fallen in love with so much for quite some time.
Please keep up the good work

Author's Response: Aww, you gave me the warm and fuzzies :) Thank you so much for reading and reviewing.

Draco's Dangerous Dilemma by Anise    (Reviews - 1418)

All Ginny wants is to get the upper hand just once with drool-worthy hunk of man candy and callous playboy Draco Malfoy before he moves on to his next careless conquest. So how did this simple plan lead to time travel, nefarious plots involving the most infamous whorehouse in the wizarding world, and the teenaged Draco’s achingly sweet, chocolate-flavored kisses? Even Draco Malfoy was innocent once, as Ginny learns all too well…

Chapter ONE HUNDRED EIGHTEEN Quote of the Day:

THE LAST CHAPTER

The minutes ticked by, long enough for Ginny to know that against all reason, all common sense, she still wanted impossible things from him. But she would leave. Even after today, even when her body ached from him and for him, when she could feel that he had begun to shape her to him, she would turn around and leave him. I will, I will, she thought.

“You don’t understand,” said Draco.

“Oh?” Ginny said stiffly. “At least he hadn’t touched her, she thought. She would not be able to find the strength to pull herself away from him, and she knew it.

Interesting chapter. The plot thickens as it were.
I like "prehistoric plesiosaur" touch in there, what with Lyme Regis being part of Britian's Jurrasaic Coast. Am a little bit disappointed that Ginny didn't get to walk out on the Cobb though. Even if its bloody terrifying when the sea is rough and you're bound to get a little damp at least.
And I second Draco's citation that she'd be insane to walk all the way into Lyme Regis, its very very hilly and steep. But ever so beautiful, especially in moonlight. The whole surrounding area is.
I am very intrigued by the Marie thing and how this links to Ginny. I'm guessing its the same 'M..' he was refering to in chapter 1?

Author's Response: Wow! Somebody knows more... um, a whole LOT more, I think, about Lyme Regis than I do. But there's a reason why I picked that setting. Yes, Marie is the same "M" Draco was referring to in Chapter 1.

On the end of the chapter, I feel there should be an appropriate 'Duh-duh-dar...!'

I am highly intrigued by this introduction of Daphne. It does sort of beg the wonder of Daphne, being the older sibling, not being married first. I'm hoping Daphne'll be a neutralish party like Blaise?
Hopefully we'll get more insights into the Greengrass involvement with the Malfoy family and the some-sort of deal thing Astoria kept banging on about.

I'm looking forward much more now to this ever thickening plot. I always like Blaise/Luna and Daphne as supporting characters.

(Hope the moving goes well. *offers Ben&Jerrys* Having just moved twice myself in the last month, I feel your pain)

Author's Response: Daphne is revealing herself as a very, very interesting character here. As in scenes like this...

Daphne: (into Anise's ear) Psst psst bzz bz bz secrety secret plot bunny goodness. And then here's what happened next...

Anise: If you keep this up, the men in the white coats WILL be back with the butterfly nets.

Anyway. There's a Ben and Jerry's down by Vanderbilt.. hmmm... I've been very into the new McDonald's smoothies this week though. And moving twice this month!! How did you get roped into that?? Bless your heart. (offers sweet tea)

The Wedding Night of Draco and Astoria Malfoy by Anise    (Reviews - 38)

Draco married Astoria, but on their wedding night at the Malfoys’ private island off the coast of the South of France, he dreams only of Ginny. How much fun will that honeymoon be? Don’t freak out! It’s all going to be okay. Take deep breaths… oh, just read it. ;) A three-shot companion piece to Draco’s Dangerous Dilemma, it takes place during the events of Chapter 26.

From Chapter Three:

“You simply don’t understand,” Draco told Ginny. “And you might be a bit more appreciative of the fact that I made that sacrifice for you. I can assure you that seeing Astoria in a white dress and not bursting into laughter immediately was a sacrifice indeed. Then, when I was forced to share air space with that skinny slag in her lingerie-- ouch! What did you do that for?” He snatched his hand back. She’d scratched her nails down his skin.

“You seeing Astoria in lingerie,” Ginny said passionately. “That’s why.”

“It’s not as if I liked it!” Draco shuddered.

Okay, no-one seems to have picked up on Draco's repeated reference to Loki it seems. You've used this in, almost all your fics. Loki, being a the trickster god (although whether he is a god is a topic up for discussion as he may also have been a giant/superhuman. Mythology is wonderful vague and inconsistant in some cases). So he fits right in with the Malfoy family and am wondering if the whole Draco-being-more-than/Ginny not knowing what he is thing goes hand-in-hand with the trickster god. There is certainly some sort of trickery going on here.
And I have a strong feeling Marie has something to do with it. Draco, being broken by Maire, must have run afoul of her trickery and its had a lasting impact.
But I'm also curious to furthering the cause for Loki being involved. The Millions-and-Millions-of-Malfoys fanfiction held a character Nick...and I think I remember a promise for his return in this fanfiction maybe?

I'm also awaiting the appearance of Lucius and all that that entails. I expect the fic is going to take an even darker turn (I suggest a brief interlude and give the plot-bunny a quick dust down from the Weasleys' Wizarding Wheezes '
Instant Darkness Powder before letting him roll around in it again).
I'm also curious as to Astoria's benefits from the marriage deal. I doubt she and Lucius are allies....but they certainly not enemies and I can forsee her acting on his behalf upon his return. Also, I get the feeling that she might have a previous sub-deal or understanding with Lucius. The way she keeps on reminding Draco of things just smacks of some intent.

Also, loved the final line of Ginny: 'You don't own me'. Beautiful touch. I hope Ginny makes a speedy recovery and gets her fire back.
x

Author's Response: Very smart of you to pick up on the Loki refs... yes, there just might be more Loki info coming up soon. ;) The plot bunny's been rolling around in Darkness powder, but I think Draco dragged it there and he only gets to wallow around for so long before a good kick in the butt. (Short break for speculation on various aspects of Draco's butt...) Anyway, the speculations about something going on with Astoria and Lucius do have something to them. I've thought about doing a one-shot at some point from Astoria's POV, and it would probably center on her interactions with Lucius in the past. And more about Ginny soon! :)

Charcoal and Paint by jessica k malfoy    (Reviews - 56)

He looked at the wall for a long time. “I can paint anything I want?” he asked finally.

She nodded. “Anything.”

“I want to paint you.”

This was written for the D/G Fic Exchange over at Livejournal and yall... I won FIVE awards. FIVE!!! I can't even believe it! I'm so elated! I can't even fathom how this happened! *faints* I won Best Overall Story, Best Fluff, Best Kiss, Best Portrayal of Ginny, and Favorite Line. I can't even comprehend this. Okay I'll shut up now so you can read it!
