When Ginny Weasley becomes Draco Malfoy's wife, he suspects neither her true identity nor her dangerous motives. But when all Hell breaks lose and their relationship takes unexpected turns, there is more at stake than preserving their marriage--namely, preserving their lives.Category: Long and Completed
Hooray for a new chapter! It's been a while, so I decided to re-read it, and I'd forgotten how complex a story is. I like some of the routes you're exploring, such as having Widow!Narcissa leave the Manor. It feels like we're in a bit of a transitional place in the relationship, but I'm interested in where it's all going. Keep up the good work.
Ginny is twenty four, and the war rages on. Draco is a Death Eater, and he needs her help. Of course, he doesn't give her a choice. Now she's surrounded by the enemy. She begins to see that not everything is black and white. Can she come to terms with her new role in his life?Category: Works in Progress
Awww...I can't help it, I get all goey for sweet Draco lines. I like this chapter.
After frighteningly realistic dreams lead Ginny to France, she finds herself thrust into the middle of a war no one knows about, led by a man no one would have ever suspected. Can she save him from an unimaginable fate? Will she make it out of France alive?Category: Works in Progress
Uuugh, so it's wonderful to have a new chapter, but in a way it's also horrible because it just means a new cliffhanger. Kisses! Steamy chocolate kisses! This story is one of my top three favorite in-progress stories, if not the number #. Of course I am really excited about the G/D romance but you also have an interesting plotline that is way outside of the normal canon but well-written and detailed enough to make an interesting original story. Please please please I hope you are feeling good and creative and will have several more chapters out for us soon!
Author's Response: I thought steamy chocolate kisses would be a lovely Christmas present for all of you wonderful readers out there :) Thanks for the great review and Happy Christmas XD
Ginny and Draco both begin the new year at Hogwarts with hesitation for what lays ahead in their future, not aware that they have a lot more in common than they realize.Category: Works in Progress
Hahaha...I love the last couple lines of this chapter, they're absolutely great banter. Made me chuckle out loud.
Ahhhh where is the next chapter?! Must have more. This is a lovely fic, please continue working on it.
Selling herself into a marriage contract, Ginny finds herself playing a deadly game, ultimately pitting her husband against her lover and a father against his son. Many twists and turns, depth and evil characters - and a long story of sweet and true love.Category: Long and CompletedNew! Epilogue is up! Yes, I know, the story has been "complete" for a couple of years, but this ending has been partially written for a long time and it ties up some loose ends.
Wow! Now things are getting really serious. How will Draco rescue Ginny? How will Ginny rescue Ginny? How batshit is Lucius going to go? I hope the next chapter comes out soon!
Author's Response: All I will say is that it's all worked out and it will make sense, because I seem compelled to write that way. :) Thanks so much for letting me know that this chapter earned a "wow" :) Best wishes! - G
A loophole! Hooray. Is it wrong that I find the idea of Lucius and Ambitious!Ginny getting it on? Obviously Lucius is a prick in this story, but my mental Malfoys are all so attractive it makes them hard to hate. Can't wait for a new chapter and figuring out how to get Draco and Ginny together again.
Author's Response: I'm also disturbingly turned on by the L/G thing. LOL Don't worry tho... he's still crazy. Much, much goodness happening soon. I promise. Hope to have it posted this weekend.
Thanks soooooo much!
The one place in Hogwarts where no one would be.Category: Works in Progress
Of course it's the one place they both show up.
I like this story so far, good romantic tension...but it's a little confusing to have so much non-standard mythology going on without very much explanation. Maybe a little more development on the character relationships and the current status of Hogwarts and what's going on in the forest?
Author's Response: As soon as I get a quiet moment.
I swear, every time I start to head towards one the characters go, "No! Not that way, something else has to explode first!"
Convicted and incarcerated after the war, Draco is unexpectedly given a new lease on life.Category: Works in Progress
Always so glad when I see this story in the "Most Recent" section. Please keep updating.
Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing! I'm glad you are enjoying it so far.
When Ginny wins a bottle of Felix Felicis strange things happen. (This is set in Hogwarts era, but it's AU. We'll assume Slughorn still works there.)Category: Works in Progress
Oh no! Draco has rejected Ginny, now what will happen?
While at the Ministry’s Auror training academy, Ginny Weasley and Draco Malfoy learn that being friends might be harder than being foes. Or, “And that’s why you don’t teach your worst enemy lessons.”Category: Long and Completed
Excellent fic. Wish this was going to be a longer story.
Draco Malfoy is tired. Tired of having his life dictated for him. Tired of the pressure he feels to take on the Death Eater lifestyle his father wants for him. No one notices that Draco is unhappy, though. No one, that is, except for the one person he doesn't want around.Category: Long and Completed
Keep writing!
Author's Response: I will! Thank you for reviewing!
Nineteen year old Ginny is stuck at Grimmauld Place with Draco. Boredom leads to interesting things.Category: Completed Short Stories
Haha, well, obviously it lacks a lot of qualities because of it's shortness but you make it up with humor. I love the last line, and can just image it rolling off Draco's sexy and snarky lips. Good job.
Author's Response: Thank you. I'm glad you liked it.
Ginny finally has everything she's ever wanted. The boy of her dreams, top grades, and a way to finally break into the Golden Trio. When perfection turns out to be less than perfect she finds herself seeking solace in another journal. When this journal writes back, she is understandably worried—until she discovers the person writing back is a fellow student. A fellow student who refuses to divulge his identity. Does she want to know who this mystery person is? Or has she already revealed too much of herself?Category: Works in Progress
This is going to sound kind of bizarre, but I kind of assume everyone follows a similar process: when a new fic shows up I read the first chapter or two to get a feel and decide whether I want to follow it or not. Somehow I decided that I didn't like this one and I never came back to despite the fact that you update frequently and are building quite a few reviews. Finally, since I couldn't remember what the story had been like, I read the first chapter again...and realized I'd never actually read it in the first place. So now it's 1:30am and I'm all caught up, but I had to keep reading even though I have work in a few hours. I should have stopped after they got together, but I thought the story was wrapping up...but obviously we have hit a PLOT TWIST! Anyway, I adore the story and I'm so glad you update frequently because now I will be on the edge of my seat looking for new chapters.
Author's Response: Well I am very glad you gave it another chance :) You chose a very good time to join us :D The next chapter should be up soon.
Pansy Parkinson spun the bottle. Time seemed to slow down for Draco and he just knew that it was going to land on him. It did.Category: Completed Short Stories
Ok, I can't help it...totally amused at the thought of finding Granny and Pop Pop naked in bed together, dead. AH!
Author's Response: I have to admit that I didn't even think of that. I think that would be a great idea for a story. Damn, now you've got me thinking :)
Ginny Weasley is a charm breaker for Gringotts. She's been around the world, but now the bank has called her home for the 10-year vault check. When she returns, there are secrets she can't escape, truths waiting to be discovered and a past in need of redemption.Category: Works in ProgressChapter 13 Quote
It was when she averted her eyes to the side of the building that she saw something to make her blood run cold.
She froze, stopping dead in her tracks and letting her arms fall limply to her sides. She stared at him, eyes wide in the red light of twilight, taking in the sight of his white-blond hair and porcelain features.
“No,” she breathed.
Red and green curses were flying about her in every direction, but it seemed the world had slowed down to her and the man who had not yet noticed her.
Hm...so how will Ginny take it to awake and find out Draco is being a stupid idiot and avoiding her? Hopefully we'll find out soon!
Author's Response: I think you'll be surprised at her reaction. This Ginny is a bit more mature (sometimes) than the typical Ginny. Thanks for reviewing!
Ginny has always enjoyed doing things just to be contrary.Category: Completed Short Stories
Aww, so cute! I'd actually love to see a long form of this story. I like their characterizations here...not really canon, but the sort of spunky and devil may care attitudes that I think a lot of G/D Shippers really enjoy seeing. I thought it was a classy touch to up their ages while at Hogwarts so they don't sound like horny pre-teen sex fiends.
For the rest of their marriage, he knew he would have to be content with the other man in the relationship. But he loved her.Category: Completed Short Stories

This story honest-to-goodness made me cry. I would love to see it re-imagined as a longer story...I'm sure there's an interesting back story that brought all the characters to this place. Why aren't D&G together? What makes it worth it to Harry? What does Ginny do to cope and feel fulfilled in her life? I enjoy imagining it all, but it would be great if you wanted to write the long version!
Author's Response: A lot of my one-shots, I try to capture a moment to leave the readers sort of guessing about what happened and will happen in the future. This is one such one-shot. I do often think of turning these into longer stories or writing prequels and sequels. But then this would have no end. :) Thanks so much for the review! I'm glad you liked it.
Four years, five months and twenty-three days. Ginny feels the weight of every minute with no regrets because each second has dragged her that much closer to Draco Malfoy.Category: Long and Completed
You know that moment when time stands still and you’re suspended above everything, catching all the angles? And somehow you know this here, this now matters?
Yes.
I am so very happy that FIA featured your story because I managed to miss it - you don't have nearly as many reviews as you should for such an incredibly well-written story. Incognito's reviews pretty much have everything I want to say, but ill repeat a couple points. I love the way you play with language...the way you evoke emotions and show detail remind me of writing words with sparklers in the dark. Sometimes its just the shape of the impression that you get that unfolds in your mind, rather than a concrete visual. I couldn't believe it was going to turn DG with how well and realistic the relationship with Harry was going. However, having been in a settled relationship while falling for someone else I can truly say that you handled and explained it very well. No one came off cheap and throwaway...no cheating, no sudden changes in character. It was very well done.
Ginny is tired of being pushed into the background as if nothing she endured counted for anything. It turns out, Katie feels the same way. They plan on making a difference in the war, even if no one takes them seriously.Category: Long and Completed
I'm really happy that you're updating this story at such a good pace. I'm really intrigued to see where it's going. Good job!
Author's Response: Well, that's the benefit of finishing the story before I post it. :) I'll be putting up the last two chapters this week.
Ginny works hard to pay off the debt she owes a family friend by working as a dancer in a cabaret.Category: Works in Progress
“I was here on business.”
Her eyes had adjusted to the dim candle lighting, and she could see the edges of his lips curl into a faint smile. “What kind of business?”
“The business of finding out why Ginny Weasley was working in a cabaret.”
Ooh, somehow I missed this story when I came in, but I'm excited. I hope you plan on continuing with it. Obviously you're using Moulin Rouge inspiration, but it's still a unique storyline within the D/G world as far as I know. Just a note, I did hit a couple wrong words, misspells, etc so you might want to reach out to a beta. It's not difficult to work past them, but it just disrupts the flow when you're reading. Otherwise, great story and I can't wait until it gets to the smutty stuff!
Please keep updating this story. I'm very intrigued to see what happens next...will we learn more about Blaise? What is Draco up to? Don't let Ginny be too easily pushed around or childish, please. Thanks for the great entertainment.
When Ginny loses her last job prospect, she thinks she's doomed to be just another poor Weasley forever, but through a surprising turn of events, she's whisked into a world of elegance and lavishness, and her formerly simple life becomes more complicated than she could have ever imagined.Category: Works in Progress
Hi, I have a little gentle critique for you. I like the concept of the story, but it feels a little headlong. Why is Ginny broke, why cant she keep a job? What sort of world do the characters live in? Tell us more about Draco, Blaise, their relationship with each other, their thoughts towards Ginny. To make the characters your own you need to flesh them out a little, get inside their heads and then expose that to us. Each scene could have a little more detail to it so we can imagine how it is in your head; in real life, people fidget, pause for thought, rooms have color and sound. The scene where she walks to the agency is very nice, more of that will round out the story. Keep working on it, I think you're doing a great job.
New Auror pairs must complete a most difficult task to prove that they know every detail about the other. Harry and Draco have been training partners for eight months now. They don't seem worried, however the two have obviously kept secrets, mostly pertaining to Ginny Weasley.Category: Works in Progress
I love how this story has started. Its a new twist on a familiar concept (polyjuice) and I think its kind of fresh. Looking forwards to the rest of the weeekend!
Author's Response: Thanks so much for the wonderful review!
