lol I love the couples and integration, especially at the end. It's quite funny.

Oh my gosh! I thought they were supposed to be friends! Or is that only in fic?

"May your love be modern enough to survive the times and old fashioned enough to last forever." I've just re-read the chapter (I wanted to see what Greg's speech that everyone's raving about) and I must say I absolutely love that phrase! *formerly danlover*
Author's Response: Thank you. Everyone\'s raving about Greg\'s speech? Can I ask where?
Ginny reminisces about her past one cold, stormy night by looking at old wizarding photos and school memorabilia. As glimpses of her past are revealed, it becomes evident that she her heart is aching for one she misses dearly.Category: Completed Short Stories
Beautifully written and I absolutely loved the plotline. :)
But I didn't think it was really necessary to write "Flashback Start/Flashback End." It's to abrupt and distracting. Italicizing the memory would have gotten the point across much better.
Ginny expresses her longings to be with the one who will never look at her.Category: Completed Short Stories
Kinda eerie how similar their thoughts are..

LOL Snape was HILARIOUS! And of course, Ron annoys me. What else is new?
Author's Response: Thanks! Poor Snape, I did torture him a bit ;) Ron is supposed to be annoying *g*
Ginny’s Valentine’s Day has an unexpected end.Category: Completed Short Stories
That was so adorable! I may have developed a cavity reading this! :)
He can't help but watch her dance through life.Category: Completed Short Stories
When it became clear that Hogwarts would soon be under attack, the seventh years rose, almost as one, and left to stand outside and defend the castle, the exam forgotten. This would be a real practical exam, and would require every bit of knowledge they had managed to acquire over the years. And yet each of them faced it with a calm that belied their ages.
I cannot tell you how powerful those three sentences were to me. Only 17, and you expect to defend a castle and all its occupants from people with far more experience than you, knowing that you could very well die. Very nicely written.
Draco writes a letter to Harry concerning his relationship with Ginny.Category: Completed Short Stories
Wow, that was touching and very interesting.
"Its a sad tale,to be read on dark stormy nights, but there shall be no sequal," Draco/Ginny angstCategory: Poetry
Cool. Who's PoV?
Author's Response: Sorry for taking so dreadfully long to respond to your review. Anyway, this poem is from Ginny\'s POV. After all, no one knows how to screw up quite like Draco, right?
Draco kidnaps Ginny on the pretense of saving her. WARNINGS: angst, VIOLENCE, abuse, drama, smut, mean & evil Draco, and absolutely no happy endings what so ever!Category: Long and Completed
Wow, that was quite some chapter. Hmm, I dunno. Draco's still kind of an enigma to me. *formerly danlover*

Okay, it's been a while since I read this, but didn't Ginny travel to America? And isn't Mama American? In that case, she would not have said "arse" and "smashed". Aside from that, great chapter.
Author's Response: Ok well I’ll try and find a word other than smashed. I’m not really up on my American slang. You’d think with America’s hold on TV and movies that I would be but wonders never cease. And as for arse, *sigh* ass is a donkey, arse is anatomy. I can’t bring myself to do it. I’m a bit of a purist that way. Not sure a purist would use the word arse and they would probably abuse the English language less than I do but still, donkey. Other than that I’m glad you liked the update. Thank you for your review.
You could try 'wasted'. I forgot to mention earlier that I really liked the backbone that Neville developed, even though it was at the expense of some of his childhood jolly-ness.
Author's Response: Ok Ginny is now being instructed to become wasted and get pierced. I'm glad you like Neville! *lifts weight from shoulders* I was afraid he was going to come off a bit too backbone-y but I really like the protective and courageous side of his personality being amplified, though with him still being Neville, hence the wobble in his voice.
A wife takes a Malfoy heir.Category: Completed Short Stories
LOL I absolutely loved the twist at the end, though I was a little confused at first. It was fantastic!
SEQUEL TO DRAGON AND ANGEL. Draco and Ginny return from their honeymoon ready to live happily ever after, but their vast differences in background and family values make for an interesting start to their married life. Add Draco's inexperience with pregnant women and the stage is set for hilarity, confusion and embarrassment.Category: Works in Progress
Forgot to submit when I read it, mea culpa.
Wow, drunk Draco was something else. Poor Ginny though, the 'neglect'. I'm sure things will get better for her, though it was annoying the way Hermione took it upon herself to fix things. Ginny seems very hormonal, angry one day, horny the next. It was kinda cute, the scene between Harry and Draco. Um, great work!
Author's Response: Thanks! Drunk!Draco was much fun to write ;) You know Hermione, she just can\'t let people fix things for themselves. Ginny\'s hormones are going wild at the moment, it\'s a wonder Draco\'s head hasn\'t spun off with his effort to keep up with her ;)
All right, I'm going to jump around here.
"Your wife has no sensibilities."
I cannot believe that Lucius would be so cruel/mean/whatever! If Ginny is truly family, why does she not deserve the same respect as his wife? lol But it was so funny that Draco Disapparated mid-sentence, the conniving man (LM, not DM). I am glad that he came to his senses about Mr. Amherst, though for entirely different reasons. It seems he has a healthy respect for the business end of her wand! *snickers* And it's funny (partly because it's dirty) that Draco knows to manipulate his father by using Narcissa's concerns over her grandkids. Funny funny.
Gah, it's such a long chapter. I suppose I'll have to give you the rest later.
Author's Response: Thanks! This chapter did get away on me a little bit ;) Lucius only said that to get a rise out of Draco, not because he truly believes Ginny doesn't deserve the same respect. Draco's standing up to his parents is somewhat new and neither really like it, but he's not about to back down and he very creative when it comes to having his father's attention diverted away from him. He would be a fool not to respect the pointy end of her wand ;)
Just a few spelling errors (unless that was intentional), but aside from that it was fantastic! I found myself getting angry for Draco. Her brothers really do annoy me. And the date was sweet. And the banter between Ginny and the girls before Molly brought out the cake the first time was pretty funny. Wow, Narcissa can really hold a grudge; I'd forgotten why she was upset with Mrs. Nott.
Author's Response: Thanks! Any spelling errors in the chapter are intentional *g* The Weasley boys just can\'t help themselves sometimes and Draco does seem to entertain them nicely ;) Narcissa is the queen of holding grudges ;)
Wow, Fleur is something else. But the women shouldn't be getting mad because they all knew (by that point) about the time table. *sigh* But wow, that certainly is something, Molly in the hospital. I was actually surprised that Bill was understanding about the client thing. Oh, and it was sweet of Lucius to explain things to those clients, and to spend quality time with the kids. Hmm, shouldn't they all get at least one visit, perhaps when she starts feeling better?
Author's Response: Fleur was originally angry because Bill hadn\'t told her Molly was in hospital (she found out from Anya), so basically anything he does now isn\'t going to be good ;) Bill knew if the Floo call had come in five minutes later he wouldn\'t have been able to leave, so he does understand that sometimes there\'s something important going on at work ;) Lucius has been dying to spend some time with the children, especially since he and Draco are at odds *g* They\'ll all get many visits!
Oh man, reading some of the others made me realize I had left some stuff out. It's sweet that Molly considers Draco 'one of her boys'. And that nurse! Oh my gosh, that was unbelievable! I cannot believe her, "I don't care who you think you are." And then she didn't know who Draco was? She knows Ginny is Mrs. Malfoy, and Molly introduced him as Ginny's husband, so who did she think he was? Ooh, I want to hex that woman into next month (which isn't too far off). I wish Healer Wilson could replace her with a slightly more incompetent nurse. This chapter was really wonderful, I loved a peek into how they interact in such a serious situation. For some reason, I really liked the line about Fleur's accent getting thicker. And I'm glad that Draco is trying to care for Ginny and force her to slow down. A bit like Molly, I'm sure. ;) I don't think even Ginny realized how much the hospital bill was going to be. I hope I covered everything this time.
Author's Response: Two reviews! Thank you *bounces* Molly is in the habit on adopting people and Draco, being married to Ginny, is no exception ;) The nurse is horrid, but she\'s very good at what she does and she won\'t be replaced, unfortunately. She did know who Draco was, so there\'s no accounting for stupidity ;) Fleur tends to get a little carried away when she\'s angry and no one has a hope of understanding her. Draco is trying, but he\'s fighting a losing battle for the most part. Ginny knows the bill would be more than her parents can afford, but not how much more and she really doesn\'t care just as long as Molly gets the care she needs ;)
So, you updated. And I didn't review. Shame on me. Anyway, it's kinda funny (though it's starting to get annoying) the little drama queen/princess Angel is really getting to be. It was quite a riot when Draco and Ginny discussed how easily Angel could manipulate Lucius. No, I don't think he would be pleased if he heard that. ;) It was a cross between cute and funny when the four of them showed up unannounced to Ginny's dinner party. Naturally, I think Lucius just wanted to irritate his son. Draco's right, perhaps if Narcissa wasn't stemming an argument (bless her for it), the two might finally be able to clear the bad air betwen them. It really was truly funny that the boys, Ron included, all felt bad about possibly getting Draco in trouble. I have to say, I'm on his side for this, though I'd have put it differently. I feel as if she will be somewhat understanding why the boys, especially him, decided to get so drunk. I hope Ginny gets some kind of awakening when Draco confronts her about visiting her mother. She's putting herself and the baby in danger by always being near the invalid. And it's frustrating how very like Molly she's become (the tea incident). A thought about Angel's flying being restricted- she did end up in the hospital for precisely that reason. It's only natural that he'd be more worried about her than about Drake. I do wish he'd remembered that point when talking to his parents.
The main point I've been wanting to make was that Lucius doesn't seem to think Draco can raise his own kids, that he isn't a good father. 'Everything must be done Lucius' way and of course Draco's too young to even have a family, so I, with more experience must constantly undermine his efforts.' Well, if he never gets the experience, how's he to learn? Things are vastly different from when the two of them were boys. For one, neither Angel and Drake are only children, and they are twins with differing personalities. Draco's doing a pretty good job figuring out how to handle the two, as well as coping with a pregnant wife that doesn't know her own limits. Speaking of which, if she was at the Burrow, how'd the rest of the dinner party get finished? I had figured when she was absently replying to Draco's questions she was really planning to leave. Draco is too gullible- he should have planned something that would have required her to be in his sight all day. *shakes head*
Anway, sorry about the exposition in the middle. That was just my thought process on the whole thing.
Author's Response: You're right, Lucius wanted to irritate Draco, but aside from that the children were expected to put in some form of appearance so everyone (especially their godparents) could say hello. Draco just didn't expect them to join them for pre-dinner drinks and he was worried about what Ginny might think (like he'd set it up or something).
Angel can manipulate anyone, Lucius is just an easy target, because he's incapable of saying no to her and if she spills a tear it just about causes him physical pain. However, Draco has no woken up to that fact, so he'll be stepping in more and more (this will not please Lucius either).
Draco and Lucius could clear the air between them if Narcissa stepped back and let them do it, but she's very much for keeping the peace and yelling at each other is rather unbecoming, in her opinion.
You know Ginny will be the first to bring up Draco's behavior at the dinner party, so he has his counter-attack ready. They've both been naughty, so he's hoping that will balance things out. The boys did feel bad for getting him in trouble, because they know that type of look generally means their partner is planning some form of painful torture to even things up.
Don't tell Ginny, because she'd kill me or hex me or something, but she is her mother's daughter *wink*
Lucius doesn't really think that anyone who doesn't do things his way is doing it wrong. It's something he's going to have to get over, because Draco is growing more confident in his own parenting skills everyday and won't be tolerating his father airing his opinion, let alone trying to force his ways upon him.
As for Ginny getting the dinner party finished… There wasn't that much to do, because the house elves do it all and all she does is make certain they're doing what they're supposed to be doing.
Thanks for such a long review! It was great to have something to think about :)
