Ginny, Harry, and Draco have been leading separate lives for years, but then a disturbing case involving mind manipulation brings them all together. Rows break out, animosity and hatred grow, people die, and friendship is tested. In the midst of all that, is it possible for romance between two unlikely people to bloom?Category: Works in Progress
if this story has been paused, i will be very very sad. i remember reading the latest chapter back in february, then i sorta went off the fanfic scene for a bit, and now for the past two days i was attempting to find it again. finally did ... and sadly not updated since feb.
Author's Response: Yes - lots of stuff has been going on in real life, but this story isn\'t forever gone. It will be completed; I promise.
Ginny Weasley's obsession with chocolate leads to a rather interesting development.Category: Completed Short Stories
heh. this just reminded me of lovely complex, where the guy is a head shorter than the girl.
very cute. ^^
Author's Response: Aw, thanks so much. Complexes are fun. ^.^;;
Selling herself into a marriage contract, Ginny finds herself playing a deadly game, ultimately pitting her husband against her lover and a father against his son. Many twists and turns, depth and evil characters - and a long story of sweet and true love.Category: Long and CompletedNew! Epilogue is up! Yes, I know, the story has been "complete" for a couple of years, but this ending has been partially written for a long time and it ties up some loose ends.
so i spent about five minutes trying to figure out if i was going nuts and having deja vu ...
i think there's a typo. maybe you didnt notice the repeat section? or you were probably typing the story and wrote the first part last but then after copying it to the top you forgot to delete the original?
anyway, i always come back to DG.com to look for this story. its the best one up right now.
Author's Response: ohmygosh... thank you for pointing it out. it was a copy n paste error. I appreciate you catching that, before it was widely read. I apologize profusely for the error. It is fixed now. The passage was supposed to be at the end the story, not the beginning.
Thank you again for the review, and catching that for me
Best wishes, and many hugs!

well ... it was bound to happen. had to happen sometime otherwise the plot wouldn't go anywhere .... but 'the discovery' was very well written. i have this strange liking for characters reusing another's characters' words (such as the way in which ginny mentioned her having to return to which lucius replies that he already has). but i must say, your last section of the chapter was delightfully staged and the words spoken were arranged in a way that made the situation very believable. a rare thing in fanfiction.
so i figure draco doesn't necessarily need to be in the dark lords graces now. his motivations were mainly to help ginny ... and now that his father disowned him, unless he becomes the dark lord's new righthand man, i doubt he'll be able to do much more than stage an ambush of the manor, grab ginny, and run.
oh, and one quick note, biologically (unless some strange miracle happens), it's very difficult to become pregnant right after dropping the BCP (which prob acts in the same way as ginny's contraceptive potion) mainly because the body has to rework itself to its natural rhythm (this is also why your first month of using the bcp isn't normally effective). so biologically, unless some time has passed between the last chappie and this one, she may not be preggers with draco's child. thought it would be nice. *tear*
Author's Response: What a lovely review. Thank you very much for giving such thoughtful comments! I do try to keep things as logical and believable as possible, considering it's a magical, fictional world. I think you'll agree with the next chap timeline. Thanks again! -G

Arrested Development:
NO TOUCHING!
i will be waiting for the ensuing awkwardness and eventual hookup.
Author's Response: :D It's always fun when somebody gets an AD reference. Thanks for reviewing!

who the hell are you? cause you are fan-tabulous! your writing is poignant, meaningful, and contemplative. it's positively perfect. i would buy a modern romance novel from you anyday (notice i said modern romance ala Atonement and not some danielle steel bullshit).
great job.
Author's Response: Thanks very much for that stunning piece of reviewing goodness right there. Very glad you enjoyed this - it's the first Dr/G piece I've written (though I've written varying qualities of fanfiction before) so thank you very much indeed. I don't know if I'll ever be able to reach the heights of Ian McEwan - I'll not mention what I think of Steele - but high praise indeed.
Hopefully I'll be posting more Dr/G stuff when the inspiration comes, so stay tuned.

Draco is looking for an engagement ring for Astoria, but is it really what he wants? Ginny will help him find out...Category: Long and Completed
haha for a while there i was thinking, did she mean to write 'trondheim' (as in the city in norway)? then i researched and found out the tronjheim was a fictional center of dwarves and that the name is purposefully similar to the norwegian city. yay confusions.
anyway, i really enjoy your story and always roam this site around late afternoon everyday since i know that's around your update time. i'm very happy you completed it before hand since that means i wont be left hanging (which upsets me). so thank you. :)
