Two and a half years after his failure to kill Albus Dumbledore, Draco has long been accepted back into the ranks of the Death Eaters. He is still obsessively searching for the rebel Ginny Weasley, but he hides that secret well. When she is found one snowy December night, he smuggles her onto the Death Eaters? train with him. And he begins to learn that nothing will ever be the same again?Category: Works in Progress
you forgot the warning about rocky terrains in the beginning, Queen of Cliffhangers! I really liked this chapter, there is something about seeing Draco feeling slightly out of place and nervous. This chapter was great, and the fact that Arthur met with Draco is very interesting. Someone is going to find that he will not get everything he wants. Draco thinks he needs to use blackmail, when in fact, just plain old justice might be on his side. Having some law experience, I know that he has at least 30% of winning, and that is fairly high! Something tells me that Ginny here came as a witness and not as an observer; it will certainly take away the trump card Draco is planning on using if Ginny admits it herself. oooo I can't wait for more!
I reviewed for the wrong chapter *oops* It was meant to be here...
I'm so lost. I'm torn between hating Ginny for what she did to Draco, and admiring her for her strength to do what she did. I'm glad that Draco is back, but he will never be the same. Before there was a naivety about him, especially in the matters of the heart, but now he has hardened. He experienced one of the worst types of love, unrequited love. He bared his soul, and has nothing but numbness and heartache left to show for it. Now he can never love as he did before *sob* In Draco's case it is better to not have loved at all, instead of loving and losing. I'm one of the most loyal D/G fans, yet with this story, I would not mind if Draco ends up with someone else, someone who can mend his ruined heart. I can't believe I said that! Ginny stomped on his heart (she might have hurt her own but it doesn't change the fact that she cut him from the inside) . She could have tried other ways of convincing Draco, she could have tried.... A happy ending for them seems very unlikely, but I am okay with it, as long as Draco is happier... I have never really hated Ginny so much before. I want to know what happens, what Draco has mind and how bent on revenge he is...Poor Draco... This has been quite a journey on the Death Train.
I'm so lost and conflicted. I'm torn between hating Ginny for what she did to Draco, and admiring her for her strength to do what she did. I'm glad that Draco is back, but he will never be the same. Noooooooooooooooo...*sob* Poor Draco. My heart is breaking for him. I'm too numb to even reply properly. I thought of all sorts of possibilities, but never one that had such terrible consequences. Because in all the possibilities Draco had Ginny's love or at least liking or whatever they have with him.
The last part with him repeating "no choice" is like from The Aviator.
I absolutely love the fact that everything is from Draco's perspective and his perspective only; the suspense, the heartbreak, everything is so much cooler that way. Anise, HOW did you get me to sympathize with a DeathEater who was extorting sexual favors from a young, innocent girl?!
ooooo...I knew it! Ginny was a virgin. Poor Draco, he certainly could have employed other methods to find out, other more pleasurable ways *wink* Great chapter! *Skips off whistling "Past the point of no return!"*
As long you update regulary, I don't mind your cliffies too much; Draco's in trouble...will it be Snape or Bella?
I also think that Ginny is actually a virgin...suspected it from the beginning. Good chapter, Draco almost swoooned *snicker*
Noooooo...please, I beg you Queen of Cliffies, no more, I can't take it anyway. You have very nicely created conflicting emotions inside me; Draco isn't a nice guy, but I like him anyway. But I can't like him in this chapter 'cause he is nasty and selfish and cowardly. But he is also extremely sexy, ane he has no control (so I delude myself), and that makes it very Shakesperean and romantic, how one can't change one's destiny. Now i'm babbling...It must be the fall from that cliff without a parachute
Those cliffhangers...they me everytime; thank god another chapter is already updated! I love how the story is so perverse...it would have been interesting letting Bella do more, but we all know little Draco couldn't stand that. Wonderful
Oh man! My damned internet didn't work all of yesterday, and I didn't get to have my dose of D/G, but your two wonderful chapters made up for it. The smutty scene was so sweet, although Ginny admitting she loves him appears to be a bit too soon? Perhaps suffering from Stockholm Syndrome she is?
I am dealthly afraid of what is going to happen to the two of them now that they are planning to live "happily ever after" by running away, but something is going to stop them. Who will find out? Who? WHO?
Draco, the ever devious. I guess there is some small, cruel part in me as well that enjoyed Draco's harsh words... Ginny is not as stoic as she seems, and you show it so subtly. Ginny informing Draco about Bella shows that she might be a wee bit jealous; she feels a sting. And isn't it always people one loves the most that can hurt one the most? Ginny's hurt is further proof that there is something on her part, but Draco is too blinded by the hurt and betrayal to think rationally.
I think my favorite part of this chapter is when Ginny calls him "Draco" and he reacts so violently, "Don't ever call me that." It just made me want to weep.
I have just one burning question; what has he sworn?
His only consolation was the fact that her eyes didn’t light up when she looked at her husband the way they lit up when she looked at him all those years ago. He had never seen Ginny look as positively alive as when it was just the two of them together, those times when they could pretend that everything was going to be okay.Category: Completed Short Stories
Noooooooo *sobbing on the floor* Draco dearest, come to moma, I will warm up your broken heart.
Author's Response: I think Draco could definitly use some comforting right now.

I have always thought that Draco would never have to wank because of the Slytherin Sex God's numerous partners. I really enjoyed this! And cute, mortified Draco is as adorable as suave, confident Draco! I thank the muse that dragged you out of bed during the middle of the night!
Author's Response: Nobody can be suave and confident all the time, not even Draco. I also thank the muse, but hope that next time she will let me sleep longer...

I like it! The plot is good, as is your writing style...

Original plot line; it will be interesting to see where this is going! There are just a couple of spelling mistakes that I noticed, just small ones, "definatly" instead of definitely. Perhaps a beta reader might be useful?
Author's Response: Thanks. I am trying to find a BETA right now. I hope the spelling mistakes didn\'t take away from the story. Again thanks for reviewing and I\'ll try better with the spelling!

That was so wonderfully written, and it gave me a nice warm glow - this story just made my day! By the way, thank you for glorifying brown eyes; people always want cool eyes that are green or grey, and you showed that brown eyes are equally mesmerizing! :-)
Author's Response: Thank you, I\'m glad you enjoyed it. I know that brown seems to be a boring colour compared to blue and green, but being brown-eyed myself and knowing Ginny is, I thought that Draco should notice her eyes :D
Draco Malfoy only wanted two things in life: Ginny Weasley and a good story. Now he's found a way to get them both - at the same time!Category: Works in Progress
I like the idea; and Draco and Ginny are very different. good deal! Can't wait to read more
I dreaded the next time she’d find me in a deserted corridor, and in a strange way I also looked forward to it. I hated the constant bogged-down feeling of being stalked, and yet there was a tiny fluttering of pride presiding somewhere within my stomach walls. The idea that Weasley’s little dolt of a sister was so enamored by me that she needed to see me nigh on every day would bring a smirk to my face in the strangest of instances.Category: Completed Short Stories
I really loved this chapter! Draco's POV is really wicked, and so true to form. I think my favorite part of the chapter was the last 3 paras, especially that bit with the storming. And I certainly got some weird looks for bursting out with laughter (that licking the elbow bit got to me...I was doing so well too, containing the laughter threatening to escape, but that line just opened up the dam!) Good writing style, can't wait to read more!

Nice job

OH, I loved Enid Blyton too, though I never read Enchanted Woods. My first novels were definitely the Famous Five Series, and the Secret seven :)
Ginny comes home to an unpleasant discovery.Category: Completed Short Stories
This was written well, but you mentioned that the story was supposed to end with a twist. I am not sure what you wanted to be the twist. I was pleasantly surprised that Pansy was Ginny's best friend, but it became apparent very early onto me that Harry was her cheating husband. That fact that he was a war hero, and her family was practically his etc. were definitely clues that this was Harry and not Draco. If you got rid of the fact that her family loves him, you could have fooled the readers with who her actual husband was. Another clue that her husband was Harry is when Draco says her husband can do no wrong. Ginny is taken aback by who she sees in Hogwarts. Instead of her not knowing Draco at all, if you establish a familiarity, it will be easier to confuse the readers if it is actually Draco in Hogwarts. If she remarks she is glad to see him, why did they grow apart etc. it makes the reader wonder who this man is, and when she decides to meet him for lunch it would not be anything out of the ordinary. Also, because the war did not pay off for this man, it is another clue that this has to be Draco and not Harry because if the war had not paid off for Harry, it could only be because Voldemort had won etc. etc.
But sadly, even with all these changes, it will probably still be quite apparent that Draco is the man in Hogwarts because this is after all D/G and we cannot have a story where Ginny goes on to date another guy after leaving her husband Draco. We all love having Harry be the evil cheating git. You could probably really surprise the reader if you make Blaise her husband or Oliver etc. That way if you still have all the details that her family loves him etc etc. the readers would be expecting Harry to be her husband, but you can completely throw them off track.
Hope this helps!
