So I'm this girl. A girl who's seventeen, for starters. "I'm seventeen and I'm crazy...the two always go together. When people ask your age...always say seventeen and insane." Ah, too true when I'm concerned. And that quote...from Fahrenheight 451. It's a good book. Go read it.

I'm a girl with hobbies. I'm a very active person, very busy, and very respected because I make it my business to be good at everything I do. It's not all it's cracked up to be, being a prodigy (pfft, I'm not a prodigy, actually...I might be if I weren't so damned lazy, and I think my parents resent that). Seriously, though, I'm a big overachiever...I play the trumpet, tennis, softball, take advanced and homework-extensive classes, am active in the community, all that stuff...and it stresses me out. I think the only time I'm sane is during the summer, when I may rest. Well, okay, maybe I'm not exactly sane even then, but at least my mind is clear.

I'm a girl who loves. I love literature, especially fantasy and romance (but not the trashy kind). I'm really into writing, too, but sometimes with school I can't find as much time for it as I'd like. Still, I'm finding time to piece together the stories imprinted on my mind after plot bunny attacks. I also love people (some not as much as others...a lot of the time I really think I hate people as a whole, actually...but deep down I love everyone, really). I'm a hopeless romantic. Oh, and I love music. I'm more into the alternative/emo/nu rock kind of thing.

I'm a girl who obsesses. Mostly over works of fiction, too. Harry Potter is my big thing at the moment, but BtVS/Ats and LotR are high on my list, too. I'm an avid fanfiction reader and have dabbled with the writing, recently diving head-first into a rather large piece of work.

I'm a girl who sails ships. Ships like the HMS (or is it SS?...I can never remember...) Fire and Ice, The Good Ship, and Loonies and Lions. That's D/G, R/Hr, and H/LL if you're not familiar with the ships. There's other minor ships that interest me, but I'm not so adament about exactly who the minor characters are paired with. It's the aforementioned big three that matter to me...the whole package is my OTP.

So that's me. I'm a girl of many talents and many thoughts...and hey, if you'd like to read them, check out my livejournal here: http://www.livejournal.com/users/shy_loudmouth/
As of today (12/27/04) I don't actually have any friends on my friends list...and this may sound like a desperate plea, but it's really more of an invitation...if you'd like, you can add me to your friends list. :)

A Summer to Remember by KaleidoscopeEyes    (Reviews - 25)

Ginny's back at Grimmauld Place for the summer, where her mother, who's trying to protect her, is withholding information she desperately wants. Narcissa Malfoy, meanwhile, is up to no good and wants Draco out of her way, so she's shipped him off to Snape. Our favorite professor, left choiceless in the matter, consulted with Dumbledore about the dangers of this arrangement. The Headmaster, knowing that a close watch would need to be kept on the young Slytherin, decided that it would be best if Draco spent the summer...where else?...at Grimmauld Place.
