Related to that last news item, but also a good general rule... THE PREVIEW IS YOUR FRIEND. You have to do it before you can submit. If it looks like your fic is full of gobbledygook, or like your fic isn't there at all, then you've got a problem that needs fixing, not ignoring by hitting the post button and not worrying about it farther. I know all of you have to go through the preview step, because I have to, and there's no one on the site besides Megh that has the same privileges, so please - USE IT.
