Heehee. I do love me some Snape. That was an amusing scene. I'm sorry our OTP is having such a difficult time; why isn't Ginny just telling him she loves him? It would probably clear most of their issues up. Oh, and lastly, I wanted to say that the way you did the journal entries was PERFECT. I don't know how to describe it...it just seemed very much like what people feel in real life, instead of dramatically angsty like most D/G fics. They weren't getting ready to jump off of a cliff because the other didn't love them; instead Draco actually worked on making friends and Ginny figured out what went wrong. Really beautifully done.

Sigh. As beautiful as ever. The fight, I knew, had to come at some point, and I'm sure there will be more, but I'm glad it wasn't too terrible or angsty, because it wouldn't have really fit in with the way the rest of the fic has been going. I love their rapport. Draco is a bit paranoid though, isn't he, about Ginny leaving? It's a bit much, I have to say, and Ginny's "thank you so much for sharing that with me!" was a bit corny, but other than that it was lovely. And Draco's first journal entry was great, too. I love the way he's taking things with Ginny...he, unlike she, knows there's something there, and it's certainly interesting to see that even though Ginny really initiated and pushed the friendship, it's he who is sort of pulling the strings for whatever is going to happen next.

What a wonderful chapter! It's just like everyone's first time falling in love. Their day together and sleeping together...Draco is so cute when he doesn't want her to go. I adore Ginny's kindness--usually I want fanfic!Ginny to be a bit more exciting, but you've created a very worthy Ginny who is wonderful even though she isn't. Her kindness and Draco's gratitude are so beautiful. Ah, and that moment when he sees those papers with Harry's name: painful, I could really feel his heart plummeting, just like you said, although at the same time it was funny. As he said, he knows she no longer cares for him. Sigh. This Draco is so cute. And the kiss! The detail you put into his thought process and his actions was phenomenal. I loved it.

Awww they're really becoming friends. They are both very cute, in different ways. One thing I forgot to mention previously, however, was how realistic I find the way Ginny misses Draco's snarkiness, and how she likes to see him smirk or even insult her in a mild way, because it reminds her of the way things were. After a traumatic experience like war I'd imagine that she would long for the familiar, in any way possible. Oh, and it was a real treat getting to see Draco's POV and how he had that little semi-crush on Ginny. I wonder if she told Dumbledore what had happened, which is why Draco is now protected? Anywho, must keep reading.

Great beginning!! I'm intrigued by Ginny's listlessness, I really liked the interaction with Draco--just as unusual as it should have been--and I was squicked by the menage-a-trio. But that's okay. I'm really excited to read the rest of this. So I'll go do that.

Oh my...that was a tremendous story. I couldn't stop reading it though I'm now behind on everything else I needed to do. I love you premise and writing style. And it was great that you posted it all at once so the continuity was there for your readers. Thanks so much for such a great story!

Extremely well done! I especially loved the way you mostly just use 'he' and 'she' in reference to them. It felt new and comfortable. Your writing style just makes the fantastic storyline the utter best fic I've read in a long, long, long, long time.

ooooo!!! this is soooo romantic.. i love this story. this is one i know i'll read several more times. first off i like it when authors post a story all at once. i know everyone likes instant feedback for each chapter but i think it shows great confidence on your part to know you have a great story and your on the right track. the dialog is fantastic. so realistic as well as telling the story. i also like the 3rd person narrative. it gave me more insight into the characters. i'm looking forward to reading more from you.

im confused as to where chapter five went since u have two chapter fours and i dont know what the towel incident is that ur talkin about in chapter 6. oh plus i love this story and its sweet but sad and it makes me smile and i love it when that happens. ill review more later but im still readin so i have to get back to the story.:)

Oh - I'm so happy to finally finish this. I think I started reading it on ff.net. I just loved your characterization at the beginnning - I think you captured the two lost souls finding each other aspect so well. I was also happy to read the smutty bits. Although I think they're far too young to be engaged, I loved the ending and the fact that they're going to live happily ever after.

This is a beautiful story. I love the character development, especially your characterization of Ginny (it's rare to find a fic that shows her personality so well). I also love the fact that you write in the present tense; it makes the reader feel much more involved. I liked the progression of Draco and Ginny's relationship, too - it felt very natural. The changes that occurred in both of the characters as their relationship progressed were fantastic, and so subtle that you hardly even notice them, but you can't miss them either. Great job!
