Fav Lines: "If Draco couldn't have the witch he wanted, he would have the witch every other wizard wanted." "She was beauty and fire and deadly desire" (rhyme is great). End of the first scene was fucking fantastic! (and as I don't curse that often, yes, I really, really enjoyed it. brilliant.)
the "crazy" section was good, too, and the last part of this chappie intriguing (in an interesting but confused kind of way). onto the next.
Powerful. I liked it. Fav lines: longest post-resurrection inspection and the puppy dog one. Very good, impatient bitter Draco. I like. And now they're BOTH terribly unhappy. Your fans love you! (ME 1st, of course!) :-)
Loved the convo when I read it the first time; loved it again here. Their dialogue is fantastic; especially Draco's last line. Poor little rich boy!

I love the aching intensity of this story - that last kiss especially - all desperation and passion, hopelessness and possession - like Rick and Ilsa's final farewell, or some other suitably tragic, iconic pair. You write their feelings so well - particularly Draco's selfish/selfless ardour for Ginny.

“This isn't about love. If it were about love, it would be simple, wouldn't it?" – this line stood out like a sore thumb for me because it vividly recalls an Urdu song titled Kahani Mohabbat Ki, which basically translates to the story of love is quite simple - so in honour of the inadvertent reference I give you a bajillion points/cookies/whatever else takes your fancy :). On the chapter as a whole it was amazing - so many evocative quotes in particular the one about slaying “a fucking nation and lay it at her feet”. Oh and the kiss; “Screw Chervenko and Petkov and fuck every last arsehole in the wizarding world. Draco leaned into Ginny's hands, landing his aching lips on hers and plunging his hand into her sacred scarlet tresses in a final farewell.” So very awesome – the tension, the longing and heartache! Great chapter and as I don’t think I reviewed Chpater 15 I’ll just quickly say here that I loved it - especially this line: “loving you could kill a lesser wizard. And it may be the death of me yet, but I cannot stop loving you, however life-threatening it maybe." Fantastic stuff – I look forward to the next chapter :D.

Everytime I read this, I'm left speechless and wanting for something I don't know how to put into words.
This story of yours is deeper than anything else I've read in fanfiction.
It's very cannon without being so and adult and real though its based on a fantasy series.
Every word has a meaning and an inflection and every character has a past and story to tell and every situation is just that more intriguing.
I'm hooked and I don't think I can say that about anything else I've read on any boards anywhere else.

Girl, you keep me coming back every chapter. I just read another chapter of KCOTDT by Anise this morning, and reading this was a nice balance of Draco's. In her fic Draco is on the losing end of the war. Trodden down and having to be parted from Ginny because he's the one imprisoned. Reading ACAW it's very cool to see the other side of Draco. The one who is actually free while Ginny is imprisioned by her marriage to a Bulgarian prat and not free to do what she wants to do.
Yeah - today was a good day - a chapter from two of the best fics on F&I - indeed the best fics out there! ;)
Now I can't wait for yor exchange fic and then more chapters... ;)

It's funny. Earlier in this story, Ginny disappearing drove me up the wall, right along with Draco. The whole situation seemed insane and she seemed bullheaded. But this parting, somehow, has left me with a twisted sense of peace, despite how sad it is. I sense that Ginny has some unfinished business with Christo and the rest of the Bulgarians. Whether that business is just going to her dying husband or something much bigger, I really have no idea. I don't even really want to speculate, because I am sure that whatever you have planned will be much more interesting than anything I come up with. I also think that Ginny will come back to Draco again somewhere down the line. After all, she has unfinished business with him, too. But I am willing to wait patiently for that to happen. Thank you very much for the new chapter!

And of course, the attache would show up, not the Minister and in an underhanded fashion, not at the front door.
I love how this story has turned on itself, and the villains have become self-sacrificing heros, and the heroes are not so pure...
