this chapter was so heartbreaking sad, but I refuse to believe that draco is dead! ginny is going to rescue him, right??? ^_^°( that`s the hopeless romantical little girl in me..)^^
the scene before the "Great Battle" with the game of poker was beautiful, it captured all the emotions so well and this makes your story seem so real.
poor draco.. :-(

Ok, that has to have been the BEST chapter ever. You know, most stories I've read brush over the Final Battle or just write it in a flippant way. The picture of Harry tensing his jaw just burned itself into my mind's eye. The whole Draco/Lucius battle was so poignant.
Seriously, I could go on about this chapter for another twelve paragraphs without even trying, but I'm going to stop now...just know that this chapter was stunningly brillant and, because of that, I'm not even the least bit upset about the cliffie...lol.
I'm sure the next update will be as wonderful as this one...especially since you can't technically kill Draco...as I'm sure you wouldn't anyhow.

wasn 't the shield supposed to stun the spell caster? why didn't it work on harry when he cast it on ginny? why wasn't lucius stunned when he hurled spells at draco? waaaaaht? i'm confused. that's supposed to be the beauty of the spell! :D

You cruel, cruel person! How could you leave us hanging like that?
I hope you've deceived us into thinking Draco was dead...because I like him better alive ;)
Lucius attacking Draco through the Malfoy crest was definitely ingenious (as are all the elements in the story, actually, including the Malfoy crest.
The "calm before the storm" scene of the gang playing poker was class...Blaise was per usual his lovely self and Luna calling to the spirits had me grinning.
And thanks for putting that little bit in about Ron and Hermione :D
Have I already mentioned the quality of your writing is just great? I actually feel like I'm there or I'm one of the characters..I'm quite an empathatic person and could feel the characters' feelings, including Draco's pain...he'll need a big hug after this, lots of TLC and the like!
