Yayyy!! At first I thought you were just going to put Draco through some more undignified torture, by making him hole up in the Shrieking Shack. I'm glad it's working out for the best!!
Oh, and gotcha about the love-sacrifice thing. I thought it was such a clever guess, too. ;-) But I look forward to being surprised, instead.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review! As to your question, yes, it is starting to wrap up, though I can't tell you exactly how much longer. I outline, but not chapter by chapter since I tend to misjudge how long it'll take me to write things out. Soon, though.

Yay! I love it! I spent all weekend working my way through it. Your characterization of Draco and Ginny improved greatly as the story proceeded - in the beginning she was a bit too 'be my friend,' he was a bit too 'everybody is against me.' But now...I think they're great. You've balanced the plot with the characters and kept it original and believable. Can't wait for the next chapter. And I agree with Anise...can't wait for the smut! haha

Perfect! Just Perfect! I loved the way that Draco said " I Love You" - the setting, the moment was just perfect! Even the way that Molly and Aurthur reacted was very by their characters and nothing OC. I also enjoyed the portrayal of Harry. I hate it when authors make Harry evil or mean in order to contrast with Draco. Harry is maturing and his acceptance and rejection of Draco is well played out - not over the top, but just rite.
So, Does Draco move to Hogwarts or Hogsmeade (though this would only be possible if the house had a secret keeper)? Either way, Dumbledore wants Draco close and close to Dumbledore means close to Hogwarts and Ginny. Or maybe Draco gets access to floo to Hogwarts whenever he wants in order to talk to Dumbledore and so also has access to Ginny. Whatever happens, I hope we see some nice action soon. Action! Action! Action! PLZZZZZZZZZZZ!

*Sigh.* No, it wasn't an overload, it was much-needed fluff after a period of so much angst. I didn't realize how quickly you update!! I just found this fic a couple of days ago, and I'm very glad I did.
I was wondering though...there IS one canon spell we've seen that can reverse the Avada Kedavra. Well, not really a spell, but an action. Is what happened to Harry as a baby going to play part of Draco's spell? (I don't want to say anything more specific, in case it is)

Darn parents and their "open door" policies! You wrote the teenage frustration so well, I felt like I was back in high school ::shudders:: -- excellent chapter! Can't wait to find out what Dumbledore's proposition is! Oh, how I love this story!
