I'm SO happy to finally be able to review your story! I've been reading it since the Christmas Holiday chapters were published, and I've always wanted to write a review. =D But then, when you started posting it here, and I could review, I forgot my password... so I haven't been able to review till now!

That was really sweet! I like how you dealt with Draco's struggles to say "I love you". Very nicely done. And will Dumbledore's proposition perhaps bring Draco back to Hogwarts? I guess I'll just have to wait and see. Thanks for the update!

As long as this story keeps on going, I'll keep on giving feedback.
This is one (of only a few) of my fave D/G stories. The way you've written/portrayed D/G in this story is fantastic. At 1st I was a bit unsettled at the way you had Ginny viewing the 'Golden Trio' and how she sort of resented them for their actions. Based upon what I know of Ginny from the actual HP series, it just didn't seem like her to think and act that way about the trio . However, the more I read it, the more her actions, as well as Draco's and everyone elses' actions seemed to be spot on.
You know how to write our fave characters just as well as JKR herself. The plot, dialogue, thoughts, ect., work so well together to tell this great story. I hope you keep finding the inspiration to keep this story going as long as possible, with all the twists, turns and surprises. I love it!

How many bets that the 'propostition' is teacxhing at Hogwarts, or otherwise setting up a Floo or Seer Mirrors (or whatever thoose mirrors Sirius and Harry had are called) between Ginny and Draco! :D Hope I didn't spoil anything...

I've always been a fan of the HP uiniverse, but never thought I'd be rooting for a D/G match! I came across this site by accident, and have to say that your "Misconceptions" is my fave by far!!! I need to know how it all ends!!! Keep up the great storytelling!

ok. first time reviewing because i came late to the game and i wanted to get through what was there before gushing.
first: this chapt. was amazing. i started giggling when i realized happy end (to the chapt).
second:OMG you like to drag us over coals don't you!
third: this is very well written. i like your draco a lot. your ginny i am less found of... there are some character quirks that don't strike me as "ginny" but that is just me
fourth:i love the fact that draco calls ginny ginevra--very in character.

I thought I'd wait to review until I'd read everything that was up... :)
Anyway, great job! And I'm glad I didn't have to go to Teh Site of Evil and Doom (aka ff.net) to read this. This is chock full of plot, obviously, but it strikes me as mainly being a character study of Draco and Ginny, and how they choose to change as they relate to each other. This is an AU, of course, since we obviously don't see the events of HBP in it. But like all good AU's, it incorporates our developing understanding of the HP-verse and the people in it as revealed by continuing canon. And like all good AU's that were started before the next piece of canon came out, it shows that the author had a good handle on where the characters actually were.
Your Draco is very consistent with HBP's Draco. Given these circumstances, these are the choices he would have made. I think that your Ginny is actually consistent with HBP's Ginny too, although this isn't as easy to see. Under the Evil Anise/Creamtea LP Theory (which you may or may not agree with at all, of course,) HBP!Ginny had a temptation thrown in her way by Hermione that she just couldn't resist, and she fell, and we got the horror that is HBP's H/G. But IF that temptation hadn't happened, if HBP!Ginny had had these opportunities, I think that this is the way she really might have behaved. (There were times when I almost wanted to smack Ginny in this fic, too. She was a lot more accepting of Draco's behavior in the beginning of the relationship than I would have been.)
Anyway... what else... keep writing! And we WILL be getting some smut at some point, right? Hmmm? Because it's so necessary to the continuing plot, of course. ;)

Aahhhh. I'm so glad this chapter was posted, and that it didn't end with the previous one, because I think I would have absolutely died. I'm so glad they're back together.
But why can't Draco go to Hogwarts? Then he could have the whole library at his disposition, he'd probably be glad to be back, and of course he'd be able to be with Ginny. And he wouldn't be confined to one or two rooms!
I do hope you update soon; this has been such a nice, long, enjoyable ride, and I don't quite want it to be over. Here's hoping!

I can't believe how in-character Draco's confession to DD was. In canon character, that is. If you don't mind my saying so, your Draco has always been fairly different from canon Draco, but this scene was like JKR's version had been transplanted into your fic. Very interesting, and well done!
