That was a little too sudden for my liking. What happened to Ginny's backbone? She wouldn't give in that easily, and I don't think she would admit to Draco she was in love with him at this point, if she's even admit it to herself. I would have played her unsure what to say. This scene may need to happen, in a way, but this is not the right way. It happened too soon. I shouldn't have to say that this far into a story, but the way this has been playing, that's the truth.
Sorry if I'm ruining your birthday. I've really liked the rest of this story, and I think you deserve to know what I think of this. That's why I review. So, despite this scene, I'm going to keep up faith that there may still be something good to come. Please pull Ginny back together - if she's not there, this isn't D/G and shouldn't be posted here, right?

Happy Early Birthday!
As always, I enjoy this story and it's pace. Though his declaration seemed a bit rushed but that's just me and this is your story. So, I gather that Bella/Cissa was in on Draco stupefying Isendre/Ginny? They were acting way to sneaky. I am beginning to miss my Sirius though :( I hope he had a nice Christmas break. Great as usual, looking forward as always.

Squish squish and more squishes! I am so glad that they realized that they needed one another FINALLY! What is going to happen and what about them returning to the present? Oh the horror waiting to see what will come in the next chapter! Three stars!

I knew it was a matter of time before we met the Prewitt's! I cannot wait to see what is going to happen at the Christmas party and also what is going to happen with Ginny and Sirius. Is there going to be a fight between Sirius and Draco aka Erik? I can't wait!
Author's Response: Well, I can't just TELL you, can I? Actually, I have no idea myself at this point. I'm rewriting parts of the fic as I go; Sirius never originally had anything more than a minor part.

I liked the description of the dress, it was very visual. So, Sirius's brother has a thing for Ginny/Isendre how cute. So, I assume that he's closer to Cissa/Bella than Sirius is? And, what was up with that exchange between Isendre/Xavier was he just being a polite host, or was he making a overture at her? Anyway, great update. Take as long as you need, school is hectic I know. :)

This is really intriguing! I feel sorry for Ginny, surrounded by all these nasty Slytherins. I find myself wanting her to spend all her time with Sirius!

Sirius is just a bit forward isn't he? Spend, Christmas with me, when then they become 'friends'? I hope we get a chance to read about Cissa and Bella's parents, I wonder what they were like, Christmas should be interesting since everyone is paired up.

"Ginny glanced at Sirius's serious gray eyes." "Sirius's serious"! I had to read that one twice - v. subtle and v. funny!
Sirius and Ginny/Isendre are fabulous. Sirius adds just the right mix of gentle testosterone to the fic.
The problem I have with this chapter, and you may have stated it before, but I was too dim to notice it, is your self-characterization of the Slytherins as "evil". I don't see them as seeing themselves in this light. I think they conceptualize the world differently from Gryffindors - that's all. A bit more cunning and not afraid to use darker means to get to the end they want, but evil? For me, that didn't work, but I enjoyed this chapter anyway. They can keep calling themselves evil for the rest of the fic, and I suspect I'll just keep reading along, enjoying myself.
Draco's turn at the end was interesting. I was wondering if he wasn't projecting his own feelings onto Ginny rather than giving an accurate portrayl of her feelings for him. I think he's more in love with her than she's in love with him. We'll see. Thanks for the update!

Oh. So, I get it. Draco is going about getting her the 'honest' route by confessing his past misdeeds interesting. It's understandle that Ginny is pissed off, I would be if I'd learned of a plan trying to woo me over to the darkside. I know they'll work it out. But onto Isendre/Sirius he's such a compassionate guy, if time was on their side she'd surely end up with him. GJ as usual. :)

i have a good idea for you, when ginny finds out about draco's trying to marry her she comes up with an idea that since he doesnt want to marry her and she can't marry him he should marry isendra and they marry that way but she's still inlove with him maybe you can use that

Pureblooded hormones made this a most interesting chapter. Loved the bit with Sirius and Isendre. As well as the last bit where Draco get a bit of a conscience. Draco with a conscience is always a favorite of mine. Adds a nice dimension to his character and, in this case, show the development of his feeling, other than sexual, for GInny/Isendre.
