Hmm, I am rather disappointed with Ginny's behaviour. I do not understand why she is so unreasonable toward the demands a Malfoy wife must answer. If it is merely to keep her Gryffindor/Weasley attitude in there, I'm afraid I must object. Surely, two children and five years of maturing would have made her into a more accepting and open-minded. Yes, she should be a woman who is confident enough not to lose herself totally to being the society wife, but Ginevra must still overtake the required tasks at hand. I'm sorry to criticise your Ginny thus, but I really am intrigued with your series and would hate for this to be a story about Unbendable!Stubborn!Uncultured!Ginny, Whipped!Protective!Draco, Shallow!Narcissa, and Family-man!Overbearing!Lucius
Author's Response: Ginny's not totally unbendable, she just doesn't want to lose her identity. She'll take on her new responsibilities without a problem ;)

I was so happy when it updated. Its so funny to see narcissa so angry, she's usually the nice one. I loved the chapter it was hilarious and thanks for the great read! Keep up the good work!

I know I've said it before, but this story always makes me happy that I don't live with my mother-in-law. Narcissa sure can be maddening! I'm almost afraid to find out what happens when Ginny tries to comfort her. And Lucius isn't much better, sending in Draco's old tutor for an interview. Anyway, I enjoyed this chapter very much, and am looking forward to all of the fireworks I am anticipating in the future. Thanks for the update!

I was just thinking about this story yesterday and voila! Today it's updated. (Like magic...)
Always fun to read one of your chapters... I thought the whole Drake spilling the beans in the parlour scenario was very amusing and Lucius' reaction well placed. It softens him to see that he has emotions that aren't under strict control. Can't wait for Ginny to try to draw Narcissa out. THAT will be worth the wait.

Wow! You have made my day! I love this chapter. I think Narcissa needs to get over herself and realize she doesnt and cant control everything. I cant help but feel both she and Lucius are going to get an eyeopener here very soon. I dont see Ginny sitting still for insults, no matter how backhanded they are. I hope you update soon. You have a great story going here, Keep up the good work.
Author's Response: Thank you :) Narcissa is very accustomed to controlling everything and it was never going to be easy for her to relinquish her "Lady of the Manor" title to anyone. Ginny won't put up with her backhanded comments for long, most especially as she's pregnant and dangerous ;)

A lovely chapter – I’m really quite intrigued about this entire Sutherland thing: will you be expanding on that or leaving it ambiguous? A couple of quotes that particularly made me laugh:
“The thought that one of them might not make it out of this lesson alive crossed his mind, but even more frighteningly he had an inkling it would be he who perished.”
And also this one:
"My mummy," Drake muttered discontentedly, sliding off the couch and heading for the door.
"My wife."
*pats Drake* bless him – I think the poor kid has been scarred for life and somehow I doubt that this is the end of it :).

Author's Response: Thank you so much! Lucius might make the odd comment about Sutherland, because he detests losing and it will irk him that Draco doesn't agree. Apart from that there won't be much on the subject, because Draco doesn't like to talk about it ;)
Poor Drake *pats him affectionately* He really is the jealous type, just like his daddy, and he hates sharing, so it won't be the end of the matter ;)

Hilarious chapter for obvious reasons – Draco handling one of the Weasley brood = pricelss entertainment! I think I have said this before but you do it so well so I’ll mention it again, I love your characterisation of Lucius and Narcissa! They are exactly how I would envision them being in a family orientated environment. Another wonderful chapter! Looking forward to the next update :D!
