Great chapter and since it was so good then I think we can all forgive you for the long wait. Just joking. I really enjoy this story and I can't wait for them to get together. One thing I wanted to mention was that First Year's don't get to go to Hogsmeade. Once again, great chapter. Update soon.
Author's Response: Haha yeahhh someone over on fanfiction.net caught the first year at Hogsmeade accident. Major mistake on my part. Sorry! I'll try to go back and fix it when I get the chance, probably when I next update. But thanks for pointing it out (and for the compliments).

Eek! Can't wait to see what happens. I hope school and real life calm down a bit (for the both of us) soon. Thanks so much for writing even though you're really busy.
I love Draco getting all spooked by Ginny's Gryffindor-ness. And I think going to Pierce is a bad idea. Well, considering he's a Death Eater and everything... but at least one way or another, Draco will know the truth about him, right? Hopefully?
Draco and Ginny as friends makes me smile. ^_^ Can't wait until you update!

OOOOOOOHHH EXCITING!!!! Why didn't Draco just guard her, or bring her to McGonagall's for protection? Shove her back into Gryffindor tower? Hide her under his robes? WHY?! Small tiny dark places. Scary.
And that line about her trusting him, man it hit me too! *tearing* OMG I cannot believe I'm going to have to wait like weeks and weeks for the next chapter. NOOOO!!!

Seriously, take as much time as you need away from this story to finish up other things. I'm just happy to be reading such a fine piece of work. I wonder if Jonathan beginning to waiver in his decision to manipulate Draco by using Ginny. He's becoming awfully chummy/fatherlike with Draco and I think it may just start to eat at him, Draco has had alot of male figures disappoint him and losing faith in another will most likely make him more cynical than what he already is. As for Ginny, it says alot about her to trust Draco on blind-faith alone especially right now with the war still going on, hopefully she'll get that answer from him regarding their new found non-hate relationship, and for some odd reason I thought a kiss was coming before he left the room or perhaps he'll get one when he re-enters as promised, an overjoyed-thankful-awkward kiss. LOL
Great chap.

I absolutely love what you have done with Draco in this chapter--that he is caught between his protective feelings for Ginny (whether he wants them or not) and his doubts about Pierce is perfect. I can't wait to find out how Pierce deals with this, and what the whole situation does for Draco and Ginny's relationship. Thanks for the update!

I would argue that they are fool proof, as Neville got stuck outside, more than once, if memory serves.
Author's Response: True, but like I mentioned before, in book 3 Sirius also got IN. That makes them undeniably NOT fool proof.

Wonder if Pierce will hug Daphne and Pansy when Draco tells him what's happening...
How come Draco or Ginny didn't think of the Gryffindor dorm as a safe place... even if Draco didn't think of it - when Ginny was told that someone is planning to kidnap her - wouldn't she want to go back to her teachers and dorm?
Sorry for being so anal about this. I am really enjoying ur refreshingly different story and am just curious.
Author's Response: Draco wanted her somewhere where no one would think to look. Obviously, the FIRST place someone looking for Ginny would think of is the Gryffindor common room, and as book 3 in cannon shows us, the common rooms are by no means a fool proof safe place.
