I loved this entire story. You have a way of pulling the reader in, making it realistic. It's funny in a sad way, such as Ginnys comment on the wedding cake house. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this fic. Brillian!

What a beautiful story. Sincerely, it was the best D/G fic I've ever read and the only thing I'm left wanting is more to read. I'm very agrieved that I didn't review every chapter, but I hope you'll excuse it because I just had to read it all at once. Beautiful story.

Dramatic ending. I'd like how you carried the sky motif through and juxtaposed Draco/Ginny with India/England. The Shakespeare quotes were slightly distracting and perhaps it would have been more effective to stick with quotes from the work's namesake. But overall, no other complaints because it was just so bloody brillant! Now I think I have to go and read your other work. ;)
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm glad you thought it was brilliant, LOL. I would've put only Tempest quotes, but alas, they don't apply quite as well, so I branched out to Shakespeare in general. (My favorite has to be the last one, however: "For the rain it raineth every day." Hurray!) Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed the fic, and please do check out my other stuff! :-)

Shockingly beautiful writing. I'm sufficiently intrigued. (I've been tempted to place Draco somewhere exotic myself and am playing with the idea of putting him in Algeria. And like you, have not been there...ever.)

awe well this was so incredibly good. sorry I didn't review right away school started so distracted larr i hate school distracting me of what i truly love! lol beautiful story and plot and i wish there was a sequel but i dont' think a sequel would really compare to this :) I look foward to reading more of your stuff. happy writing and a job well done on this fic. has to be one of my favourites :)

I absolutely loved it! I'm a huge fan of rain and storms, so this ending was perfect for me.
I think it was a great legnth, not too short at all! Keep writing!
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm glad you liked it so much! And hurrah, the length suits somebody! I think reading it all in one go, without waiting for chapters, makes it feel less short. When you're waiting for the next chapter and it's only a page long, frustration can set in. Anyway, thank you for the review, and glad you liked the story! That's so sweet. I thought the ending was lovely. Although, I do wish it was a bit longer on expressing exactly how their feelings grew, but there was a duedate. That's completely understandable.

Yes, it could have been stretched (check out Eienvine's "My Anything" for the perfect example of stretching to express how D/G's feelings grow) but as a novella-like fic, I'm rather pleased. Aw how cute! I want to say that I don't like this ending because I don't particularly favor a redeemed!/lovey!Draco. Notice though how I said I /want/ to say that. This is actually one of the best fluffy "I love you" endings I've read. My favorite line? "They can see, through the rain, that they do love each other, that they have loved each other, unwittingly, unwillingly, but truly." In addition, I love the India setting. I guess my only "critique" is that I kind of wished it was longer...I was hoping for a couple more chapters!! But Anise and Glass_Mermaid and Peki have spoiled me I suppose. Good luck in your continued writing - I really like your style!
Author's Response: Thanks! Glad you liked the ending despite your best intentions not to! I don't know how "redeemed" he is--he's sort of been redeemed by default, not by choice, so I suppose you can view it as you wish. I'm glad you like that line; I like it too!
I'm sorry it's not quite as long as most fics! I wrote it for a contest with a deadline, so it's fairly succint. That being said, I doubt I'll ever write anything as long as Anise does; it's just not my style. I'm in fact much more of a one-shot girl myself. ;-)
Anyway, sorry for the ramble--glad you liked it, and my style, and thank you for reviewing!

I read this fic when it was posted for winning 2nd in Pud's contest. I really really liked it, congrats on placing! However, one point...Draco was in his teens when he left for India, it just seemed strange that you begin by stating that he doesn't remember much of home. Sixteen or so years and all he can remember is the weather? It was just a small point, I know, but it was at the beginning and it sort of jarred me. Again, congrats on winning 2nd place!!!

I think the point is, he hasn't forgotten it do to age, or memory loss or whatever. He's chosen to forget it. He's chosen to put it all behind him--to live for the day, so to speak, in India, and forget England. India has taken over his life. That's why seeing Ginny is so jarring; she brings everything flooding back--such as his hatred for Harry.

Yes, you are right. It matters not how short the chapter is in length but whether or not the story fits. So far, from the amazing writting I've been reading, the story fits!

I've only just recently picked up this story but I have found it to be most intriguing! I greatly enjoy how you write in a pseudo-first person/third person story where I, as the reader, am removed from the story but still a part of it.
It's quite brillant. And I love your rationale behind Draco and Ginny getting married. It was excellently explained and elaborated.

sigh your writing is really smooth and beautiful. I love how you're taking this slow and not rushing. So we can acutally understand what each character is going through. Some authors would of already had meeting/fight/sex/marriage in 4 chapters. I can't wait for the next update.
Author's Response: Wow, thanks. Yeah, I can't write believable smut for my life, so the meeting-->fight-->sex-->marriage thing would never have worked. I prefer a gentle unveiling as well; it's just more fun to write.

Author's Response: LOL, perhaps. I don't think about chapter length when writing a novel length fic...when I feel like I need to separate things by chapters, I just do, regardless of length or time passed or whatever. Anyway, glad you liked it! Thanks for reviewing!
