This story has had me gripped! I’ve just read all nineteen chapters back to back...my eyes are aching a little...but it was worth it! You've got a wonderfully intense plot line...the cliffhanger this chapter was left on is thrilling...! I hope Draco and Ginny pull through…I’ve got my fingers crossed! Cliffhanger! Ohhhhhhh. I can't believe ... the shock effect was excellent, that really came out of the blue! You had me lured into such a nice, happy, fairy-tale-ish situation with the speech going well and all ... and then ... oooooh!
Being happy can be dangerous. Makes you stop paying attention to things that might be important. Makes you careless.
--And how right. What a way to prove a point!
Okay, before the excitement, though, I thought it was wonderful the way they talked, how Ginny encouraged and supported Draco and brought out a different face of him. :) Well done again!

I was drawn into to this chapter so much, that I was surprised it ended...and with a cliffhanger too. The way you express emotionally how each character interacts with each other is very well written. I enjoy anything that you write. It's always a pleasure reading your work.

Oh no!
I loved this chapter. It took a lot out of you but wow! I enjoyed the speech you had written for Draco before he introduced Taylforth, brilliant. I was glad that you had written more about the love that they shared with one another and how wonderful a couple they are. I wonder if Ginny is pregnant? I was so enjoying the chapter seeing that the happy couple was really coming together and then BANG just like that you leave me covering my mouth and gasping out loud. My sister thought I got hurt. Wonderful, Brilliant chapter. The best one by far. I look forward to another chapter to see what has happened!
Author's Response: *g* I'll clear up one thing right away - there will be no babies in this one, or at least not until the epilogue (haven't decided yet). They have too much going on to deal with a kid at this point. But yes, they are getting their life together, and I'm pleased you're enjoying the gradual shift from hostility/snarking to more intimacy and tenderness. Also, so happy you thought this was the best chapter yet! It was very challenging to write. Thank you so much!

Ok, I don't hate you at all, but how could you end it like that? Poor Draco and Ginny, just when I thought everything was going to be fine between them...
I'm lacking words to say how wonderful this chapter was. It's probably my favorite in the whole story. Their interaction, Draco's speech, Draco's thoughts and possessiveness about Ginny... Everything was just perfect - really well balanced.
And I know someone who should have been sorted in Slytherin you evil, evil girl! *grins*
I hope you update soon, and I really hope Draco and Ginny are ok.

Wow - amazing chapter. I love your insights into wizarding politics. I can so see this actually come to pass - if and when Harry wins the war... You have put so much of thought into this chapter and it really shows.
The twist at the end of the chapter was just perfect coz its so unexpected. To get shot with a muggle weapon, after attending a wizard political gathering. Gotta love the irony!

WOW...Never saw that coming...How could you let Draco get shot and leave it hanging like that. What meaness. All cliffies should die, painful fiery deaths. This was an amazing chapter. He was so full of life giving that speech. Loved Cissa going crazy for a bit, and how it even shocked Draco. Loved the fact that you made Gin susposed to be a Slytherin but went to Gryffindor. But who shot him? Someone who is against what he is doing? POST SOON
