Another lovely chapter! I gotta love your dedication in drawing out the suspense of the couples reuniting again in the way they did before. I definitely agree that Flint and Nott deserved their beatings. I see that you are keeping the characters in check and real, though sometimes I still feel like their personalities are a bit off. For example, I didn't picture Hermione asking so many questions of Severus (though i realize you were trying to create tension) .. i sort of pictured her being a little more independent. I also find Draco's personality somewhat shifting in nature.... sorry i don't mean to be complaining, I see I've gone off on a little tangent. The story is really, really good, don't let my opinion produce any doubt in your writing skills-- i just meant a few helpful suggestions. I look foward to the next chapter where hopefully some love will follow. Romance seems to be your forte, as you handle each scene very well with your own little spins. Can't wait! And I do hope you have survived this very, very long review! : )

Author's Response: Thank you MK Richie! I am an angst queen--can't help it! I don't mind your comments at all, it's how you feel. I will explain though! ;-) Hermione is a knowledge seeker, and to me, if you don't ask you won't know. That is how you learn. In my opinion, Hermione is one-third of a trio who each rely heavily on the other. She goes off on her own to study, but that is about it. Otherwise she is always with Ron or Harry or both. I am not sure how Draco is shifting... I see him as a bit stiff. He's in love with Ginny already, and she didn't go into this marriage loving him. She cared for another--is enemy to be exact--and it is hard knowing that and loving her at the same time. So, he wants to make her happy, make her love him, but feels the rejection at times. In the books, (to me) he whimps out a lot. Threatening everyone with his father, crying in the bathroom, running when Hermione slapped him, but I think if backed into a corner he would come out fighting. (Like he did when he realized his father had upset Ginny) Yep, I can't help doing romance--or fluff--although sometimes I try not to. It never works though, although I think I have gotten better at not doing SO MUCH fluff. More up soon!

Ohh this is getting good! I wonder when both couples will finally be over it and what happens at the party. Cant wait to see what happens next! I'm glad that Hermione and Severus seem to be working it out ok. Love it! Keep writing!

When is Draco and Ginny going to be ok? no offense but you put more of Snape and Hermione on this chapter. Give us more!

Author's Response: Thanks club24! In the next chapter Draco and Ginny will make up. I don't think that I have more SS/HG, I put both couples in each chapter. I am just having them makeup and react to things different. SS/HG are very logical and more adult, where as Draco and Ginny are more emotional.

Another fantastic chapter. I really had a horrible day today and you made it all better with this one chapter. I'm beginning to feel so sorry for Draco, but I love how he defends her. And Hermione and Snape just need to get over being polite and tell each other what they're feeling. She started it, so personally I think it's his move next. I can't wait for more. You are amazing!

Brilliant chapter! I am so Glad that the boy's got to beat up Flint and Nott! Yeh that Ron and Harry let them! Who the heck does Lucius think he is? You would think he'd have better manners twords his son's wife! You have pulled off the Snape/ Hermione thing well. I had trouble with that pairing before reading this and your other story. Great Job and thanks for the chapter, I so look forward to the next one!

Glad I could convert you to SS/HG some. I liked them first and have stories on other sites with them. I started to like DM/GW when I read a SS/HG that had them as a minor pairing, and like you with SS/HG I am now hooked as you can see! More soon, I've almost completed the next chapter!

Well, when I first relized u had updated I was truly willing to have an altar made for u, but now, WOW! I would think that the tension between Snape and Granger would be less after their last encounter and I do hope Ginny sees that Draco's doing his best to obtain her forgiveness.
