LOL, this is soo funny and romantic! i loved it,
i know what kind of name is Scorpius?
Awesome job!

Author's Response: Thanks! Scorpius is in keeping with the Black family tradition of naming children after stars or constellations. Scorpius is a star.

~MWAHAHAHAHA...Perfect. I hated that JK didnt name Malfoys wife. And who names their kid that. Thank goodness you saved the ending.~

Author's Response: Awwah, yeah it was Jo's final swipe at us Draco fans. But I fixed it :)

I could hug you right now. That was excellent and a million times better than the other option.

Author's Response: *hugs* Thank you so much!

I might have to read it a few more times to completely obliterate that awful DH epilogue from my thoughts *shudders*

You are brilliant *huggles*

Author's Response: Thank you *snuggles*

Ahahahahaha! That was wonderful. xD

One thing that really irked me about DH in addition to all the Draco swipes was Ginny. I mean, isn't she made out to be strong, stubborn, and brave character (or has my fanonlove skewered my perception of her /that badly/)? And she just sits back as Harry dumps her in HBP and as he goes off to fight Horcruxes with Ron and Hermione she is just... placid. She doesn't get angry--or--or anything. I expected some kind of retaliation, even though we all knew H/G was going to happen in DH anyway.

Then, of course, there was the receeding hairline thing. -twitch-

Well, as Adam Savage says, 'I reject your reality and substitute my own', and I'm rejecting the DH "epilouge". =P

Author's Response: It drove me insane to watch Jo throw beloved characters under the bus in favor of the trio (that no one really cares about anyway). And what she did to Ginny (a tarty damsel sitting at home waiting for her knight) *gag* I will always have fanfiction!

Absolutely loved your version of the ending!!!

Author's Response: Thank you!

I hope in my last comment I didn't spoil it for anyone, and I just read the DH post in the forums, so I didn't mean to let any of the book out, I'm really sorry, and probably really stupid for not reading the forum first.

Author's Response: It's quite okay :)

I'm really hoping since you said twins, that Fred is still alive. He and George are my favorite characters, and I can't believe she killed Fred. So is he still alive in your story? I like your epilouge better than JK's.

Author's Response: Fred is alive and well and making life hell for Draco :)
Name: MathildaH reviewed Chapter 1 on Jul 24, 2007 08:54 am
Excellent, that's totally what I needed to erase that "epilogue" from my mind. And you made Fred alive too... and Cassiopeia is a great name for a malfoy daughter

Author's Response: Thank you! I love Fred too much for him to have died! And I've always liked the name Cassiopeia :)
Name: elleW reviewed Chapter 1 on Jul 24, 2007 08:11 am
Haha, loved this. Way to keep Fred alive! *applaud*

Author's Response: Thank you! Long live Fred Weasley!!!

I swear -- I'll never get tired of reading this epilogue! Even my friends who don't ship D/G love it so much! Beautiful indeed! *hugs*

Also, I demand that JKR explain to all of us why she would give Draco's child a pornstar name! *grumbles*

Author's Response: *hugs* I'm glad you liked it! Well, Scorpius is a star in a major constellation....

I love it. I love how Harry had a Muggle ghostwrite his biography, and how he made up lies and stuff like that. It was really a great story and I wish the real one had ended like this. Just wondering, though, in your story, did you have Fred live?

Author's Response: Fred is alive and well :) I would NEVER kill a twin! That is unforgivable!

That was amazing :-) I like this ending so mch better. And I would like to point out to the cannon lovers out there - 35 is not too young to get a divorice. ^_^

Author's Response: Gin is just hitting her peak at 35~

Pud, You're my hero. This was amazing and cleared my brain of that other thing that people call the ending. Great. I cannot wait for others to begin to write stuff.

Author's Response: Glad to be of service!

AHAHAHAHAHAHHA!!! Brilliant!! :)

I honestly think JKR gave Draco a son named Scorpius and a receding hairline so fangirls all over the world would cry themselves to sleep for nights on end in anguish.

Author's Response: Jo was oh so wrong! Draco fans are now more united than ever!

This is hilarious! I was kind of afraid that people might give up on this ship and it is by far my favorite. Thanks! You are a wonderful author.

Author's Response: Oh, she only *thought* she was sinking our ship, but us D/G shippers have never cared one wit for canon!

Funny and totally hysterical. I loved it! I thinkyour take on the ending being a nightmare is a funny one.
Thank you for the correct perspective. :-)

Author's Response: Well, the epilogue was my worst nightmare...

I don't think I quite mind the DH epilogue anymore. Not when it prompted you to write such an amazing ficlet like this : D

PS. Love the name Cassiopeia!

Author's Response: Awwah, thank you. Cassiopeia fits into the Black family naming scheme of stars and constellations :)

GURH! Absolutely beautiful. Itr17;s an ending that's far more soothing than the eyesore the epilogue gave us. The book should have been renamed Harry Potter and the Hole of Desire, or something else along that line.

I couldn't agree more with you -- Draco clearly deserves better, and it annoys me immensely to see Rowling do no proper justice to his character. All the invested emotions and hopes, all accumulating to a disappointing ending. I can certainly see why so many people in fandom would be screaming in terrible, terrible outrage. Potter has and always will be, IMO the boy-who-INISISTS to-be-famous-and-loved, because, well, he's a hero and we all know the hero ALWAYS gets the girl. *sneers*

But it's okay. We have fandom, and we'll all cuddle Draco together. Thanks for the story!

Author's Response: It's obvious that JKR hates Draco and wants us to hate him too, but what she didn't expect is that she only made us love him more. *snuggles Draco*

THANK YOU!!!! A little piece of me died when I read the bit about the receding hair line... I just can't, as a faithful and passionate Fire and Ice lover, be satisfied with that ending. Sure, we all knew where JK was going to take it - and I'm thankful she didn't kill him - but nevertheless... Anyway, thank you so much for clearing it up for us. I like this ending much better! ;o)

Author's Response: I swear, I *almost* wish she had killed him. It might have been a better fate than a receding hairline, a nameless wife and Scorpius... And believe me, anything could have been gotten around.
