Wow. Good idea, using "Sectumsempra" and having James cast it; talk about a blast from the past!

Author's Response: No, no, my friend. NOT Sectusempra. Both boys were using relatively harmless spells, but cast at the same time, and then a little accident occurred. Draco is merely comparing it to his experience with Harry. And thanks for yet another review, I'm so glad you liked the chapter!

oh my gosh! she's pregnant. that is adorable. but so sad. that was such a beautiful chapter i loved it. I feel so bad for Draco at the moment, he must be feeling horid but poor Ginny! I really wouldn't want to be in her place.
I'm growing to love Scorpius even more than before, this is the first story that i've read that have really shown him as an actual character not just as a back plot. i love him.

oh no kidding, the angst you put us through my friend. you were pure evil right there at the start, i tell you. but yay! i was right about ginny... go me! one good news at least, if only ginny & draco are not dealing with so much right now. poor lily, for things to be so lousy on her birthday, at least scorpius came through (whew!).
that was brilliant, the way you come up with what happened between james & scorpius. i was really hoping it wasn't the curse that harry used on draco. as it is, draco will find it hard to forgive james, but i think their relationship will be irreparable if it was the sectumsempra. wow, the way you described the emotions on that last scene, especially draco's through ginny's eyes, then ginny's conflict.
amazing! you know where you always leave us right? wanting more, more, more! great job!

You caught the hints about three chapters before I revealed, and you were the first one. :)It was definitely an accident, but there are certainly repercussions that everyone has to deal with. Oh my gosh, how old Gin again? I sear those Weasleys are baby making machines. I am glad that Scorpius is ok and that it really was an accident. I don't think I would have been able to forgive James if it wasn't. Great story, please update soon!!!!
Author's Response: Ginny is just under 40, I believe, and that's not too old to have a baby. Muggle women have them when they're even older sometimes! Thanks for the review, and keep reading!

I'm sorry, Ginny's being a bitch. Of COURSE Draco's furious, and if she can't handle that fact after that his son was almost killed by James then she should never have married him. What was she expecting? Understanding, after the way that James has been treating all of them?
Author's Response: Of course, they both have major things they're struggling with. Draco is understandably irrational right now, as he doesn't really know the status of his son's condition, but Ginny also has to be protective of James. The boy feels guilty enough as it is without Draco directing his rage at him, and like Ginny said, they both had their wands drawn. But, yes, Ginny could have handled this much better. That said, I'm pleased that I've drawn up a situation that people become so passionate about. Thanks for leaving a review!

I was so happy when I saw you updated! And even happier that Scorpius is going to be alright! The way you're depicting Draco is perfect in my eyes, as well as the way you're doing Ginny. And youre doing a great job with the kids too! I can totally see them all acting this way.
Noooo, Draco!! Don't be angry at Ginny...Thats terrible, but again, I think its perfect. I can really see Draco acting like this.
Haha, Ginny IS pregnant! But she should have told Draco...ohh no, I hope Draco doesn't stay angry at her. He needs her. Hopefully with the baby coming they will become closer.
I think everything is going to be fine, though.
Great job on another perfect chapter! I can't wait for the next one!

Oh. My. God.
Don't stop there! Awesome story...I've been following it for a couple of weeks now, but this is the first time I've reviewed. Usually I don't like fics that comply completely with DH, even the dreaded Epilogue. This, however, is a work of art. Your character development is amazing. Your adherence to the original story line is admirable. And I really enjoy that fact that none of your characters are the Mary-Sue type.
It is so hard to find readable fan fiction, and thankfully this site exists with authors such as yourself, producing awesome stories.

Thank you for updating so quickly! God that opening line sure made my heart stop for a second. Thank goodness Scorpious is going to be ok. I was happy to find out that it truly was an accident. If the family can survive this mess (and I know they can) then will only come out stronger. I actually felt bad for James, I can't imagine how scared he must've been feeling. Oh and happy birthday Lilly!
YAY Ginny's pregnant...I knew it lol! I hate all the tension between Ginny and Draco but I honestly understand where they're both coming from. They need to start talking to each other fast to get over this hurdle. Dang it I wish Ginny would've told him about the baby! He's going to be over the moon : - )
As always, I'll be anxiously waiting for your next chapter.

Goodness you are so amazing at the characterizations. Some authors would've had Draco immediately accepting it, and them being happy. The real Draco, though, would do exactly this, keep a grudge. Truly touching, and a nice quick update ;-)

Oh my. What an emotional roller-coaster. Ginny must be feeling so terribly alone and lost as to what to do to fix things. With Draco struggling to get over the resemblances of James to Harry, Ginny's caught in the middle, fearful of what life with yet another child in the family would be like.
It's amazing having such realistic scenarios in a fic; it's one of the main reasons why I love reading this story and so eagerly look forward to new chapters. :)
I wonder what'll get Draco to see some sense? I am particularly intrigued as to how you're going to approach this. And in the meantime, James seems like he's going to gain some of Harry's old guilt-complex, what with him "causing" Scorpius to be hospitalised.

Author's Response: They are both struggling terribly, but I'm so thrilled you are enjoying the realistic side of things. Draco's POV is coming up next, and I'm already working on that chapter. Like the last chapter I just want to hit them, but this time its the adults. TALK TO EACH OTHER!! Did they think that married life would be only sunshine and rainbows? Stupid. How can she think that he wouldn't accept his own child? And maybe he shouldn't be so angry at James just because he's Harry's child, but come on, his son is in the hospital! Give the guy some slack and time. Gahh! Of course, my dismay at your characters only testaments to your brilliance in writing them. Good job, I'm looking forward to reading more!
