I've been following this story from the first day you posted the first chapter, and you deserve the reviews for all of them. My apologies for not reviewing until now.
This story is lovely, every chapter I read makes me smile even more. Every time I get on dg.com, your story is the first I look for in the recently updated.
Going back to the beginning of your story, I love your plot. Its very well written, and awesome how well Lily and Draco get along.
Back to this chapter, I'm so glad you showed Lily and Scorpius getting along at the end of it. But poor Draco....what's wrong with him, I wonder?

AWWW. I love your descriptions of the characters. They're so simple, but they'r also so cinematic as well, and evocative of such a poignant image in this last scene. Awesome!

oh alright... i guess you guilted me into reviewing. i've been enjoying your work for a while now, and this is just my first review. you're right though, now is a lovely place to start. this chapter has everything - with poor draco dealing with his emotions, cautious but encouraging conversation between ginny & scorppius, and realistic interaction between lily & scorpius (love the prank war). all very well-writtern as the previous chapters were.
i usually don't like to read wips, but your first chapter really caught my attention, and now i'm hooked. you're a wonderful writer, and i appreciate your regular updates... hint, hint.

This chapter was a little more light hearted, but I tried to keep it similar enough to previous chapters. I cannot believe I am just now coming across this story. Its wonderful! Thank you for making Deathly Hallows bearable. Its not too late for Draco and Ginny to have another baby is it?.......maybe, and have Draco be there for everything he missed with Lily and Scorpius? Just an idea! Cant wait for the next update!

I was quite surprised to see that much of what happened between the end of the last chapter and the start of this one has been glossed over briefly. It's a shame, because it would have been nice to read about Draco and Ginny's wedding and things in more detail.
The Draco and Lily moments are just adorable. I particularly like how you've shown how awkward Draco feels when talking to his daughter; his insecurities give a sense of realism to his actions. Lol! I just love the new surname! Hehe, Potter Malfoy. Who would have thought? ;D
Wow, a very powerful ending. I had presumed that it must have been something dramatic to cause Draco to leave England, but the depth of the wounds that haven't healed has astounded me. I really hope that Lily and Ginny can help Draco heal them.

Author's Response: A lot did happen. I wanted to make mention of the wedding, but keep it relatively insignificant, because it was a small ceremony and not a very big deal. Draco wanted it done quickly so moving to England where things are riskier would be less dangerous, but it was a small, quiet affair. And I hope it came across that way in the story. I'm glad you've enjoyed Draco and Lily's interactions. And keeping Potter in her surname was even hard for me, so you can imagine how hard it was for Draco. Lots is to come, I hope you keep reading!
