MIND. BLOWN.
First of all, how unique that Ginny is a lawyer! I especially liked her lecturing the courtroom.
Second of all, I'm astonished at Draco's charge. I can't remember any other story where Ron is dead, and now I understand the Weasley family's vested interest in this case.
Author's Response: Thanks for your review! I'm glad everything felt natural to you and that you enjoyed this. :)

Well I think that this is an interesting introduction to a story and it already is emotinaly charged and i think it's a good premise that they are not in a relationship and that's why she is defending him. So i think you should go for it.
Author's Response: Thanks for your review :).

Well, now we really have to know what happened to Ron! :) I was wondering why her speech seemed a bit long, but the closing line explained it wonderfully. It was a great twist.
Author's Response: Haha, thank you! I really wanted to put the last line of her speech as my story summary, but it would just give way too much away. Thanks for the review!

Pam, you HAVE to continue and finish this one. It's got a unique premise going for it and you've set the stage and pulled us in beautifully. Very nice use of details that builds intrigue along with bringing a Wizarding courtroom to life. I especially loved the bit about the Weasleys. You've managed to invoke many questions right off the bat that will keep a reader interested. So in short, I will pester you if you don't continue this. I know where you hang out...online ;)
Author's Response: Haha, thank you. I've gotten some pretty good feedback and a lot of people seem interested, so I think I will continue this. :P I'm so glad you're enjoying it so far! And do feel free to pester me, that way I don't lose focus!

I am definitely interested in how this could pan out, also didn't see the murdered Ron coming, I've no idea why but I thought he would be accused of rape
Author's Response: I never considered that. Interesting. Thanks for the review! :)

Nonono you CANNOT scrap this. Not after that last line!! Love it and looking forward to the rest of it :)
Author's Response: Thanks :). I think I will continue with this story. I was mostly just nervous about how its reception would be, but I've gotten some good feedback. :) Thanks for the review!

THE COMPUTER ATE MY REVIEW.
Never mind. I remember most of it.
Don't scrap it! I was able to save it from the recycling bins, because, well, around here you have to stand in front of about eighty bins and read a lot of signs to even start to figure out where an item should go. (Remember that episode of Portlandia? ;)
This MUST continue. Well, hopefully nobody's going to die if it doesn't, but it's really good, and it has so much potential. I can't remember reading another fic where Ginny actually had to defend Draco because he killed *Ron.* (There may have been some... I've never seen them.) How did this happen? Why did she take on the case? Is she convinced he's innocent? Is it for some other reason? We already know that he served time in the past (what for, exactly? Fighting in the wrong side on the war? Or something more than just that?) So many possibilities! MORE! WE MUST HAVE MORE!
Author's Response: Haha, Anise, I can always count on you for encouragement, that's for sure ;). I was just so worried about this idea because it's a lot darker than most of the stories that I write, but it seems like it's getting some good response. But anyway, I don't want to answer too many questions and give away what's to come, but I will say that there are going to be a lot of reasons for why Ginny takes this case and then sticks with it, and those reasons will change over the course of the story. Thanks for the review! :)
