Very good chapter. Although I don't think Axel will be leaving her alone just yet. I do love the chase game. I can't wait for some thing to happen between her and Draco. The suspense is killing me. You're doing a great job building up their relationship ever so slowly. I love it. I love this story.

So every time I validate one of your chapters, I keep telling myself I need to read this story from the beginning, to the point where I almost stopped reading your most recent chapter because I didn't want to read any spoilers! But I powered through, and now I'm going to start reading from the beginning.

Having read at least three other chapters that were from Ginny's point of view, I wasn't expecting this chapter to be from Lucius's. I think his annoyance/exasperation with Draco is so, so, so in character. It's really how we see their relationship in canon, and with Draco's behavior in this story, I don't see Lucius's attitude toward his son changing between Draco's adolescence and adulthood.

Poor Romilda thought she was going to pull one over on the Malfoys. I love how quick, how smart, Lucius and Narcissa are in this situation!

And now that I've read the first chapter, I am now aware of Lucius's interest in Ginny! I wondered why he recruited her so heavily. I thought it might have been because he assumed Draco wouldn't sleep with her, but all the fancy clothes the Malfoys provided her seemed to me a temptation for him instead.

Can't wait to read on!

Author's Response: I think it was a mix of reasons why Lucius wanted Ginny - primarily because of the twins and also because his son wouldn’t want to sleep with her. And I am doing my best to keep Lucius in character to what we see in the books but to also develop him into something more. I’m glad you’re getting around to reading it now! I'm not sure why you were debating whether to post this story or not, because it is fabulous! I love Lucius's POV and the Lucius/Narcissa relationship. They are true partners - and Lucius's description of his relationship with his son and Draco's escapades are so fun. I can only imagine how frightening Narcissa could be and I wouldn't want to be Romilda Vane in her presence. I'm already addicted to this story and I cannot wait for Draco and Ginny to actually turn up. Great job so far!

The Malfoys are pretty much the stars of this story right now and so fun to right - although I’m continuously worried that I will make a misstep with their characters. I love how you sketched the characters so precisely I can almost see them. Lucius was just spot on and I am looking forward to see how he gets Ginny to transfer. I suspect somehow she will be picked to replace Astoria, perhaps something to do with " innocence"?

Author's Response: Lucius can be awfully persuasive when he puts his mind to it - so Ginny should probably watch out. And only time will tell with what happens with Astoria ;) . Thanks for the review!!
