I literally re-read this story yesterday and hoped you would update and then BAM here it is! Looking forward to more.

So glad to see another chapter of this story! I already adore Ronnie--Am I right in thinking that she'll turn up again later in the story as well?

Author's Response: I'm glad you're enjoying it. As for Ronnie: Yes and no. There are 3 or 4 chapters left of this story plus the epilogue so there isn't much room to expand on the supporting cast. I wanted to flesh Dracos friends out a bit more because i wanted to emphasise that his life isn't quite as lonely and 2 dimensional as Ginnys'. I wanted to show that, unlike Ginny, Draco hasn't been keeping her a secret but that she has simply been a natural part of his life. I also wanted Ginny to feel welcome in his life and to put aside some of her misconceptions.

this is one of the most captivating d/g fics I've read in a while!! it's a very interesting story in the world of "forced marriage" fics. i hope we get to read more soon!

Author's Response: I'm pleased you're enjoying the fic. I see a lot of mail order bride fics with some variation on Draco and Ginny hating each other but i was keen to explore a dynamic where they have a pre-existing friendship of sorts. I wanted them to start out with a relationship and explore pushing the boundaries rather than starting from scratch.

I agree with Nutmeg44, continue Refraction!

Ok, I'm rereading Refraction and it NEEDS to be resurrected. Based on the hints on chapter 2, Ginny is clearly in the early stages of pregnancy. I want to see how that revelation will be handled, how the renovation of the Manor will take place and if the Parkinson-Longbottoms will make an appearance. I feel like those two chapters were just a tease.

I'm currently re-reading some of your other stories. I'm saddened by how many of them are WIPs. Are you going to finish them? Do those 3 mentioned at the top still make you feel uncomfortable to write?

Author's Response: ExIr still has milage. I love Refraction and Pandoras Paradox but yes Irae Culpa and Oh Dear God will not likely be finished. It's the age thing. I'm 32 now. I don't feel the same as i did 10 years ago. I might see if i can post the last ODG smut cookie. Depends how much of it i can recover off the fried hard drive.

This is slow torture. I need the rest of this story like yesterday. Is the completed story posted anywhere else on the net? Will I have to scour with a fine-toothed comb to find it?

I need more. *pouts*

Love that he wasn't taking any chances. Very Malfoy of him.

Author's Response: Lol no it's shiny and new. The rest will be posted when i can sort out the formatting. Glad you like it.

Best smut you say? I'm inclined to agree with you there. Funny thing is, you made sure to disclaim that it was not work safe and here I am reading it at work. Terrible of me but so very good.

Off to read the next chapter.

Author's Response: Lol reading smut at work is so delightfully illicit isn't it? I enjoy reading naughty stories on the train to work with the text size set to 'microscopic' it's a thrill. Glad you like it. I like this one because i think it is the most real of all the scenes I've written. Romantic hyperbole is great but it doesnt always fit and that is the case here. Funnily enough 'Traditions' is actually my favourite chapter of this fic. Every time i reread it i feel like i can close my eyes and live it. I also like Draco in this chapter.

Awww. I love that Draco wouldn't let get away that easy. More!! Hahaha. Keep up the good job.

Oh you are great at building anticipation. It seems like there is a million things on Ginny's mind all unsaid. Is her entire family gone?

Author's Response: In this story, yes they are. The long and short of it is that she is alone and choose to leave the wizarding world behind.

Oh damn that was hot. I had a huge smile on my face the entire time while reading. He chose a perfect time to do it, while she's too groggy from sleep to start thinking too much.

Author's Response: That wasn't his original intention when he turned up at her hotel room, it was a spontaneous response and he couldn't help himself. Hee hee.

I'm so glad you were able to get this up!! (We'll make it work for the rest of the fic, I GUARANTEE. (glares at stupid filter on the site). It's so wonderful to see new material from you, and I can tell that this one is going to be good. This is such a believable Ginny, much more so than the vaguely sketched postwar canon version. It really does make sense in a lot of ways that she might give up magic and stubbornly live in the Muggle world no matter how difficult it was for her. And it also makes sense that she'd be stuck in her life, unable to move forward without some kind of outside impetus. There was a lot of brokenness in Ginny that simply wasn't dealt with in canon.
Anyway... looking forward to more! :)

My goodness he is going tortuously slow for her. The chemistry is exploding all around them. I can't wait, I love these types of stories and his feelings are out in the open so vulnerable. I love it!!!!!

I'm happy you accepted the challenge. This is a great story so far. The uncertainty between them is lovely.

You're back! Had given up on seeing anything and was thrilled to see this in my "inbox"! Please continue.

Author's Response: Apologies, been having some submission issues and this is as much of the first chapter as I've been able to upload. We're working on so keep checking back.
