His violent gestures first seemed out of place,
A comment here or there, a blinding sneer;
Her brother hung his head oft’ in disgrace
When given lowly hits and spiteful leers.
And she had rushed to block it every time
With glares right back, or her own meager threats.
He treated her as though her words were mime,
Quite silent and unworthy of his frets.
But soon their spars became truly intense
And much more was at stake than dignity.
They both were fighting wishes to commence
Indulgence of the passion they could see

But soon the fire faded from their fights
Completely burned between them in the nights.
The End.
